Nice video, some juicy cards in there. Thx!
Simple yet elegant. Maybe Arcane Signet over Charcoal Diamond?
Neat idea it looks pretty cool
2 lands to consider.
- Field of the Dead: For some obvious reasons.
- Deserted Temple: Literally combos with any of your Big Mana Lands. You should always run it in any deck with Cabal/Gaia/Nyx.
I'll admit I'm scratching my head at the skullclamp in these zombie decks with 2/2 tokens. Don't get me wrong, there's some great stuff here! Thanks for the video
I’d assume it’s included to equip to one of the tokens before sac’ing to add draw power. Uncertain though, I’ve only been playing magic for a little over a year now and still have plenty to learn.
Gravecrawler
This is pretty cool. I have her as the commander of a reanimator deck and it’s pretty fun. Anyone else taken her that route and would like to share deck lists?
would you share your decklist?
The only card I would add is army of the damned it gets you 13 2/2 zombies
It’s in there
I have a deck very similar to this! But I think Varina is the best zombie token commander. If you're able to break parity on her triggered ability, you can draw like a billion cards. And attacking with all the 2/2s with Archfiend of Ifnir (the only non-zombie) often wins the game. tappedout.net/mtg-decks/marchesa-but-fair/
Why archfiend of ifnir? Have you looked into feaster of fools?
@@jeffreylong1478 Archfiend of Ifnir's attack trigger with a few zombies and varina on board means wiping your opponents' boards every turn. It's a lock. Feaster of fools looks terrible lol, sorry.

I’m not sure putting a -1 counter on opponents creatures counts as a board wipe. Not unless all they have on the field are small tokens.
But feaster of fools may not look like much, but it synergies well with token decks. For example, you could play army of the damned creating 13 zombie tokens. (It helps if you have a dark ritual in hand because of the mana cost.) Than the next turn you can sacrifice the 13 zombies giving the demon plus 26/26.
If you have an anointed procession on the field you can double that effect. 26 zombies on the field sacrificed bringing feaster to plus 52/52. If you have a card giving him indestructible like sephara angel that’s pretty much game over for your opponents.
@@OrangeBananaMonster
If you have red in your deck you could also play mob rule and take your opponents creatures and than sacrifice them instead of your own zombies if you prefer lol
@@jeffreylong1478 I think you need to re-read Archfiend of Ifnir's ability. "Whenever you cycle or discard another card" triggers for EACH card discarded with Varina's ability. 5 zombies attack, all opponents' creatures get -5/-5. 10 zombies, -10/-10.
Wasting all those zombie tokens for one demon is awful anti-synergy. Think about how this deck operates. You want to attack with as many zombies as possible to get as many Varina triggers as possible. The best synergy isn't to sacrifice those tokens- it's to buff them.
I knew evrything was wrong when I saw grave titan HHAAHAHAHAHAH
