Greetings from Ankara, Turkey ! Just returned from a 3 month trip to KL and I agree that it is definitely the most underrated city in the entire Asia ! I have been visiting KL since 2012 , I have to admit that the city has transformed itself and is now morphing into next Shenzhen ! Can't wait to go back and visit KL again ! Side Note : Make sure you plan a trip to Cameroon Highlands (just two hours drive by car ) and do a weekend getaway and spend some time in the beautiful nature surrounded by tea plantations 😊😊

As locals, not wealthy citizens, what i ❤ of my country is that we dont have to pay expensive fees or lot of 💵 to enjoy nature, forest, jungle, waterfalls, places of worships, gyms, swimming pools, beaches, islands, public transports LRT MRT 🚆 🚉 🚝, food and drinks, AC malls, etc even in KL. We have public infrastructures that many people from all economic classes can enjoy, be it public parks, public swimming pools, beaches, forest, jungles, etc. The city landscapes are also amazing, not an eyesore. What a blessing living in 🇲🇾. Lets protect this country from being ruined by over commercials, which in the end may cause more difficulties to the local citizens.

This 21st century metropolis broadcasts a fusion of culture and artistry. The skyscrapers that dot the city are just but a symbol of the deeply entrenched architectural prowess characteristic of the Malaysian people.

Since when KL is safest city to visit?Malaysians really love Self ranking😂Fun fact: Singapore has been the SAFEST country in asia CONSISTENTLY for many decades. Another fun fact: KL was just a flat land with NO tall buildings in 1990s when Singapore alrdy became developed country in early 90s. KL only started having infrastructure & tall buildings in early 2000s. Even ur MRT system only came in 30yrs later AFTER Singapore🤭🥰

Bangkok promises a more open atmosphere of entertainment, Open sex, cheap alcohol and recently free marijuana. Bangkok is also inhabited by many residents and of course the busyness of its residents is noticeable. While Kuala Lumpur is the choice of those who don't think about free sex, happy hour all the time, more relaxed, low cost of living while enjoying a luxurious lifestyle at a great price, because the population is not many, the atmosphere is not as busy as Bangkok in terms of air quality which is cleaner.

On your next visit to KL, do check out the latest mall in KL, the TRX Exchange Mall, it has a rooftop garden. I'm not sure when the PNB Merdeka 118 Tower will be opened to the public (the 2nd tallest building in the world after Burj Khalifa), it has one of the highest observation deck in the world, and it also has a mega mall at the foot of the building that is rapidly moving towards full completion, the scheduled target has been delayed during the pandemic and lockdown from 2020 to 2022.

It's called central kuala lumpur bc that's literally the centre of town and where the first settlements were. And no, Petaling Street is not Chinatown.

As a malaysian i love Kuala Lumpur for staying. It kinda feels bored easily during weekend as not many activities as compare to Bangkok. Bangkok for a week vacation would be good as it has many sightseeing places like Chao Phraya rivers and nightlife entertainment. KL is for living and fly to BKK for the fun factor.

I have already tried all the finest cuisine etc. It gets boring here after a while. That's why I always fly to Bangkok/ Vietnam every month. There is excitement there

I set my tinder passport to central KL, scrolled some hundreds of times; zero female expats from the western world (yes, ZERO, and almost zero from anywhere other than the very nearest neighbour countries). Just something to think about - you can check this for yourself.

...am malaysian, didn't know retailers in KL still do that 'pay extra if paying with a credit card' 😅. I thought that practice ended in the 90s or early 2000's.
It's not allowed (you can even check/complain with the nation's Central Bank).
    Interesting.
Ahh may be they see you as a foreigner.Don't think they dare to do the same to locals.Last experienced the same scenario like in the 90s unknowing what the rules were then.
By the way it's done, videos could be weeks old but yes can see which shop if that was at low yat plaza 👀 .

@@Danygotaworldtoseegood on you 👍🏻. May be they are doing this only to foreigners/tourists.
No extra surcharges for cards payment in Malaysia & most EC countries.May be in places like Australia,India etc it's still allowed.
