It seems that everyone feels that premixing the fuel is better than the pump. The oil pump is much more proportional with changes in throttle position.
I've run 2 stroke dirt bikes since the late seventies. I will grant you that back in the day the pump ran off of the transmission so idling meant NO oil so hardly anyone I knew ran the pump if it was installed so maybe today they are better but I know if I pre-mixed the fuel the engine was getting oil, For this reason, I will continue to premix fuel and oil. Just my thoughts to each their own. I have also forgotten to add oil to the little tank...that ain't pretty.
@@marvinwegner6119 exactly how are you working out this logic? What exactly does a carburetor do? The fuel delivery increases with rpms, therefore the pre-mix oil also increases with rpms... at *exactly* the same proportion. These pumps are unreliable, and usually too rich. Pre-mix is definitely the way to go, if you're down for the hassle.
If the vehicle is new, then the oiler is usually the best route. Once they get older, the oiler can become less efficient or even stop working without you knowing. It is a valid choice to shut off the oiler if it becomes unpredictable. Better to know your engine is getting some oil as opposed to finding out the hard was that it wasn't.
@@mattmanyam The oiler is driven off the crankshaft is directly proportional to engine rpm. Great video. Lots of information but also so much fun was had! Brilliant!
Dang I'm lucky this morning mustie uploaded right as sat down with my coffee ...gonna be a good day
Impressed that your RUclips success and “moving on up to the deluxe apartment in the sky” hasn’t altered your content output. Some other RUclips “big guns” could learn a lot from you. Thanks for what you do - your Vijayo’s are great!
good cheap fun! that will make some kid really happy and i don't mean just you mustie XD
Another great talk Mustie. Enjoy your banter and style. I was impressed with the cake pan you used when you took the carb apart. I bought a bunch at a yard sale years ago and they sure do come in handy for working on things with small parts. Thanks as always for sharing with us all.
it sure has a lot of power for 50cc. see you next sunday.
Great video as always ..thank you for sharing .
"The 10 y/o girl that made it...." - LOL
Hey Mustie, great video as always. Seeing you play around with your new toy cheered me up. Thanks a ton!
Have you seen my brownie baking pan? Nope, haven't seen it.
Sir, the reason I pulled you over is that you are too old to have this much fun! LOL Thanks for making us smile, Mustie!!!!
Man, that area around your new shop is perfect for you. It’s like you designed it specifically for your needs.
At last! Now we know what became of the terraforming probe from the NCC 1701D crashsight. Mustie1 salvaged it!
Powerful little thing. Those were about the best "cheap" quads on the market in terms of reliability, still no match for a Name Brand. Ive been looking for one for my daughter, anything in this area is 400 (not running) to 2.1k. Love the videos, no over detailed explanation of what things are, just tear down, small hints of general cleaning, maintenance and repairs. Really enjoy watching. I was laughing hard when you drove it into the shop!
yes a mustie video and some coffee what a great start to my birthday
Happy Birthday!
Yes! Happy b-day!
Congratz
thank you!
everyone lol i much appreciate it
You look like you were having a blast on it runs great i had one yrs ago they are fun for adults and kids wish I still had it
Great job on this project. Only thing I was concerned with was all that carbon monoxide smoke aimed at Lilly.
shop has a power vent, she was below the smoke and l moved her after turning the camera off
Awesom video man...I recently got a 110cc four wheeler and the seller wanted $75 so I baught it...they couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start so I got home and started looking over it and problem 1 no connection to batter 2 no fuel 3 bad carb...so I got it running and actually gave it back to the parents son...I could tell he was upset it got sold and when I gave it back for free they said for your kindness they gave me $200
'Looks like someone was tickling it with a feather. Or ran over a chicken.' ROFL!
Beautiful waterfall! For some reason I want to go fishing! The bridge is purdy too. As for the ATV, you're having too much fun for $87! Thanks as always for the entertainment.
For some reason I'm having flashbacks to a bear riding a tricycle on the Ed Sullivan show
before my time, I'm sure I seen a rerun of it in the 80's
Great video with awesome parting shots. Thanks Mustie !
