Savage was just a beast on a chain. A glorified pet. And the sad thing is, he used to be better than that. I remember him really caring about his brother before his rebirth. "As long as I'm alive I won't let you hurt him!", I remember Savage shouting at Asajj while protecting his injured friend. But now, he was a nobody. A nothing. A nothing who only knew to listen to his sisters and his mother. It's a tragedy, truly. He could of been anything else. Anyone else. Instead, he ended up becoming nothing more than an animal.

I always found it odd how braindead and robotic he was in this scene. Yet even when he was with Dooku before his woke moment when Ventress was fighting Dooku, he seemed less like that
The original Savage isn’t really even that bad of a guy. He’s trying to protect his brother and really is minding his own business as part of the night brother clan
he's like this because he was JUST getting used to his new body and new state of mind intill he realized that he doesn't have to put up with anything onto which they're saying at all. That should be obvious as Savage's transformation turns him into a brute and he slowly started to gain his sanity more and more as time goes on to be more independent but also DEPENDENT on Maul, his brother, because he doesn't have anything else left inside him!
Wait a sec...if Talzin is Maul's mother...and Savage is secretly Maul's brother...does that mean Talzin knew or intended to turn her by-extension other son into a Sith apprentice so he'd bring him back to her?
Watching this makes me think, Maul was trained is entire life to become the sith lord that he is. Savage on the other hand, his teachers cheated and used magic that eventually wore off once sidious killed him. Would this imply that the nightsister voodoo magic is second rate to the dark side of the force? I mean Savage lost to everyone with a red lightsaber and yes he isn't that experienced but still, could it be possible that the other sith were hardened by years of using the dark side and while he was just using powers he obtained from a magic spell.
Nightsister magic has a life warranty enchantment with it and it buffs up the user quite a bit. Sith power on the other hand is extremely powerful but extremely volatile and damaging to your body with extended use while night sister magic doesn't have this side effect. Power is worthless when you're dead as well so it's pointless if it goes away or not.
Night sister "magic" is the dark side of the force.... Potentially a mix of both. The night sisters worship the son and the daughter (force gods representing light and dark side.)

Just saw this episode. Holy crap, this was awesome. I wasn't sure about this show at first because I normally don't like animation but since I love Star Wars and wanted to know Ashoka's story before her show releases, I figured I'd watch it and man, I am not disappointed so far. Took a while to get into it, especially with season 1's wonky animations but I'm really glad I stuck with it because there's definitely a lot of interesting characters and stories in here! Great stuff!

Clone wars is a PHENOMENAL show entirely and Star Wars at it'e BEST entirely and especially how it keeps on getting darker and darker ever more so and AS WELL as the animation keeps on VASTLY improving from each season as it keeps on improving on it's movements, lightning, expressions, effects, and details to be cinematically MOVIE level production Love it so much as it's all phenomenally well done! Don't know how you "don't like animation" since animation can do SO much amazingly fantastic and expressive things that even surpasses live-action storytelling entirely, especially shown in this PHENOMENAL Show!

The night sisters were a very cool dark spider sect. A weaker version of the Sith, but with more control and outlandish properties to their force powers. While I’m glad Grievous had his spotlight massacring them. They probably would of died anyway to the Empire.
Even though the nightsisters are creepy and ghoulish, it is nice to see how far they are willing to go for ventress' revenge. Not even the Jedi were willing to go this far to protect Ahsoka. Really makes you think....
That's because dark side users are selfish and short sighted ambitious for petty things like revenge. Jedi would never do that, Jedi HAVE to be more rational and clear headed and work with the evidence that which they have for the greater good for everything!
