I’m loving your explanations , so clear and great ideas . Regarding shawl collars , when I’ve wanted that soft drape you mentioned and didn’t want to use interfacing I have used the same fabric as the blouse fabric cut on the bias , as the interfacing . It will have the same drape as the original fabric and give it body and the drapiness you wanted .
All the projects are just gorgeous! I admire the way how you create new patterns from scratch, I see a lot of experience and creativity.. The blouses fit you perfectly and look very elegant. Bravo!🤗😘
Oh my!!! I love them ALL! The collar on the red is really cute. I've found that I don't like plain round necklines on myself, and that would be perfect for me. I don't know that I'm experienced enough though to make it look good. I always love Liberty, so that one is really nice with the shawl type collar.
I love how you approach your sewing... Its given me alot to think about... Rather than admiring my fabric stash... Just start making and see where it takes me ❤
This was so fun to watch! I especially love the neckline of the red one, and I think a few buttons like the inspo photo in the top up haul video would look so nice!
Hen I run into a naughty item, I just quit and sleep on it a few days till inspiration hits. I like the adjusted neckline and it looks so much better with only 2 backdarts.
The light red cotton is the least flattering neckline on you, all the others are quite lovely. I watched the video of the entire capsule wardrobe and every time that blouse was in the combo, I noticed it.
Very nice. I would love to see a retrospective of how well you did with your 6 Cs. Did all your necklines and sleeves work with the jackets? Were there things you would do differently? I'm not on instagram so I haven't seen your outfits. A retrospective would give you an opportunity to include a slide show here.
What dress pattern are you wearing? I like your collar that it has a softer look than the standard pointy collar. Lovely but it looks like you look nice in a lot of things.
Thank you 😊 It is actually a clone I made of a Laura Ashley dress that I had for many years. it eventually fell apart so I made a pattern from it and remade it!

Thank you, that's a very good tip 😊 I'll try that!

Thank you 😊 It's all a bit of an experiment really but that's the fun!

Thank you 😊 Yes, you have to figure out what looks good on you, what you like etc. 😁

Thank you 😊

Yes, me too! Thank you 😊
I always use interfacing in collars, but I use lightweight iron on knit.
That's a thought 🤔
Love your blouses, so simple and stylish. I have really enjoyed your making of your holiday wardrobe. Good to hear you had a wonderful holiday!
Thank you 😊 Yes, we had a wonderful time 😁
Loved them all but the flower top really stood out for me! I love dressing with a person/aesthetic in mind so I enjoy your naming system!
Thank you 😊
I also love all of them, I think the fabric pattern on the rayon one suits you really well, it looks lovely
Thank you 😊
❤
Thank you 😊
Lovely, missed your videos 😊
Krásné, moc krásné.
beautiful, very beautiful🙂
Thanks for the comment 😊
when close fitting it is better to use safety pins rather than pins. They don't come undone, don't scratch and are easier to adjust.
Thanks for the tip! I'll try that next time 😊

Thank you 😊 Yes, agreed, but it was very useful! Check out my latest video - it's the 'review' video 😁

Yes, that's my plan! It's coming soon! 😊
I love what you wearing . Did you draft it yourself ?
Thank you 😊 All of the items are mash-ups of different commercial patterns with a bit of drafting added in 😁

It looks amazing on you :)

Thank you. Did you make your skirt? If so could you give us the pattern # or did you self draft?
I love the shirtdress you are wearing if you made that what is the pattern?
