Just a tip. If you wrap your spinach, kale, baby greens, etc. with a couple sheets of paper towels in those plastic containers they will last almost twice a long because the paper towels absorb the moisture that makes them wilt.
I absolutely love all of your videos! I remember when you were pinksofoxy!
Been patiently waiting! Thanks for another great vid!
Thank you Christine! Your smoothies are magic. My teens are finally getting their fruits and vegetables. Amazing.
Blueberries for 48 cents? That pack would be 4 dollars where I live.
not organic, nor the strawberries, so very cheap in the us
Oh my gosh, I'm learning so much. I'm doing this. Hubby says he wants vegan with fish, I can do that. You're really helping me see the day to day steps, it's helping me to see that I can do this too. Very excited! I can give updates as we progress.
Perfect thing to wake up to on the weekend.... a new video from Christine ! 👍🏼
Thank you for this vlog! Do you feel a change in your mental and physical body?
I was waiting for this!! 😍😍😍
Everything looks so good & refreshing!
I bought that cheese knife and love it. Finally a good sharp edge. And bought the nori rolls from amazon, great subtle favor. Thank you so much!!!!!
I’m loving these videos! They are super helpful and have given me some fresh ideas and motivation to crank up my veggie intake!
Thank you, Christine!
I love simple quick recipes because I don't like cooking or meal prep. Thank you. :)
I love these videos! Please make some more !
Thank you for your series. I have been raw vegan in the past and been in fabulous health. This winter I have been eating cooked food. I have puffed up. I had just decided to choose raw when I found your channel. Used to live in Tucson close to Rincon Market. Miss the desert. Now in Vermont. Thank you again!
Love this series. I’ve started using chronometer
Great ideas, tastes and creativity in the kitchen...you have such a strong understanding now of what nutrients are in each food.....impressive how much you have learned during this process....love Cronometer....Big Hugs ..I did not know about black strap molasses and iron.....I shall pick some up...:-)..you are such a darling girl....
Thank you! I have to get on the cronometer. I have to track my husband’s protein, sodium, potassium and phosphorus amounts. He has kidney failure and we are doing a strict renal diet which is vegan. I never knew how easy it is to damage your kidneys. ❤️ your kidneys! Eat plant based!
I cannot eat rice either and I tried them without the rice like your rolls and they are great! Thank you! :) I love these videos.
Another nice vid!! I'll be making Nori wraps later today....... need to make a run to Sprouts though!! Haha! Thanks for all the great tips, ideas.....this is a great series and it's nice to see you posting often!! 🥰💯
I love your videos, Saludos desde Baja California, Mexico!❤❤
Goodness... We probably bought the blueberries at the same Sprouts on Oracle Rd... or maybe on Orange Grove LOL.
Great weather this weekend in Tucson.
Love the video.
I’ve really been enjoying this series! I eat very similarly to you, so it’s great to get some new idea. Especially loving the red cabbage tacos from an earlier video😋
Christine, thank you for this video series. You are showing us that eating healthy can be easy and delicious and beautiful to the eye. Prepping and basic recipes are time savers. Knowing which veg/fruits have the highest nutrients is a matter of studying and learning and applying knowledge. Could you share some of the resources, books etc. that you have used?
Thanks for sharing the chronometer.com website (it auto corrected for me), it is very helpful!!! I would like to know if you could share what time you have your breakfast and other meals and snacks.
I rarely seem to get more than 80% of my targets so these vids have been really helpful.
Just got around to watch this. I've missed you!
If you don’t mind me asking, how much do you spend on your groceries per week?
Yes I was wondering the same
It's surprises me how much money I save by going vegan a few years ago. My grocery cost was cut in half. It's amazing how cheap it is when you stick to the outside aisles/produce section. You're always so satiated also. My dream is to go raw vegan at least 80/20. Then I'd really be saving! It's just hard to fully commit to having to prepare every single thing.
