Ugh! The marriage topic. You guys summed it up. I think that is what I am feeling. I have NEVER thought about marriage. Never thought, ‘oh I want to get married.’ It was never present for me or on my radar. Then I meet my fiancé … and said…this will be a forever engagement baby. Until his parents start getting older, health issues, et al. Larry has always wanted to be married. The whole feed each other cake and the like. So now we are currently planning our wedding. And I will admit watching that section of you both talking about it… I related and then thought… I need to get on board. It’s always the outside perspectives that help! ❤️❤️

Ahhh, you guys are so much fun and I truly love the dynamic between you two. My partner and I celebrate 21 years in September, although I don't think we get along so well when we're on holidays like you two seem to do! Much like you guys, I'm very much an introvert and my partner is very much an extrovert. That's normally fine - except during pandemic lockdowns where he just needed to be constantly stimulated as he wasn't working and I was trying to get my work done. The shirtless thumbnail - look, I ain't complaining personally and if a little bit of a thirst trap brings the viewers, then I just see that as giving your audience what they want, right?

Kimball and I have been through so many relocations of house in our relationship (like 30) and I think we just got used to each others stress energy very early on, so we have just learned how to live with and navigate it in a hopefully respectable way. We still get on edge during vacations but, especially as we get older, we’ve learned to let things go much quicker as it allows us to truly enjoy our precious time together. That sounds hard during the pandemic. Hopefully it gave you a new perspective on each other and strengthened your bond even further in the end. Hey Debs! We totally understand. We can be a bit much for anyone (mostly Kimball though, right? 😉). I think, if my grandmother was still alive, she would have the exact same sentiment. I used to stay every Friday night with her and we’d watch British shows, wheel of fortune, play cards. I remember her saying on more than on occasion, “Calm down, you’re making me nervous.” 🤣 Ironically enough, even though we’re quite youthful or energetic or whatever we want to call it, we always relate more to people who are older than us. Most of our good friends are over 60 and we love that. It’s VERY timely that you ask about the wallpaper between our bookcases. Oh wow, I've worked at IKEA in the past too. Not as long as you did, I worked for a Dutch store at the Add-On-Sales department for 1,5 year. But I had to work a lot during the weekends, and so I quit.

I had met my husband (over 27 years ago now) and we decided to move in together. I quite my old job and left my house and moved to the area where my hysband lived. IKEA was the first job I got there. I guess you're familiar with the Add-On-Sales department, and all the different Open Your Wallet areas in the store, that we took care of 🙂

Rocky, the music issue is complicated. It's really old school stuff, nothing at all like current pop music. Also, there are some songs from the 70s I recorded on a 4-track I had back then. They were transferred to CD in the mid-2000s, so they are WAV files but I'm not sure how that works. Also, I have a freeware DAW that allows me to compose in MIDI but there are obviously no vocals. I have a lot of MIDI stuff but I'm not sure if you want to hear tunes reminiscent of Mario Brothers. Also, I'm not comfortable sending files through the comments. I never promote it or anything, but it’s kind of like a RUclips for music. You could check it out to see if it’s a good fit for you. For instance, this is my last album on SoundCloud: on.soundcloud.com/GYBFb2dV8WwsA3Aj8 But ultimately, whether or not you want anyone to hear those things is a personal choice. I did a lot of midi composing in college which I loved. I never got around to uploading it anywhere but it is music nonetheless.

My hair was really dry like you both were mentioning and there’s an Italian company called My Organics who make great hair products that are organically farmed. I never get issues with skin sensitivity and my curly hair isn’t dry like it was now. They aren’t hugely expensive and have an Argan oil called Restructuring fluid and leave in conditioner called Angel Potion. Pretty sure they’re available in the UK.

It’s not REALLY a big deal and is very much a first world problem, but we do like having healthy hair (for whatever reason 🤪). On the topic of living in Paris someday and travelling, have either of you guys looked into seeing if you qualify for an EU citizenship by descent (the main ones that you can claim quite a few generations back being Ireland, Germany, or Italy)? My application for Italian citizenship is being processed right now, and it will open up a lot of options. Might be worth checking out if not.

I believe my great grandmother was German. Hard to say but maybe something to investigate at bit! I know on my dna profile, it said the earliest traces for my specific DNA began in a small Italian town. But that’s probably too far back. It also said I had Neanderthal variants. OMG... My husband and I are watching this, and we keep saying, "This sounds familiar." For instance: Before I met him, I was sporting a Ska boy haircut. I met him while I was experimenting with a ponytail and not liking it. Then he came along and I was stuck in long hair forever. We compromised during the pandemic and now he shaves half my head and leaves the other side long.

Never thought, ‘oh I want to get married.’ It was never present for me or on my radar. Then I meet my fiancé … and said…this will be a forever engagement baby. Until his parents start getting older, health issues, et al. Larry has always wanted to be married. The whole feed each other cake and the like. So now we are currently planning our wedding. Ahhh, you guys are so much fun and I truly love the dynamic between you two. My partner and I celebrate 21 years in September, although I don't think we get along so well when we're on holidays like you two seem to do! Much like you guys, I'm very much an introvert and my partner is very much an extrovert. That's normally fine - except during pandemic lockdowns where he just needed to be constantly stimulated as he wasn't working and I was trying to get my work done. The shirtless thumbnail - look, I ain't complaining personally and if a little bit of a thirst trap brings the viewers, then I just see that as giving your audience what they want, right?

