    Thanks for the info! I'm always showing ~0.5mpg high in my '19 F-450. I watched this and several other videos, but was still having trouble getting into Engineering Test Mode. What finally worked for me was getting into the truck, CLOSING THE DOOR, hitting the lock on my key fob, waiting for everything to shut off, then following your procedure. When the door was open, it kicked the "Driver's Door Open" alarm on the screen and never went into test mode. Don't know if I'm the only knucklehead that had this problem, but you may want to pin a comment telling guys to make sure all the doors are closed. Might help someone having the same issue I did. Thanks again!

    I guess I am assuming that you are dividing your Pump Receipt (Real World) vs Trip Meter (Computer), or are you using the Fuel Economy Average as the computer? I just did my first test and my Trip meter showed 18.1 mpg while the Pump Receipt calced at 15.92 mpg for those miles. But then looking at my Fuel Economy tab, it shows overall 15.6 avg mpg. So my all around continued average is 15.6 which is closer to what the pump receipt calced at. So if I do 5 or 6 fill ups and lower my AFE bias to match the trip to the pump, wont that then lower my Fuel Economy average also (which is a bit lower than the pump calc at this first shot)? So I am just a bit confused with the Trip vs Fuel Econ tabs with different averages. I guess I have some fuel to burn before I see what I come up with. If you even see this comment, thanks in advance for your clarification.

    • @MotorHead18
      @MotorHead18  5 месяцев назад

      I used real world hand calculation to come up with the bias. That's the only way to get it spot on. speedometer must be calibrated as well for solid numbers.

      It’s an option built into the truck and owners would like it to provide real numbers. That’s why.

      I was wondering if the 9252 was a kilometer reading, even though it showed miles. Motor Head, I don't think the difference is the percentage you deleted... Curious what it read later
