This broke my heart as Jovi's behaviour reminded me of my Katy. My friend had been approached by Katy several times in his front garden. She had obviously been abandoned during a snowy period, as well as abused. I agreed to take her in as I was already offering end of life care to several animals, and, to be honest I felt that she would probably only last hours. I had to give her a shower, she was so dirty that the first water flowing off her was black. She obviously loved being warm, and after drying she took herself to my bed, curled on a blanket close to the radiator and slept for the next 48 hours. She didn't even wake when I went to bed. To my surprise she got stronger, but she too hid her face just like Jovi. When I took her to the vet, there was evidence that she had been kicked repeatedly, including her head. The vet was, unfortunately, correct that she had brain damage, and she suffered major mood swings, during one of which I was so badly bitten I needed hospital treatment. I've had her 3 years now. She is gorgeous, sometimes loving, often moody, but then she is a cat after all. She is in charge of the house, and, no matter how much he tries, my Toby is still totally controlled by her, just as I am.

Reminds me of the time when my own cat as a kitten being terrified of going to the vet. Kept burying his head in my arm and meowing sadly. Fortunately, he is now a happy kitty and is the protective big bro of another cat I adopted.

I would be the King of foster fails. I could just not give them up. I fall completely head over heels in love with them and that's the end of the story. LOL
Jovi and the lady's other striped cat are so gorgeous, I luv their markings and color. Thank goodness he had loving foster mom and new dad.🖤🖤🖤

Oh my gosh. I Never could've parted with that baby 💖💖💖
Thank you for rescuing Jovi and giving him the time and space to come out of his fear. Thank you for all you do as a foster mom
What a beautiful gorgeous cat!🥰🐈⬛🥰
Jovi has been through so much. There's a reason for everything. Bless you so much. He deserves every good thing that can be given to him. I love him ❤
Please see my RUclips💕💕💕
God bless the lady pls surprise the kitty in his new home check on him💖
When an elderly pet owner passes away often the pets shut down like this and grieve .
I think he is not a shy cat, but the cat who lost his trust in everything.. Glad this human can get his trust back. Bless you two.. X)
Thank you, foster mom of Jovi, for helping him to melt, loosen up. How traumatized animals can be, at times. It's maybe not always easy to let go of animals that you've been with, moving through such experiences, connecting with them, loving them.
So sad but a great result. I’m sure that cat will be forever grateful and by your side.
All animals have the ability to feel emotional pain and despair. God bless you for showing him what real love is
He looks just like my cat Willie and I want to say you are a beautiful person for taken jovi loving him God bless
Awww just beautiful that he broke out of the shell he was hiding in. He’s gorgeous.
Awwwww sweet reward. I would’ve liked to of seen more video at his new home
Reminds me of the time when my own cat as a kitten being terrified of going to the vet. Kept burying his head in my arm and meowing sadly. Fortunately, he is now a happy kitty and is the protective big bro of another cat I adopted.
Cats , they're not animals, they are cat-people

A very soothing voice certainly helped!! :)
Jovi is a sweet story about how shy but really loving cats can be. It makes felines so much more intriguing to me than dogs. I adore cats!
Heartbreaking to see him so shut down.....but then a happy ending!
He's gorgeous. I have a male tabby just like him.
He's a beautiful cat
This beautiful cat was either abused or was terribly homesick after being given up by it's previous owners. Hopefully this will never happen again.
So sad 😞
I had a bermen, he so a baby . I had to give to my niece . As hospital reasons he was that sad mm.
His eyes are Huge!
😢❤️ my cat Milkshake, hides her face when she's scared too
I want to see hour long features on a dog's journey. These videos really make me smile.
Aw 🥺
You first
Yeah
So many animals need this. A shelter is such a stressful situation for animals. Most do a great job at giving animals a second chance but it doesn't change that stress factor for them
Thank you for loving Jovi. It breaks my heart to see an animal like this, even for a short while. We love our kitties!! Omar's ginger cat looks like our Gingy!!
He is a beautiful cat :)
So cute 😍
Please see my RUclips💕🌈
😭😭😭 Jovi is adorable!!! 💖💖💖💖😻
People who foster these animals are phenomenon for giving these pets a second chance in life. 😻😻😻
You are such a sweet and loving foster-mom. Thank you so much‼ And love to the sweet tiger‼
So wonderful to see the love and care given by these foster moms/dads for these cats.
Ι love fostering animals!!!
Can I just say? We see the miracle of Fostering. If he stayed at the shelter he would have been against that wall forever, I can garuntee that. And he would have probably been euthanized. I hate it, but that's the reality of the situation.
But because this amazing woman decided to take him in, foster him, show him love, and then allow him to find a home... this is why we need more foster homes.
Someone must have been so cruel to this poor Kitty! I'm so happy that you came along. I'm so choked up. God bless all those people that care for Animals children and the elderly.
If Jovi was a lady cat, her name would have been Sophia Loren with those eyes.
He has a beautiful face.
Thank you! Being Italian I love yr comment!! 🇮🇹😘
