Hi Guys I have been waiting for this channel to kick off for ages. Happy to see some content. You have just an amazing set there Damian. IA league way from mine! I am at the opposite end of the scale with 100+ easy mainly Seiko and mainly crazy 70s stuff. I love how you have an appreciation for them, Some who can afford such models its all just about status and wealth yet with you sir its because you have an appreciation for the ascetics and the mechanics. Watch collecting is a deep rabbit hole, one that I will never climb out of but then my main hobby is restoring & fixing them. Every collector has a different story and thats what makes it so special. Really looking forward to seeing some reviews on these. I wish you all the success with this channel.

I am also a three-year watch collector as well. I have amassed a similarly strong collection but it also includes several Audemars Piquet and two Richard Mille. I have only been buying from boutiques and authorized dealers. I get calls when the hard to get items come in. I have been buying primarily watches that I think will hold value. In fact, I have seen about a 33% appreciation across the collection. You're video inspired me to start picking up some of the more unusual items that catch my eye that I previously have not been purchasing because they are not of great value. From here on out I'm going to start buying those as well. Thank you for that and I look forward to following your channel.
Love the Smurf and the Nautilus 5711. I love blue dials. Did you manage to get the PP from the AD? Have you looked at Gronefeld and De bethune ? Beautiful collection. Awesome to finally see you guys starting the watch channel.
TheCarGuys.TV Wish I had a crystal ball,David Duggan Burlington Arcade 2016 Nautilus 5711 and rose gold 5712 on brown leather 23,000 each both unworn,my wife talked me out of the purchase. I ended the day buying her Datejust 31 with salmon dial and a 33 mm Cartier ballon bleu. I watched both PPs double in price not that I would have sold them but it pains me to know how close I came to wrist watch royalty.

If you like PP you would love a A Lange & Sohne, some say the finish is even finer than PP and they love their complication as well, how about a double split fly back? Or even a triple split?

As I'm very afraid of mailing out a watch, and we don't have any noteworthy watch servicers where I live, can I just enjoy my vintage watches and not stress about having them all serviced? Great collection and very nice idea making a second channel and talking about timepieces. I saw you are having by my modest option the best color combination Rolex- Root Beer. I am giving a very big thought to buying one as a present for my own university graduation but hurting my budget so hard is why I am giving up on that idea for now.
This channel is a real find. the gentleman has followed the same emotional and psychological trajectory as myself (and probably many other watch collectors) But he has travelled with perhaps five times as much speed and energy! Respect!
Fantastic collection Damian. I love that it's so diverse. Most watch collections I've seen almost always only have Rolex, Richard Mille, AP and Patek. Micro brands are something I've gotten into and I would like to mention Zelos which for me is a must have in any collection. The other is a brand called Mark Gold from South Africa. Keep up the great content.
Do you change out the straps at all on any of your watches or is it a case of once purchased that's it, it's perfect, leave it alone? For me, depends on the watch. Some I swop to nato's or leather straps. Changing the strap can transform look of a watch and bring it back to life.
I don't do much strap changing, but I really should. I bought a strap from Hodinkee to swap out on my GS GMT, but haven't got round to it yet. Also, my AP Offshore comes with a yellow strap that I need to try...

I’d struggle getting all that lot passed my Mrs! Where do you keep all the boxes and do you bother with keeping them on winders? Good luck with the channel.
All kept in boxes in safety deposit boxes, we only use winders if we have a few self-winders that we want to use regular and swap between. It's not good to leave watches on winders.

Casual 5270P sitting there, crazy crazy pieces there. In my personal collection I try to shy away from hyped pieces, one of my favourites being my 5738P. please focus on some of the more obscure Patek, it’s an enigma of a brand but I’m totally enamoured.
Great collection and a fun video - subscribed. I am starting out and thinking do I go with a huge collection of cheaper watches for variety, or just a couple of high end pieces. (Leaning towards latter). But I hadn't considered this third option - a huge collection of fine ones! Time to sell the house! 😂
Just subscribed you seem a nice humble guy. Love the 50th anniversary moon watch. I just bought an Omega SMP black on rubber (also got the steel) bracelet. Really love it! Also have a Rolex Hulk and all gold Rolex GMT with black dial. Not sure whats next!
Nice collection, I too have a Kermit, bought for £3,000 at 1 year old and worn twice with box and papers because a mate needed cash...... Actually prefer my Seamaster and Speedmaster but aspire to a Patek. Kinda disappointed you didn't show the Bremont I spotted on the table as I'm a big fan. Also love the Daytona but on the wrist I find them disappointing especially compared to my limited edition Gulf Monaco. As for time keeping, the best is my green £135 Citizen Eco Drive on a Nato strap that use when allowed to travel. Looking forward to more content.