Yesssss!!!
What is the property of hearts of palms? What is it good for?
I think you are just amazing!thank you for not being one of those stupid people who film at the gym! Don’t forget to eat more protein!!! I really love hemp protein powder and beans! You are beautiful and stay true to you’re self and thank you for convincing me to eat healthy and know what’s in my food!you are so inspiring xo
Thanks so much for these videos. It helps so much. 💕💕💕
Thank you for this vlog! Do you feel a physical and mental change in yourself?
Sweet potato looked awesome
Ha! I’ve been watching for a bit and wondered what garbanzo beans were! 🤔. I thought I gotta get me some! ...After googling I found they are Chick Peas where I come from! 👍🏻 Love them!
Hello! I have been meaning to mention nut milk bags to you regarding celery juicing. I know that you are saving for a juicer... I have both a juicer and a Vita-Mix. I have found that blending a "head" of celery in the Vita-Mix(w/1/8-1/4 cup of water) and straining it through a nut milk bag, it is way more beneficial. Leaves way less waste (palm size amount of "pulp") and is much easier to clean. Juicers can take quite a bit to clean. Milk Nut bags are very cheap ($10.00). :)
Have you ever thought about spreading out the avocado and putting the hummus spread on first to make your wraps softer and easier to cut?
Interesting, those seaweed rolls look interesting. Been wanting to try those for a while. Kristine can you tell me what those seaweed wraps taste like.
Do I have to log everything in by hand
You’ve had that knife for quite a long time now and it seems sharp as new where did you buy it ?
Curious if you base your macro percentages on what is native in the chronometer program or did you customize? Also do you have paid version of chronometer? I’ve been using the free version but it looks less comprehensive. Thx!
Why not use chick peas instead of garbanzo beans for humus? Are the G beans lower in fat? Is it just a preference?
Thanks so much for sharing. I'm wanting to try some of these recopies out. They look so good.
Great to see this in my feed! I’m still struggling with getting the balance right to hit all targets in Cronometer, I’ll look for that book you have on your desk and do you recommend any others? Xxx
What book was that?
I was wondering whats a good alternative for dandelion greens? Cause I cannot find them where I live
What’s the knife you always use ?? 💕💕
Hello, which video do you have your hummus spread recipe in?
I was curios to what times u actually ate, is it depending on how full u get frm the food? Or does it typically range around the same time? Thank u, blessings!
Can you do a video on how you make your hummus?
Love ur vids, is there a really big diff between a blender or a juicer r the nutritional value the same?
With a juicer you dont consume non soluble fiber :)
Just a simple question ? Here in France we drink from a glass , why is she drinking out of jar that we use here late summer to make preserves
We just always drink out of Mason jars. Yes, the same jars used for preserves. I don’t know why but that’s what we do. Plus, the smoothies we make are about 28-40 ounces so a jar holds more than a glass.
Can you share what books you've read through this journey? I’m already vegan but I know my diet could be cleaned up more.
Does the nori have any flavor? I have hesitated buying it for fear it's too fishy or salty. But have never tried it.
Tracy Patterson I have the same one Christine has. It does have a strong fishy flavor unfortunately. I guess the secret to avoiding the flavor is to practice wrapping it really tight around the filling to avoid too much of the nori. Also, eating a roll right after making it keeps it a little fresher than letting it sit for longer. Hope this helps :)
What about Choline? I am always low in Choline ❤️
Hello , what app or site is that ? must be great to see the breakdown.
It's the Cronometer app! 🥰
I had green smoothie this morning. I found it bitter. I drank it but I didn’t enjoy it all that much.
Not sure what you used, maybe try 4 stalks celery, 1 baby carrot, 1 grape tomato and 1 whole pink lady apple and about a quarter of a lemon. Add your water level as you like it. 😋
joannecpenner try adding apples or pineapple. Really makes a difference in a green smoothie.
