I adore your content. As a Canadian housewife this is absolutely spot on. I feel so fulfilled when the house looks nice and smells like fresh baking. I love cooking a good meal. I love helping with homework and afternoon snuggles. I love taking care of my husband. I'm not a perfect woman. I'm not a perfect mother. But I try to improve the lives of everyone around me. Just a quick thing about “mommy culture”. IMO it is SO insidious and leads to so much insecurity in us as mothers and there can be so much judgment on the most unimportant strategies. I have had two pandemic babies back to back and the amount these types of accounts have hurt outweighed the help. Please, all you other new young moms out there, listen to Cynthia: we have what we need already within us. We can use tools and be open minded to new strategies and suggestions BUT don’t let anyone make you feel like a bad mom. Ok, rant over! Just wanted to emphasize that we as new moms really need to assess the types of “mom” content we consume and unfollow any of the stuff that makes us feel bad!

I am struggling with fears of becoming a mom and feeling too overstimulated or smothered maybe? And that I won’t have a partner who will help share in raising our kids. I don’t want to feel like a single mom even in a relationship if that makes sense. How do you manage (if you ever have these feelings) the feelings of being with your baby so much during the day and housework and meals etc. while your husband is gone all day, interacts with other adults, stuff like that. You can’t give a baby back after you have them so I’m trying to prepare my mind ahead of time! I deeply want to be a mom but I don’t want to be unhappy. Fear of the unknown, I think!

As a Lebanese American woman, we were taught by our culture that feminine charm doesn't always have to apply to the traditional gender roles, it can be used for other opportunities & get the right ppl on your side. If your feminine power turns off certain men and women...they have no part in your goal.

I love your content and your overall positivity. A thought I had as I watched this video is that perhaps women who are less conventionally attractive feel more of a need to compensate for that in other ways, particularly academically and professionally. They might not even realize they're doing so. I've seen this in my own mother who never misses a chance to speak of her educational background and professional success and has always scoffed at any efforts on my part to work on my appearance and try to be more physically attractive. I'd always felt very put off by her and her overall demeanor and dismissal of femininity and her attitude that I would never have the looks of a pageant winner like yourself so I needed to just give it up, quit being silly, etc. I was wondering if maybe in another video you might be able to give some tips to less attractive women? How can we improve and maybe reach some level of conventional beauty/attractiveness if we're not as naturally beautiful as you? Like you said, looks do matter. Society is not kind to unattractive people, those with deformities, misshapen facial features, etc. and I think there is a certain pressure there to "toughen up" and show that we have other positive redeeming qualities which probably often manifests itself in excessive bragging/emphasis on achieving certain professional success and/or overall masculine behaviors. I would love to hear your thoughts and advice.
