I've got to say, the Human Centipede 2 really disturbed me the first time I saw it. I think why it bothers me more than the first is that it COULD happen. I've seen a few twisted up folk that get WAY too obsessed with particular horror films. And I could see someone going completely over the top and doing this. By the end of it, I felt like I must still have some semblance of empathy, because I wouldn't do the messed up stuff going on in that movie to my worst enemy. It was weird because the flashback felt like a comedy riff on a David Lynch film, but the ending...Sheer brutality! The first one was...Interesting. The second felt like some goon ripping the first one off and going over the top thinking that would make it better. But instead, it just made it feel grimy and sleazy to me. It was bizarre to realize it's the same person. Godfather 2 I do enjoy. Mostly the flashback parts. Vito's story is much more interesting to me than Michael's. The parallels between the characters and the differences keep it interesting. Vito, by bad luck, ends up falling in with the mob, but uses it to make an empire and polices his empire with a firm but fair hand. Michael starts out a kind man who is forced into taking up his father's legacy for revenge and self-preservation, but ends up digging himself deeper and deeper in. By trying to extricate himself from the criminal life, he ends up getting far worse corrupt than if he had just followed in his father's footsteps. I see where you're coming from with the similarities in the films. They're both about men who idolized a father figure and tried to emulate them, but failed to really grasp what they were all about. Martin doesn't comprehend that he had no surgical skills so there is no hope that he can equal to, much less outshine, Dr. Helter. Michael Corleone keeps trying to go straight like his father was hoping for, but rather than doing what he needs to to get what he wants, he goes full blown Scarface and just starts going after anyone that doesn't see things his way. His brutality keeps him from having loyal follower like his father had and allows him to make more and more mistakes because he doesn't want to hear anything but his own opinions. I've gone on the record with the fact that I like Human Centipede 3 better than 2. It's just so bad it's good. Godfather 2 is still a good film. I wouldn't go with the flow and say it's superior to the first one. But it's definitely better than the third one. Looking forward to your comparison and contrasts with the third films in each of this series. Interested in seeing which direction you'll go with it. Have an awesome day!

14:25 *hmhm* human centipide 2 is a little more complicated than the Godfather II. Btw. please comment your own uploads, so folks can discuss stuff immediately 🖤
The (only) sequel I’ve been waiting for!
Goodness. I hope it didn't disappoint.
@@GirlBehindTheCounter this could never in a million seconds disappoint me
Oh Snake Plisken, I didn’t figure that out, thought you were being the girl from They Call Her One Eye
Another cool (but more niche) entry.
Directed by Bergman’s AD

Thank you! This is what RUclips is for, the most unhinged film discourse presented by a woman who only "sort of" knows what she's talking about.
Awesome 😊
Thanks 🤗
