1 and 2 were the best of the trilogy. The sociological jabs at humanity are the driving force of the movies and I don’t think they could have been done better.
Few things, I'd like to mention. Yes, I love RoboCop both 1 and 2. In fact, RoboCop 2 was my first exposure to the character and then when I watched it, especially the first one on VCD, with my Elder brother, I enjoyed the hell out of it. It was amazing. Fun Fact, the two guys who made it happen, the director of this film you're reacting to, and the music composed in this film, is were the best Sci-fi guys, Irvin Kershner who directed Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and Leonard Rosenman, who composed the music for Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. Another thing I'd like to point out is that the actress who did the Sunblock 5000 ad, Fabiana Udenio, is the same actress who played Kreeya in the Mortal Kombat Conquest TV series from only three Episodes, 16, 18, and 20. And Belinda Bauer's character Dr. Juliette Faxx, (the female Dick Jones in the sequel since Ronny Cox's character Dick Jones got what he deserved for ruining his (RoboCop's/Murphy's) life) is based on Dr. Love from Frank Miller's RoboCop.
@@GirlBehindTheCounter The thing is Hob represents the young kids who get roped up with drug dealers, and apparently S&E weren't too thrilled about it even though it represented something that was real
Thank you! Unfortunately no: the only way would be to see the raw files but those aren't synced with the footage from Robocop 2. That is an interesting idea though! I'll have to talk to my Producer about that as we do the editing process together.
That 'young man' was awesome right? Not sure what happened to the actor after this, better dive into IMDb later. It's an amazing sequel, love your reactions!
@@GirlBehindTheCounter hard to believe they made a children's cartoon based on the first film. Killed a kid in the second and made the 3rd kiddie friendly.
You kinda look like and remind me of Fred(Amy Acker) from Angel the Buffy The Vampire Slayer spinoff show(my favorite show.) Fred is unfortunately one of my least favorite characters, no offense, but at the end of the show she becomes one of my favorite of both of those shows, don't want to spoil it how that's possible she plays one of my least fav and fav at the same time.
1:56 I'm not trying to be mean, just trying to get a little insight cause can't tell if it's a joke in this day and age. Do people really think you can buy a bazooka at a gun store?
You know to be honest I'm not really a gun person. I'm a bit of klutz so its probably not best to give me a weapon. But yeah that was just a weird ad lib from a non gun person.
While not quite as strong as the first one, part 2 is a solid sequel. I mean, how many sci-fi movies have a drug-dealing kid as one of its main villains?
God damn you're hot, just saying. Also, robocop 2 gets such a bad rap but I think it's a damn good sequel and compliments the first movie, which we can all agree is a masterpiece.
Well I'm glad you got through some of the reaction video. After all they do include chatter. It's not really much of a reaction video if I don't speak lol
Sorry but I got about 2 minutes into your review before I couldn't even pretend to enjoy your commentary or personality. Just because you're an intelligent female that doesn't make you interesting or entertaining. Still I wish you the best

Yeah I don't know why Robocop 2 is lumped in with three. No it's not a perfect film but it is fun.
Does Part 3 event count

Some very fun facts !
16:40 no little Wall Street! Lol you had me rolling
Thanks!
Gotta love the fact that this and RoboCop 3 are written by Frank Miller, pre-crazy Miller that is...
Thanks for the trivia! I didn't know that actually!
@@GirlBehindTheCounter do you have 1987 part 1
Robocop 2 Love it👍👍& the Original
It's fantastic.
Yeah same here.
I like robocop 2 regardless of what other people say.
Yeah to be honest I don't think its that bad.
@@GirlBehindTheCounter and you would be right it is a worthy sequel to the first robocop.
I'm amazing RoboCop survived that magnet, because, ya know... computers and magnets.
shhh! Don't tell anyone this but he was saved by the power of OCP's quarterly revenue reports!
Literally this is watch this movie with my mother, her yelling and tv "smack him SMACK HIM" LMAO
Thats fantastic!
The only reason why 2 certain critics torn this movie a new one is because of the character Hob,who was a kid who was a willing member of Cain's gang
I loved that kid I'm not gonna lie !
@@GirlBehindTheCounter The thing is Hob represents the young kids who get roped up with drug dealers, and apparently S&E weren't too thrilled about it even though it represented something that was real
They put a kid to make this PG13 and catch a younger audience.
That ending line is epic
It's brilliant.
A underrated movie and review. Keep up the good work!
Thanks a ton!
Robocop 2 was made in the 80s but was released in 1990.
That explains it all
Fun fact: That little boy shooting robocop was none other than Little Foot from Land Before Time. Let that sink in. Google that!
My mind has been blown.
NO WAY 🤯
Awesome show there GBTC. Keep up the terrific work 👏 👍
Thanks! Will do!
@@GirlBehindTheCounter Right on

Make just an audio commentary track of just your voice, people can sync to their copy of the movie.
That 'young man' was awesome right? Not sure what happened to the actor after this, better dive into IMDb later. It's an amazing sequel, love your reactions!
Thank you! Yeah he was my favorite part of the movie!
I love your voice! That eye shade is not working for me, but I love the voice.
Thanks for the kind words. I love blue eyeshadow but it doesn't always love me.
@@GirlBehindTheCounter Anytime! Good choice. Robocop 2 is my favorite.
Violin man is my favourite scene lol
An amazing addition to cinema.
First RoboCop film I saw in the cinema
I'm so jealous ….you got to see the little wall street guy on the big screen.
@@GirlBehindTheCounter hard to believe they made a children's cartoon based on the first film. Killed a kid in the second and made the 3rd kiddie friendly.
Yay! I'm glad you got the video up!
Me too!!
Did you watch the original RoboCop?
Yes in fact I have!
"The woman" was not innocent here, she was as evil as the last villain and she actually did awful things by her own.
She is certainly a morally dubious figure.
You kinda look like and remind me of Fred(Amy Acker) from Angel the Buffy The Vampire Slayer spinoff show(my favorite show.) I can see the resemblance. I usually get Alia Shawkat, so this is a welcome addition to my celebrity lookalike repertoire.
The movie itself is pretty decent and not without flaws. However, the stop-motion and the models is some of the best I have seen.
Agreed they are phenomenal.
Love the reaction, not a big fan of Robocop 2 although it does have its moments. Glad to see you can post the video on your channel.
Thank you as always! I get you, for me the first has a special place in my heart. I'm glad that RUclips finally let us post!

it does take place in a dystopian future...maybe the laws for buying rocket launchers are a litttle more lax?
Look lady of course they let kids in to that party, they're corrupt.
I don't know if I should be proud or concerned.

Agreed. Its certainly no Robocop, nothing could be, but its also not Robocop 3.
ok look, the gunshop owner was a fanatic. It is possible for civilians to get that kind of weaponry.
Hey what can I say I'm no gun shop expert but that was a whole lot.

Frank Miller hates kids.
As do I, some days!
NICE! I'm sorry I missed this a year ago. I love this film! But the shoulder pads are a tad off-putting.
I went through a bit of phase recently. What can I say the crown really got me into 80s sweaters.
That party was a clubhouse, not a legit bar.
Whoops my bad.
"Robocop". "That's the name of the movie". No it isn't.
You're absolutely right its Robocop 2! Great catch.