Do you also supplement vitamin D? And can you please show Vitamin E and K next time? I struggle with those! Thanks!
Great idea to replace the rice in the sushi roll with cucumber noodles. Going to give that a try. Absolutely loving this series you're doing, thank you for sharing. X
Why do u never eat normal potato .. like baked or steamed?
I want to pick up some hearts of palm but am having a hard time finding them. My costco in Washington doesn't carry them, nor Trader Joe's. Any other spots that tend to sell them?
@Kit & Caboodles thanks I'll check mine out!
Hello. Can you please tell me What's the name of the blender your using?!
It's a Vitamix blender! :)
Thank you, and thank you for the videos
I miss your shopping videos and hicking !!
Can I come live with you thanks
Can I ask what you do to burn 1931 calories in a day?
You’ve probably mentioned this in the past but why do you not eat carrots?
Hi Christine, I'm looking for a natural deodorant and was wondering if you know of a good one. I enjoy your videos and think you and Michael are so sweet. Thank you. Peace in Christ Jesus! Terri
How long do you bake your sweet potatoes and at what temperature? Mine almost always come out a little too hard inside!
Have you tried drinking alkaline water? (8-9Ph) Super healthy you! 💛✨
If your water can affect the pH of your body you must be on death's door. The hydrochloric acid in your stomach is not affected by alkaline water. Educate yourself and don't fall for "healthy" marketing ploys.
@@grrt722 Oh, shut up. You don'rt know shit about clean water.
@@etherealmoontarot3230 OK sure not that I work in a hospital or anything. It is an wildlife rescue hospital, but tell me how many lives you've affected with your energy healing lmao
asdf asdf just go do some research please! 😂
fruits r so yummy but they’re really not good for us
Do u have hypothyroidism
thanks for sharing your healthy eating. its one thing to share what your eating ,but to suggest health requirements for others is a different thing since you arent actually a nutritionist ,for example suggesting a woman whos iron deficient supplement her requirements with a hand full of dandelion leaves is careless on your behalf, you would need at least 100gm to get to just 20%of daily iron requirements !! i know your only promoting what you eat, but be mindful that young girls who may want to become veganmaybe watching your channel and may think your diet is healthy and in many ways it isnt (for everyone)
I thought that if you were trying to avoid or lower your glucose (stop from getting diabetes) that you should avoid carbs. I realize that you aren't eating "normal carbs" like bread, rice and regular potatoes. Also, I know you do yoga and you mention you and Michael go to the gym. How often - daily? And is this the only type of exercise you get? The food you make always looks so good. I would love to be able to have someone shop and prepare it for me! We just got a Sprouts where I live in California but everyone says it's expensive. I haven't been yet.
sadiejosiemom interesting they never show that they actually go to the gym. I'm beginning to think this is all a bunch of BS. I feel she is obsessing again. It's too bad she really doesn't know what she's doing regarding eating healthy.
Sprouts is actually very cheap for produce if not one of the cheapest. And complex carbs like the ones she eats do not cause diabetes. Complex carbs and obesity do. Many people think obesity means being 500lbs But You could be just a couple pounds over your BMI & be close to obesity.
Gigi 99 How is being healthy obsessing ?
Mandy C if you've watched pinksofoxy for the last 10 years you would know what I'm talking about. I not going to bother explaining.
@Sophia Dimino Thanks!
wow talk about OBSCESSED! You have taken this to a scary level. you do not look healthy at all.
Juliette Raines And all these over weight ppl look healthier? Because this is rarely seen it can seem like it’s obsessive.
Juliette Raines you have to realize we only see what she uploads , and you tubers have to create a little drama on their videos to keep subscribers interested , that and I personally think she’s a bit of a drama queen 🤷♀️
this woman is off kilter. it's scary how she is oblivious to how mal nourished she appears. she blithely unaware the damage she is doing to her body. It's all about being thin to her. SAD.
