Its been 4 years since this video was made... Wondering if theres been any changes due chemical fumes during the tissue processing (that blue mask doesnt protect you for chemicals like xylene and alcohol fumes. You still risk your health for lung damaging and cancer). Second stage, cutting slides with a water bath full with contaminations... Is this lab really for diagnositc or students? Last.. those chemicals at the window. Is that picric acid? That yellow fluid is explosive... Please contact for safety and health protocols... 🙏🏻
Does histochoice need the same special mask as Xylene? Are alcohol/ethanol fumes dangerous to inhale when changing the baths? I'm a student and I would like to know if you could share your references. Thank you very much!
Cloth masks offer ZERO protection. Even with activated carbon filter masks the lab work area needs to have fume hoods savaging the lab air. Not sure which state this lab is in but in CA they would have to meet strict air quality and exposure guidelines.

So nice presentation of tissue processing..
Please clean that waterbath ... the carryover must be on another level >.
Thank you for sharing 🌟 really helpful
U r the best thank u
Thank you for sharing!
Great information
So cool
Can you please upload the tissue staining with Haematoxylin and eosin
Thank you 🙏
Nice video
شوف مختبراتهم شلون نظيفة ومرتبة،ومتوفر كُلشي بيهة،مثل مختبراتنة التعبانة!!!
is there another title called for clearing part ? such as filteration
💛💛💛
I use forceps when transferring the tissue from the cassette to the mold...seems like using a needle could damage the tissue.
thank you
Cool...!
Thanks
Lumayan namnah viewer, anak poltekkes😀
very nice

Wow
Thx~
Why didn't you paste the sample title on the slide 🌚💔

guess its all automated into a machine
I have to change xylene and ethanol reagents all day long with mask on
And you can really smell it. I didn’t know it damages lungs?
I also put the containers in water and bleach
And then the smell gets super strong

can we isolate RNA from formalin fixed but not embedded with paraffin tissue sample
As far as I know, you can’t. Once it’s fixed in formalin, RNA cannot be recovered. To recover RNA, the tissue should be stored in RNAlater.
You can
Why is he using a syringe for microtomy and embedding ? Please don’t do this!!! Also, that water bath 🤢
2:21 what you mean about missable
Am I the only one watching these videos to critique other peoples microtomy technique?
yes
yes
No :]
Even you're so good you're aren't supposed to critique anybody. It's a learning process. Chill 😂
Yes
why this process is performed on tissues????
Yikes the contamination on that waterbath must be HORRIBLE
Pathology
how to prepaireed 70% formaline plz told me
and how to prepaired the 100% lysis buffer
and how to prepaired the buffer solution
kindly told me
🌚
i do not know! 🌚
I am studying a first stage of analyzes so I will not know😭🌚
70% x 100ml/ 37 (formalin contain. Look at labeled bottle formalin. I am using 37 formalin)
C1V1=C2V2
Concentration of solution 1 = C1
V1 = X (how much of this you need to use), solve for X
Concentration desired = C2
Final volume desired = V2
Why microtome is located on this way? Why are you using syringe , it is dangerous? Contaminated water in waterbath. But ok for me.
Clean your equipment and lab