Depends on a great many factors - home security, safety of area/county/country, availability of bank vaults, value of watches etc. Keeping at home is generally a bad idea unless you have high security. A bank or security firm is better.
Great collection, though I would have gone for stainlessteel v white gold and saved lots of money in the rolex watches! Also, really like the info on the bottom left of the screen with info and prices!! Keep the content coming!

Great video Damian! My first “proper” watch was the Kermit. Didn’t think I’d find one and when I called an AD to reserve the regular Sub I mentioned the Kermit was the one I actually wanted and he casually mentioned he’d just received one and the gent from Dubai who wanted it couldn’t travel to collect, so it could be mine if I took the 4hr drive to get it the next day. Suffice to say, I was there to pick it up the next morning. Later sold during the financial crisis for less than I paid (yes, I am an idiot, but desperate times and all that) as things very much fell apart, and am currently trying to trace the sale so I can attempt to buy it back... Keep up the good work. I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of the collection. And did I see a 5270p-001 there? I have a story about one of those too ;) All the best, Niall

I have noticed some very nice Patek, all this collected in 3 years, that’s amazing. The 5711 is a watch I would love to own, but realistically I know I would never get from the Boutique. Amazing watch collection. The two pieces that really struck me that I haven’t seen before is that beautiful Lorier...and the Edox geoscope...I don’t think you even mentioned it but I love the look of that one !
I have a Lorier Neptune and it's my favourite wear. It's great to see that a guy who can afford really high-end stuff appreciates good design from a micro-brand.
Yeah to Tag Kirium my first "nice" watch was a CL111A - the digital chronograph... and 20 years later I still have it :) Good luck with the channel, great appetite wetting video.
It’s funny looking back, 5 years ago I had the pick of a black dial ceramic Submariner Date or a Hulk straight out of an AD’s window. Two tone Subs, GMTs, Milgauss, Explorers the lot in the window - apart from the SS Daytona of course and these days... nothing. Loving the SAS Explorer, that’s very nice. Lovely eclectic collection I see you enjoy colours. Have you considered Laurent Ferrier? Serious watch porn. You’ve got me interested in that snowflake spring drive, I’m a sucker for accuracy. +/-5s per year is incredible. And the sweep of that second hand is special. Great content you’re blessed with a cool passion and a seemingly endless supply of disposable income! Now that’s a dangerous combination!
Unbelievable collection, noticed a Bremont in there. Love that brand and other English watchmakers (think we should support them) - saying that I've just bought an Explorer 214270.. Anyway subscribed and looking forward to future videos.

Also love the Daytona but on the wrist I find them disappointing especially compared to my limited edition Gulf Monaco. As for time keeping, the best is my green £135 Citizen Eco Drive on a Nato strap that use when allowed to travel. Looking forward to more content.

Depends on a great many factors - home security, safety of area/county/country, availability of bank vaults, value of watches etc.
Keeping at home is generally a bad idea unless you have high security. A bank or security firm is better.

Great collection, though I would have gone for stainlessteel v white gold and saved lots of money in the rolex watches! Also, really like the info on the bottom left of the screen with info and prices!! Keep the content coming!
Those particular models are not available in stainless steel, so you don’t have that option, Ian

Great video Damian! My first “proper” watch was the Kermit. Didn’t think I’d find one and when I called an AD to reserve the regular Sub I mentioned the Kermit was the one I actually wanted and he casually mentioned he’d just received one and the gent from Dubai who wanted it couldn’t travel to collect, so it could be mine if I took the 4hr drive to get it the next day. Suffice to say, I was there to pick it up the next morning.
Later sold during the financial crisis for less than I paid (yes, I am an idiot, but desperate times and all that) as things very much fell apart, and am currently trying to trace the sale so I can attempt to buy it back...
Keep up the good work. I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of the collection. And did I see a 5270p-001 there? I have a story about one of those too ;)

It’s funny looking back, 5 years ago I had the pick of a black dial ceramic Submariner Date or a Hulk straight out of an AD’s window. Two tone Subs, GMTs, Milgauss, Explorers the lot in the window - apart from the SS Daytona of course and these days... nothing. Loving the SAS Explorer, that’s very nice. Lovely eclectic collection I see you enjoy colours. Have you considered Laurent Ferrier? Serious watch porn. You’ve got me interested in that snowflake spring drive, I’m a sucker for accuracy. +/-5s per year is incredible. And the sweep of that second hand is special. Great content you’re blessed with a cool passion and a seemingly endless supply of disposable income! Now that’s a dangerous combination!
