  • Making fresh coconut yogurt at home is a delicious and healthy alternative to store-bought versions. By @splashofgoodness Here is a simple recipe to guide you through the process:
Have you ever made coconut yogurt from fresh coconut?
I triple the recipe and only used 1 cup of coconut water as I like my yogurt thick.
2 cups fresh coconut meat (from about 2 young coconuts
1 cup coconut water (reserved from the young coconuts
2 probiotic capsules (make sure they contain live cultures and are dairy-free if you prefer
Optional sweetener: 1-2 tablespoons honey, maple syrup, or another sweetener of choice
Made in Nama C2 Juicer and Blender. Link in my bio.
    Direction
Crack open the young coconuts and scoop out the meat. Reserve the coconut water.
In a blender, combine the fresh coconut meat and 1 cup of coconut water. Blend until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a bit more coconut water until it reaches your desired texture. Open the probiotic capsules and sprinkle the powder into the coconut mixture. Blend again briefly to incorporate the probiotics evenly.
Transfer the mixture to a clean glass jar or container. Cover it with cheesecloth or a clean kitchen towel, securing it with a rubber band. This allows the yogurt to breathe while keeping out contaminants. Place the jar in a warm, dark place for 24-48 hours. The fermentation time depends on how tangy you want your yogurt. Check it after 24 hours to taste and let it ferment longer if desired. Once the yogurt has fermented to your liking, give it a good stir. If you prefer sweetened yogurt, now is the time to mix in your sweetener of choice. Transfer the yogurt to a clean container with a lid and refrigerate. The yogurt will thicken more as it chills and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.

I first experienced swelling on the left side of my throat at 18 years of age. After a doctor's checkup, I was told it was due to acid reflux with GERD. I took antacids for a month, but the swelling persisted, but I ignored it. Now, at 24 years old, the swelling has suddenly increased over the past few months. Through my own research, I believe the swelling extends from the left side of my throat down to the lower esophageal sphincter (LES).
I have taken antacids in the last few months, but I am now seeking natural remedies. Can you please provide guidance or suggestions on how to treat this naturally?

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm not medical professionals so i can't suggest anything. When I had acid reflux, what helped me was lifestyle change, breathing meditation, exercise, diet change, and magnesium. If you want to chat, you can book 1 hour session with me through my website. I’ve had the same issue but worse. I healed by reading a book by Dr Klein called how to heal alternative colitis and Crohn’s disease. All the stomach issues are all related. Good luck.
