Bat Thank you! I have only seen b17/747 comments so far....
@@oOPrinzValiumOo haha, i know right, peoples are trying to correct the guy's huge mistakes but they do worse
yeah, those aint turboprop engines
Omg when I heard that B-17 is last one of its kind I cringed so hard. Cmon check facts first.
The B-17 E is one of the last of its kind. Most surviving models are B-17 G models. The Memphis Belle is a B-17 F model.

4:17 looks just like the hangars in DayZ i just realized O.o Cool video btw
6:38 Anyone else gonna comment on the fact that he called the 74 an Airbus?
I just flew on the Boeing A380!!!
Boeing doesn't build the A380. It is built by Airbus.
I have been inside a B17 in Arizona where I LIVE! The B17 is a great bomber but not the last one in the world.
It's funny that they show video of OTHER surviving B17s then claim Swamp Ghost is the only one left..
SMDoktorPepper I think he meant b17e
There are several B17e that are still around and are being restored.
He said “She’s the only IN TACKT B17 left”
Malasian Airlines 370th sounds in cockpit before dissapearing: Pull up! Pull up! Alarm noises
It’s so exiting that they might have found MH370 RIP everyone who died 😭😭😭
I feel so bad 😭 not😎
@@mrsshellyv78 boi tf-
If that is actually MH370 nobody would've died because it looks completely intact
Watch this nice video you did on those different airplanes which flown decades ago. A real historic site to see where all those airplanes lie down now and in different remote places too. Interested video I have watch from Paramaribo in Suriname😃😃
13:39 I saw this B17 in the Aviation museum
13:48 there are more then just one intact B-17 Flying Fortress left. There’s 39 that are flying or intact.
Actually there are a number of surviving B-17's still around, in the U.S. alone there are 9 that are airworthy with another being restored to airworthy condition.
Of the B-17 E's there are currently 4 intact survivors with 1 of them being restored to airworthy condition.
I’m pretty sure that’s a Be-6 shown at 5:00. Those engines aren’t super props and there is no landing gear
So the “Sally B” isnt s thing, and I havent been inside it?
Unfortunately, the planes at Hellinikon X Airport were canned three months ago. The investors and the Greek state were not interested in saving a piece of its glorious history
Ditto on existing B-17's. At last count there were 11 airworthy b-17s still chugging. I flew in one about 2 years ago named the Madras Maiden
I've actually been ON that Shackleton. Walked the wings and been inside as well. We were working at 'Global Gathering' at Long Marsden Airfield. There was a Gloster Meteor as well and another couple of classic old fighter jets, I think there may have been a Vampire there as well...
13:47 ummmmmmm, looks far from "intact"
jah_boi_420 what about the Memphis bell are we just not gonna talk about
I found one in France whilst out for a walk. A plane that crashed in the 1960's coming back from algeria. It is irretrievable has lost its engines and wings but the fuselage is still there. I think it may have been for parachutists.
6:38 Excuse me? Referring to a 747 as an airbus?

They are bringing the be 12 back!!
The purported BE-12 on the pylon is obviously not this type of aircraft.
The engines are radial piston engines and not turboprops that would
be found on the BE-12. I suspect that the aircraft is actually a much
older design that preceded the BE-12 in Soviet service.
The aircraft on the pylon is a BE-6, much older than the BE-12 with very little in common between the two.

Swamp ghost is not the only surviving B-17, it was just the only wreck left fully intact above water, there’s another B17 near where swamp ghost was recovered, it’s called the gray ghost, but it’s tail was sheered off in the wreck so it’s not intact even though all of the pieces are in the same spot.
So Malaysian 370 is intact sitting in a jungle in Cambodia, eh? Kinda curious considering pieces of it have washed up on various shores.
Disappearance:
Date: 8 March 2014; 5 years ago
Summary: Cause unknow, some debris found
Site: Southern Indian Ocean (presumed)
So don't believe what he say
It's even not on Air Crash Investigation... yet
What model B-17 was that? Was it an E or an F?
There are so many inaccurate statements in this video I don't even know where to start. Seriously, you guys, this is beyond bad. Please either fix or delete the whole thing.
he flew without the parachute on the last mission ? NAH HE USED IT😂
Hahahaha....only B17!? Then tell me how one flew over my house this summer!
Ah....There's a fully flying B17 that flies with the Commemorative Air Force and not to mention complete examples in museums across the country. Swamp Ghost is by far not the only surviving intact B-17 from war time. Even considering the USAF Museum in Dayton has the Memphis Belle for starters that they fully restored.
Saw one fly over my city giving rides for $400 this summer, Memphis belle and one each in Dayton and Washington DC just off hand. B17’s are alive and well and intact
