⁴ᴷ On Board Pullman-Standard R46 (B) Train From 125th Street to Brighton Beach (10/11/23)

- Being the second occasion of this happening, Coney Island Yard, instead of running the usual full fleet of R68's or R68A's, for this special PM rush-hour round trip, they had transferred a set of R46's presumably from the Q to operate on the B line, from Brighton Beach to Bedford Park Boulevard, and then back to Brighton Beach, making for a very special appearance on Concourse, 6th Avenue and Brighton all together in one evening. This has been only the second time a set of R46's has ran revenue service on the B line in recent years, operating in a very similar fashion to the first occurrence, only making just 2 confirmed trips. Whilst Coney Island does operate the B line, they are restricted to only functioning with R68 and R68A fleets due to Concourse's limitations on being able to store or maintain the R46 fleet, if the train may need to retreat to Concourse instead of Coney Island. This is also an extremely rare occasion post Jamaica's swap to full R160's that an R46 was able to operate revenue service on a 6th Avenue based route, or an orange bullet line. This is also the first time since the 2021 reroute of the C via Concourse/D shuttles that an R46 operated into The Bronx as one of the Concourse routes that travel there. Since this run, there has not been a confirmed R46 B Train since. #mtasubway
