That first story was shameful because Most online sellers are Happy to work with you if something is wrong with your order. Anytime I have either received damaged goods, or something was missing or whatever was wrong, customer service was more than happy to either replace or refund the money without my asking. Then again, I have worked CS as a manager. So I never approach angry because I know it’s not their fault. That may be the reason people bend over backwards. It truly makes a difference how you approach people.
As a high volume buyer, I will always open dialogue with the seller first. With that, here in Australia our postal service is absolutely crap. I have had items from international sellers arriving before I’ve received things from local sellers. I will also wait out a maximum time for delivery, this can be detrimental as occasionally I have not received the item and the timeframe for disputes has ended. Though this being said, I’ve only had a handful of these incidents over the hundreds of items bought.
puncture my tyre. go to your local electronics wholesaler ask the boss for some empty boxes of various luxury items, reassemble the boxes and add some weight(small sand bag) make sure the neighbours see you carry them into the house, fold up the box take it out in plain sight and return the empty box to the shop, keep doing this and watch the neighbours buy all the stuff you dont have and dont need!!!!!

According to driver safety training, honking your horn is a valid means of warning of a hazard, just don’t lean on it. It is considered a communication device. Growing up in the NY metropolitan area, you got honked all the time. Nobody took it personal, but I got weird responses out here in California. Like one guy with a way to long long delayed start from a light throwing his hands in the air and still not moving. Example from a Defensive Driving Class that all grad students had to take. A vehicle was coming down a hill to a traffic light that was red to them. They are blaring their horn. The vehicle with the green light enters the intersection and gets t-boned by the car coming down the hill. Fade to court date. Car with green light sues other driver. Judge throws out the suit, why? Your responsibility is to avoid accidents, not create them and “right of way “ doesn’t exist. The car coming down the hill had lost brakes completely (road hazard had broken the brake line) and there wasn’t a safe area to stop/crash the vehicle. The driver with the green light gets a ticket for not heeding an oncoming traffic hazard.
Story 6: The Hanky Code hasn't been relevant since the 80s when it evolved into different fashion trends. Honestly OP sounds as obnoxious as the boss their trying to insult. "I know this random fact that hasn't been relevant in 30 years, I'll totally make this jerk look dumb by sharing it with them". Things evolve and change meaning, sharing how out of touch you are about that fact isn't making you look smart or them look dumb.

It's amazing how we went from customer service are essential workers back to them being treated like sh!t only a few years later. People get hurt and sick.... Then they get punished WHILE management complains about "there aren't enough workers!" No there are plenty of workers they just don't want to be paid shit wages and treated even worse. Technically is pronounced Jif and NOT Gif. The creator of the file format even came forward and said that Jif was how it was supposed to be pronounced. Also if an 'I' proceeds the letter 'G' it is a soft 'G' sound i.e. Jif. Its just that society has declared it Gif.
