i lost my mom Feb 2022 and so I understand. its been absolute hell. if anyone reading this still has their mommas, hug them tight. thankfully i had a phenomenal momma, we were best friends, talked everyday of my entire 34 yrs of life.. she had MS for 32 years and was 60 when she passed. Looke like this our first mothers day without our Mommys, ill be thinking of you Melissa and sending happy thoughts your way🤍 Our Mommas will be with us
I recently lost my mom at 23 and this will be my 1st Mother’s Day without her. I find comfort in seeing mothers with their daughters. Congrats to you both. 💗

As someone who had a rough relationship with their mother, this entire video had me sobbing. I am sad that I don’t have that kind of relationship with my mom but seeing the love you two have together is so amazing. I’m very close with my grandma and I’m so thankful for her and also for all the wonderful mothers out there❤️

Girl... you're not alone! Sadly, I'm NOT close with my mother either. She & I were NEVER close! She ALWAYS pushed me to the side & chose her then boyfriend & her then husband who was a VERY toxic & abusive alcoholic over me! She was always mean & very rude to me. The only friends I had growing up was my 23 lb. cat that I ran to, held & bawled too cuz I could never run to my mother as bad as I wanted to esp when I was very little! I hated it! I always felt so lonely & had become a VERY depressed child. But because of that, God gifted me 4 beautiful baby girls, ptheossibly 5 (currently pregnant) & I have most AMAZING relationships with them all! It feels SO good giving all my love to my girls & letting them feel & have what I prayed for all of my childhood! I all to this day don't have a relationship with my mother & we actually don't even talk or see one another at all. So seeing this video made my heart melt cuz Jaclyn is EXTREMELY blessed to have a mother like hers & it made me bawl my eyes out!! So yes... I TOTALLY feel you girl!!! It sucks & it scares us for the rest of our lives.... at lady or does me cuz every girl should have that special bone worth their mother!!

When your mom mentioned those whose moms are not here anymore.. I lost it. My mom passed away when I was 12 and to this day(I'm 28) it is still the hardest thing to overcome and Mothers day hurts so badly. There is nothing like a mothers love and I'd truly do anything to have her here with me. I love to see the relationship you and your mother have, it really is so beautiful

I see other people with this kind of relationship with their mothers and I just hope it’s that way with my future child. My mom and I are not like this. In so many ways I was damaged by some of the things she’s said and done. I’m glad other people can experience a good relationship so it gives me hope that it actually exists. I lost my mom 3 years ago too. She was only 67. I was so thankful and appreciative when Jaclyn's mom brought this up. A lot of people forget how hard it is for those of us who don't celebrate mother's day. Also a shout out to the ones struggling with infertility that want to be a mom so badly. I get it. I lost my mom in 07 and today made 15 years and sometimes it feels even harder as time goes on cuz she’s missing so much. She never even got to meet my husband. I lost my momma in august 2020 & I struggle so hard daily but especially on days like Mother’s Day & even seeing other people with their moms is hard. Cherish your time with your mom every one cause there is nothing more beautiful & powerful in this world than a mother’s love & when they are physically not here anymore you don’t wanna have the regret of not showing love & gratefulness for all they give up & do so that their children can have it all & live their dreams. Beautiful collection. I lost my mom when just 4 weeks after my husband's sudden death, she was diagnosed with terminal cancer when she was only 61. She died months later. I was so out of it, losing my husband of 23 years, having 5 kids who were grieving, I feel like I lost her last days. We were all in such a fog with shock and grief. Savor ever day. ❤

It breaks my heart seeing soo many here sharing the recent loss of their momma’s!!! 😭🥺😭 Last January, I went to wake my mother up…I usually would run my hands through her hair and calmly say, “wakey-wakey Nana.” She lived with my two little girls and I. I touched her head and instantly pulled away. Suddenly, shock, disbelief, confusion…just utterly indescribable and overwhelming emotions overtook me in an instant. She was ICE COLD…all I remember is collapsing to my knees wailing out, “momma!!” as I emotionally lost it. My girls were traumatized just by watching their momma, THEIR pillar of strength and safety, fall apart in such a gut-wrenchingly raw mess, let alone also realizing their Nana was dead. It was certainly the worse day of my life…while it’s gotten a little easier with time, or at least not such a constant raw, open wound, I’m tormented regularly with flashbacks and nightmares of the moment I felt her cold, lifeless body and more emotions than I’ve ever felt, all ran through me seemingly all at once. It still doesn’t feel real, over a year later…
Cherish your moms ladies 💝 We all know the day will come eventually, but nothing can ever truly prepare you for it.

A little hard to watch, since my mom rejected my love at a very early age. Postpartum depression is a real thing and its hard in a world where everyone loves their mom so much. I'm really happy for you Jaclyn, and I know you're already super grateful. Just try to live in the moment as much as you can, because truly you've been super SUPER blessed with the mother you were given.
Same, we don't have a close relationship and I always wondered what it would feel like to have a mother who you can talk to, look up to and that supports you. I dont think ive hugged my mom in years.
