That one you eat just a plain noodle. No egg, meat or chicken. If they add some egg or chicken it will cost around RM5-RM6

Island living in langkawi is slow paced and there's no need to rush and people mostly are kind and less formal..now that I've lived in suburb KL I realised that my life living in langkawi was one of the happiest in my life, maybe I'm a person drawn to the beach...your observation was absolutely precise

Really cheapest satay. In Kl satay was around RM1-1.50. 60 cents is really good price
I and my wife are elderly backpacker,,,we have traveled many countries,,
For price comparison in southeast Asia country,,
Malaysia have more better value in money well spent in food, lodging and transportation ,, cheaper than Thailand, Vietnam, Laos , Cambodia and Philippines,,
But some travellers from my experience like to compare prices of alcohol,,
The cheaper the alcohol the less expensive the country,,,,
Like Angkor beer in Cambodia.
Lao beer in Laos,,
Chang beer in Thailand
San Miguel in Philippines..
The beauty of Malaysia...more choices of food from Asia.

Totally agree best foods are not in Trip Advisor. The best food are those impromptu road side stops where you won't really know what you'd get until you've tried it.

Wau, that chicken chop amazingly cheap and the meat portion also look great.
Yeah, in most places in Langkawi chicken chop costs between 12RM - 15RM so when we found that place we thought the portion was going to be kids size but for our surprise it’s even bigger than most places and probably better as that restaurant is always full 😁😁
You have to try Nasi Dagang Pak Malau @ Jalan Makam Mahsuri, it has quite a view.
Malaysia is an ideal place for budget travellers. U can find good cheap food, mostly at stalls, street hawkers n night market. Delicious bakso.

by the way, try to eat your lunch at "kak yan nasi campur", try the exotic bronok. its related to sea cucumber and you can only get it here in langkawi.

In melaka chicken chop rm 3.90. 😅 in small portions but it’s delicious and cheap too.
We were in Langkawi last year from Canada. Wish your videos existed then, I would rent a scooter to go to these spots. Langkawi is too big and these places are spread out too far.
Yeah, best way to explore the island is with a moped 🙃😁

@@Travelgramers not mee rebus , normally we called laksa utara, is like penang asam laksa, this is malay type of laksa, very famous in langkawi , you can find at fisherman n morning market , you can do a lot video there

We feel that chicken chop is like a Malay dish, in Portugal we have the chicken schnitzel but you will only find it in places offering student menus, this type of food we make it at home, we don’t go out to eat it 😉
