    Funny how the same “concerned” naysayers come back to every video. As if she’s going to change for some random people on the internet 😂👌 It’s pretty obvious she could care less what anyone thinks. Especially since she doesn’t delete comments, or even mention anything about it. She’s so unbothered and I love it.

      I think she has a lot of variety in what she eats. Yes it’s all plant based but she switches up the fruits & veggies quite a bit. I mean, a lot of people eat a bowl of cereal breakfast everyday, or a sandwich everyday... don’t see how this is much different.

    • @supermadisonly
      @supermadisonly 5 лет назад +1

      So nutritionally it is always better to have them raw, when cooking you break down proteins and make it so you do not absorb as many of the nutrients because they are broken down as well. In smoothies or salads are better for you because you have a higher chance of getting more nutrients absorbed but it also depends on he freshness of the vegetables and other factors whether you’re getting all the nutrients that the vegetables are supposed to have in them. Surprisingly most frozen vegetables have a higher nutrient value than the “fresh” from the store because they are frozen after being harvested while “fresh” are transported for sometimes long periods of time before getting to the store and then to you cooking them. Just thought I’d share a little info!

    1920% Vit C!!!!!!! Christine is that safe???

    • @EarthlyBeauty
      @EarthlyBeauty 5 лет назад +1

      Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin, any excess vitamin C that the body doesn't use is excreted through the urine, so there is no risk of overdose even if you are taking high dosages 😊

    • @OfftoShambala
      @OfftoShambala 5 лет назад

      Excess c is flushed out of the body every several hours... high doses of c ... like 50 grams to 80 grams can be taken safely for people with polio, Lyme disease, most vaccine preventable diseases, heart conditions etc... no danger posed ... if you do have too much c, you might get loose stools... so if this persists, you would cut back on c... some doctors who study c, have suggested that most adults need around 3000 mg to 6000 mg per day... but if you are healthy and consuming 800 mg to 1200 mg per day, throughout the day from food sources, that’s sufficient... I currently take 1000 mg tablet supplement with meals usually 3 times a day mostly because I need major healing... but after I return to health, I will probably only supplement if I feel like I’m coming down with something... at any rate, I recommend you check out presentations here on yt by dr humphries and dr levy... c is NOT dangerous

    I’d like to shed some light for a lot of people with the negative comment of “that’s too much sugar in a day” among other things.
    A lot of you seem to not have a huge understanding of nutrition I think and go based off the idea sugar is inherently bad and never good. Natural sugars are better for you because they don’t cause the glucose spikes in your body that other processed sugars do. Why? They don’t because they have the addition of natural plant based fiber that keeps you from absorbing as much sugar at once! Fiber is wonderful and rich in Christine’s diet and helps with not absorbing as much sugar but also helps to absorb more nutrients because it takes longer for your body to digest fiber rich foods.
    Do not judge others diets as wrong for her just because you feel you know everything, nutrition and how you go about it is a very personal thing and between people what we eat will be very different so take what she does with a grain of salt and live your life.
    Love your videos Christine, wishing you the best!

      Some fruits do cause insane glucose and insulin spikes, comparable to processed sugar. Strawberries, watermelon, grapes, and even sweet potatoes are very high on the glycemic and insulin indexes. Especially watermelon and sweet potatoes. It's not always about the amount of sugar but the spike in insulin as well. That's just as important, specifically if you are trying to mitigate any potential for diabetes. For me personally, 200+ grams is too much in one day, regardless of where it comes from.

    • @OfftoShambala
      @OfftoShambala 5 лет назад +1

      I need to check again, but the proverbial they did a study on how much is the daily threshold for fruit before it is too much (dr Gregor on nutrition facts covered this) and the people in the study were having something like 24 servings of fruit per day with no spikes ... no problems. Maybe 25 servings is the threshold?

      Madison Dana I believe it differs from person to person. I personally cannot have even close to this much fruit. My stomach does not handle it. I would have a flair of candida and insulin issues. I wish I could eat fruit like this.
