9:48:Yes!! Oh my gosh, you’re so right about the energy and feeling happier! Once I started eating like this it’s like this dark, toxic cloud that was in me vanished! It’s truly amazing what clean diet can do. I’m so glad you’re reaping all the amazing benefits of it!
Hey Christine, it's been such a pleasure to watch your journey. However, on the topic of organic produce & budgeting I'm curious to know if you've considered growing some of your own produce? Rob Greenfield has a RUclips channel that is super inspiring that might be worth checking out. I've always enjoyed your plant videos and would be interested in seeing you experiment with growing your own food. Lots of love & support from Canada 😄 💚 As a holistic nutritionist student I appreciate the message your sending and encourage you to do some research on GMO foods and the effects of modern monoculture agriculture on your body as well as the planet 🌳🌱🌿😁
Christine, you are so good at growing succulents, what about starting an herb garden?!!! That could definitely save money! Plus I'm sure it would make for some great videos. :)
Your skin looks so good! And I know what you mean about the greens. I used only do fruit smoothies with just a greens powder but once I stated incorporating 1 green smoothie and a big salad into my day I noticed such a difference in my skin, gut, and energy!
Christine, I have no interest in becoming vegan, however I have added so many more fruits and vegetable into my daily meals from watching this video series! Good to hear that you are seeing benefits during this experiment. While all these greens may have made your skin softer it must also be giving you “thick skin” because you sure are getting your share of nasty negative comments. I don’t understand it, but I guess they think their opinion matters to you (or others) 🤷♀️ With that said, I am wondering about the pinto and black beans. Do you cook your own from dry or do you buy canned? Also, I bet you could grow beautiful container herb garden! (Especially mint, basil and cilantro).
I’m surprised with all your combined interests and knowledge of plants, that you haven’t began growing a garden! You can grow so much in pots as well if you’re worried about investing money into things you can take with you, if you move again.
I’d love to see the things you do to prolong the freshness of the produce you buy. I’ve loved watching your videos for years. I’m having to heal my body through fresh fruit and veg as I recently found out I have SIBO. These videos really provide inspiration for new meals and snacks to try 😊
Here's a tip for those cello boxes of salad greens...put a napkin or dry cloth on top of the greens, then refrigerate UPSIDE DOWN. The napkin will dampen (and darken) keeping the greens dry and fresh.
Has anyone been completely eating what Christine has been eating over the 17 days ?? Just out of curiousity.... it would be interesting to know how yall are going too if yall have noticed a difference in the way you feel/ appearance etc.. !! X.
Christine has trouble with oils. I use plenty of half and half olive oil and coconut oil. I can also eat nuts. That's a good way to go unless u have a problem with them.
I slept on sprouts for the longest. I assumed it was going to be expensive but my friend talked me into shopping there and no that’s the only place I go besides the farmers market. Super affordable organic produce.❤️
Thank you for sharing ! This is so inspiring! :)You both look great and I noticed a huge improvement in Michael's skin tone ! much healthier than 6 month ago ! I am incorporating healthy foods much more now and I feel the difference !
When you do a fruit and veg shop could you show us a receipt or go over some of the prices of produce you buy.. i think it would be helpful for people trying to stick within a grocery budget while still able to afford fresh produce. Thanks :)
Your food is beautiful... i would love to see more food videos. You might think its boring and always the same but I find your food videos very motivational.
The dollar tree has sun dried tomatoes without oil. You can also make em with a dehydrator. I would recommend a solar dehydrator with a window screen. You and Michael are good at DIYs and you have the sun for it
I was thinking that your taco needed a little bit of lime squeezed on it and I realize I don't think I've seen you use any citrus fruit. Is that intentional?
Christine you can find organic raw sun dried tomatoes without oil at The Raw Food World website. They are delicious and I use them all the time since I cannot have oils.
I’ve had a couple cups of spinach today and now I’m inspired to have more greens, I’ve been struggling with cystic acne for 10 years and I’m really trying to clean up my diet! Happy to see your healthy fats today with the avocados and extra protein with the beans 🤗
I've had the same problems in the past with acne. It's much better than before now. I learned that I'm super allergic to nuts (contains iodine) and I heard a lot of people are actually allergic to the hormones in dairy products -- and all these things cause cystic acne. Metro gel works great for occasional flare ups. I feel like these two things were definitely causing problems. Oh also check out if you are allergic to fluoride or sodium laurel sulfates/ sulfates. These things gave me a ton of problems too. It took me forever to find out it was causing huge cystic acne breakouts around my mouth and chin and also perioral dermatitis, no fun! Again, major allergies and once eliminated, problems have been very rare. Jason soap is a great and gentle shower gel and handsoap that I use. CVS, Shaws and wholefoods has it and it's much gentler than other soaps. Look for the "no sulfates" label on soap and shampoo. Just throwing this info out there in case it could help out anyone else reading this. Have a good day! :)
@@Sarah-xw2ff 2 of my kids avoid dairy. It gives them terrible cystic acne. You will see it all dry up in 3 days, then fade quickly after that, if u avoid dairy and /or nuts. Hadn't heard about the nuts, but lots of coworkers cleared their acne after seeing my daughter's amazing results from quitting dairy.