I think traveling can be a stressful thing and can cause couples to bicker. Kimball and I have been through so many relocations of house in our relationship (like 30) and I think we just got used to each others stress energy very early on, so we have just learned how to live with and navigate it in a hopefully respectable way. We still get on edge during vacations but, especially as we get older, we’ve learned to let things go much quicker as it allows us to truly enjoy our precious time together.
That sounds hard during the pandemic. Hopefully it gave you a new perspective on each other and strengthened your bond even further in the end. We send lots of love and hope you both have a fabulous week 👨❤️💋👨😎

Hey Debs! We totally understand. We can be a bit much for anyone (mostly Kimball though, right? 😉). I think, if my grandmother was still alive, she would have the exact same sentiment. I used to stay every Friday night with her and we’d watch British shows, wheel of fortune, play cards. I remember her saying on more than on occasion, “Calm down, you’re making me nervous.” 🤣
Ironically enough, even though we’re quite youthful or energetic or whatever we want to call it, we always relate more to people who are older than us. Most of our good friends are over 60 and we love that.

Oh wow, I've worked at IKEA in the past too. Not as long as you did, I worked for a Dutch store at the Add-On-Sales department for 1,5 year. But I had to work a lot during the weekends, and so I quit.

@@RockyandKimball What I liked most were indeed all the different customers in the store, and all the colleagues. At least over here, IKEA was very open to all people. I had met my husband (over 27 years ago now) and we decided to move in together. I quite my old job and left my house and moved to the area where my hysband lived. IKEA was the first job I got there. I guess you're familiar with the Add-On-Sales department, and all the different Open Your Wallet areas in the store, that we took care of 🙂

And the narrow quaint shopping streets and market were so fun to explore. There was a store selling little figurines of ghosts with a line around the block, which I thought was funny and quirky.
We never made it to the National Railway Museum, so that’s definitely something we could do when we go back.

Rocky, the music issue is complicated. It's really old school stuff, nothing at all like current pop music. Also, there are some songs from the 70s I recorded on a 4-track I had back then. They were transferred to CD in the mid-2000s, so they are WAV files but I'm not sure how that works. Also, I have a freeware DAW that allows me to compose in MIDI but there are obviously no vocals. I have a lot of MIDI stuff but I'm not sure if you want to hear tunes reminiscent of Mario Brothers. Also, I'm not comfortable sending files through the comments. Please advise me on all of these issues.

I actually upload my music to SoundCloud. Mainly because it’s a free service that allows me to share my music with others. I never promote it or anything, but it’s kind of like a RUclips for music.

Mine has deteriorated with age. Used to sing in church and in a men's chorus. When you have time, please let me know the DAW you use. Do you use plug-ins and/or virtual synthesizers? I know nothing about them. I need to figure out how to upload WAV and MIDI files, My stuff is nowhere near as polished as this song. Say hello to Kimball for me.

Living in Florida I truly miss the change of seasons...so the NOrth may call our name...In Tampa, a one bedroom apartment of 700;ish sq feet starts around $2200 US GASP! Now get to bed! ;)

My hair was really dry like you both were mentioning and there’s an Italian company called My Organics who make great hair products that are organically farmed. I never get issues with skin sensitivity and my curly hair isn’t dry like it was now. They aren’t hugely expensive and have an Argan oil called Restructuring fluid and leave in conditioner called Angel Potion. Pretty sure they’re available in the UK.

We haven’t done oil treatments but I think we’re going to start looking into that and some other options. It’s not REALLY a big deal and is very much a first world problem, but we do like having healthy hair (for whatever reason 🤪).

Thanks for answering ! It's been crazy watching your channel grow since the algorithm randomly recommended it a few months ago (very well earned, by the way). On the topic of living in Paris someday and travelling, have either of you guys looked into seeing if you qualify for an EU citizenship by descent (the main ones that you can claim quite a few generations back being Ireland, Germany, or Italy)? My application for Italian citizenship is being processed right now, and it will open up a lot of options. Might be worth checking out if not.

I didn’t know about the EU citizenship thing. My grandmother was from England and I’m not sure about any other relatives. I believe my great grandmother was German. Hard to say but maybe something to investigate at bit! I know on my dna profile, it said the earliest traces for my specific DNA began in a small Italian town. But that’s probably too far back. It also said I had Neanderthal variants. That tracks as I’m sure my ancestors were also a tad slutty. 🤣

We always try to be as honest and transparent as possible. I think it’s important when interacting in a public space. Also, we feel people are graving genuine personalities in the world around them. So, even if we aren’t for everyone, we give a clear message of who we are so we can attract the types of people who do appreciate it.

OMG... My husband and I are watching this, and we keep saying, "This sounds familiar." For instance: Before I met him, I was sporting a Ska boy haircut. I met him while I was experimenting with a ponytail and not liking it. Then he came along and I was stuck in long hair forever. We compromised during the pandemic and now he shaves half my head and leaves the other side long.
