- Chemical and reagent preparation is very crucial for any test. We must prepare chemicals and reagents to get the accurate test results. This video represents a complete procedure for the preparation and standardization of 0.1N sodium hydroxide solution. __________________________________________________________________________________________

Sir what ml of HCL we should take for 1N NAOH, and how many drops of phnolpthaleine indicator
Great
Thanks
Superb
Thank you
SHARING THE VIDEO, THANKS
You are welcome
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
This was so useful tyy
Thanks
Is there possible to final reading is hier then initial reading????
Because if supposed we start a titration from 20 ml and add NaoH in the flask of Hcl then how can the reading is then the initial reading
Reading is below to the 20 ml for final reading...
Plz explain it
I'm full understanding & thank you so much
Thank you
great

Pls share how to calculate the purity of reagent. That's means Assay of NaOH is 98%
Purity = 40* 100/98 is ot correct?
Good
Thanks
I am. Not understand at the time of titration u have taken 20ml NaOh intiial but at final how it is goes 30.2ml ?? On titration it would reduce reading because drops going out in flask???
Please answer
The titration reading, at the initial stage, was 20ml. After completion of the titration, the reading was 30.2.
Burette scalling was that type that is increased the reading with time. So you need to subtract to find the actual volume which was 10.2 found in this video.
Tqq mam
You are most welcome
purpose of experment?
How to take the initial reading...please help me
Well explained, thank you so much.
I'm wondering about the reference if you can give it to me
No exact reference for this video. This is derived from the acid base neutralisation chemical reaction.
Pls make video ( KOH solubility).
Noted. We will work on it soon. Stay with us.
Hello is it the same procedure for preparation and standardization of 0.1N KOH?
Yes. Procedure is similar, except weight of KOH pellet.
@@MicroChemsExperiments what is the weight of KOH pellet in this procedure?
@@abdhjr4780 2.805g KOH for 500ml solution of 0.1N
@@MicroChemsExperimentshow did you calculate the weight?
Is this standardization procedure applicable for all chemicals..?
No. Only for NaOH
Please make the video of sulphur test for hexane (White petrol)
Noted. We will make. Stay with us.
Sir... 0.098 Normality ke NaoH solution ko 0.1 Normality karna hai to kitna gram NaoH dalna padega ... calculation karke bataye.....ya kisi aur ko pata ho to bataiye .. please
I think it is difficult to calculate.
Pottasium hydrogen pethlete using NaOH normality chek wrong or correct
You can standardize NaOH solution using potassium hydrogen phthalate and you can also use standard HCl solution
Can we use this in place of 0.1N NaOH solution??
Yes. You can.
You mentioned HCl but how prepared 0.1 N HCL?

Please check all of our videos.
Explain the initial value 20,NaoH is titrate through which chemical for standardization
Initial value was 20 because the burette reading was 20.0 when the titration just started. Take a look at the video - 3.42 min
How to check 0.02 h2so4 N preparation and standardization
Please make video on 0.1N Hclo4 strength

Please can you explain to me why you use 2g of phenol on 100 ethanol i found just 1g
It is just a indicator dye. Concentration can vary
Pls send the chemical equation
Reference of the method please ❤
Please explain about initial buret reading that is 20, How it is 20
Look at 3.44 time of this video. You could see the solution in the burette touches the label of 20. That's why the initial burette reading is 20.
Mam oxalic acid ka preparation batayiye
Noted.
what is the type of titration? pls answer asap thanks
Acid Base titration
Why 2g NaOH in 500 ml.
How to calculate the factor of normality?
We will make video for it later.
Hello maam can you do 0.01 N of NaOH thank you
Just dilute the NaOH solution 10 times more.
Hcl is also a secondary std solution. How did you standardise naoh with hcl?🤨
I don’t also get it but I think she means performing titration with HCl ( known concentration) to ascertain or confirm the concentration of NaOH Prepared.
Final burate reading 30 kaise ho gya
Look at the burette scale marking. After ending the titration, the solution in the burette is level with 30.2 marks of the burette scale
Hello, possible calculations, results and discussion for this experiment because I need it very much. I want it to write the report
Sorry we dont provide these types of stuff. Plzz do it by yourself.
Thank you.
Plz 0.1 N kmno4 video plzzz
Noted. We will make. Stay with us.
Why hcl is added.. Mam..
To neutralize the NaOH with acid
@@MicroChemsExperiments mam naoh is secondary std it shld b titrated against primary std why v did with hcl not like potassium hydrogen phthalate
@@lokeshhr8596 There will be no error for standardization of NaOH with HCl. We have been doing this standardization by this acid base reaction and found no problem with it.
Pls make a video using potassium hydrogen phthlate..and also the calculation
How to 0.1N HCl standard solution
ruclips.net/video/lXzAB8woAd8/видео.html
Standardise NaOH against oxalic acid which is a primary standard
You are right.
@@MicroChemsExperiments your videos are wonderful

How about alkali standardization with potassium hydrogen pethelet?
Volumetric pipette of 10 ml should be used ad it is more accurate. Hcl is somewhat volatile and tends to loose concentration even slightly. And finally, before performing standardization you must treat the NaOH with few drops of barium chloride in order to remove carbonates which are always present. Solution must then be filtered and standardized
Initial reading = 20 ml ???????
Yes
10 N how to prepared
Add 10 times more NaOH pellet
Your normality is 0.098 how can assure that it is 0.1N??
Use this solution as 0.098N. Not 0.1N
Ma'am ham logon ka End point 16 aaya tha
Now calculate to know the exact concentration