everytime...one tomato...you guys do not like tomatoes....that is for sure. and yes, in your garden you could grow so many herbs like basil, mint, oregano, rosmarin, salads all possible green stuff....you have the sun ...pls. make your own garden
Hi, do you ever have any digestive issues with eating all of the raw/hard-to-digest foods all day? Like beans, raw cabbage, onions, garlic, etc. those can be hard if your GI tract is sensitive. Especially raw broccoli is harder to digest than cooked. That’s my only concern
People think that organic produce is sooooo expensive, but if you're not buying any meat, then your budget can handle the good stuff. Anyhoo, it does appear that you have more clarity and that you're more attuned with Mother Earth. Thanks for the video! Informative and inspiring as usual!
It is frustrating because when organic was just taking off they polled consumers and asked everyone of they'd pay 10% more for organic. The answer was overwhelmingly Yes! But then they put organic up way more than 10% more than toxic conventional.. Conventional shouldn't even be legal because we shouldn't have to pay more just not to be poisoned. That said organic produce is cheap at Aldi, Kroger and some farmer's markets.
LONG TIME NO SEE YOU Christine I have a quick question I want to eat like this but like you put 4 bananas that’s a lot of carbs do you think eating like this will help me lose weight ?
I've been doing the food tracking. I keep the carbs to 60% or lower. Just choose mainly berries or melons for your fruit choices. I also sub in more vegies. Some fruits are just too sickeningly sweet for my pallet...like even the green kiwis, peaches..YIKES!...almost impossible to eat. Rather eat cuke, any day.
Have you checked out Nuts.com? I just received a crazy fast order and they also have all kinds of powders like blueberry and spirulina or chlorella. Not sponsored in any way, just thought about it while watching this.
Yay! I was just thinking about looking forward to your next video and there it was! You’re slowly convincing me to invest in a Vitamix 😉. Looking forward to seeing what you do with a juicer! Thank you for sharing your journey!
Hi Christine! I'm rewatching your healing with food series and I was wondering if you planned on doing a video with the results of your experiment over the last year. I really miss these videos. They help keep me on track. I hope you are well ♥️
Interesting dinner. When I was making my own green smoothies people would tell me all the time how good my skin looked. Really surprised me. But, it does work that way, obviously for me.
If you are still having issues here and there you may want to try cutting out tomatoes and other night shades. They can cause flare ups for those of us who do have digestive issues.
I also find fats just kill my stomach. Other things seem fine. After eating nuts it's like my stomach is on fire. Might be an allergy or fat malabsorbtion... Never fun though...
Another thing I almost forgot to mention... Mint is so easy to grow. Next time you buy organic mint, trim the end of a sprig or two or three and put it in water to root. When it has a few roots, and probably would work even if you didn't root it, put it in a pot with potting soil and there ya go. It can be invasive, that's why I recommend a pot. Before long, you'll have more mint than you know what to do with.
You certainly CAN eat beans! They're pretty carby, so I stick to a 1/2 cup serving. Christine avoids certain foods, like peppers, cuz they don't agree with her system. That doesn't mean YOU can't eat them. I make vegetarian nachos with green peppers subbed in for chips...super delish...The food tracker allows u to eat anything. Just start by 'eating healthy'...whatever that means to u. Then see how u can improve over time. If u like hot sauce on your tacos, do that, too!

I really want to get a Vitamix so I can try these. Our do you think a smaller blender can handle it? Also, I would like to stay away from bananas--they are too starchy for me--can you suggest a substitute fruit?
Just skip them. If u need a bit of sweetness, add a few drops of stevia. For creaminess, try coconut milk. The canned stuff has a big solid part that's actually keto friendly...the watery part has the sugars.
Christine, I tried to find Brazil nuts and dandelion greens at Walmart, Albertsons and Kroger and couldn't find them; the closest Costco is 80 miles away any suggestions where to buy them.
Just Google it. Dandelion sprouts near (zip code). It will bring up stores near your zip that carry them. You might try that. It worked for me. :) I had to do the same thing for oyster mushrooms! 😉
Have you considered shopping at stores that have more minimal packaging or that you bring your own containers to (like Aldi)? Seems like the produce came in a lot of plastic :/ Even most recycled plastic doesn’t get reused unfortunately, so it just becomes waste that never biodegrades. I get it that it’s hard to change a lot of things about your lifestyle at once and you’re working on your diet so it’s just something to consider

Shazie Jones they are super hard to peel when frozen in their skin. I know this from personal experience.
@@LihsaInHouston Shazie means they came from the supermarket in a plastic bag.
