Like most major cities in Malaysia, there are plenty of 24-hour eateries. The most popular among them are Mamak (Muslim Indian) restaurants, often the only places open around the clock. 3. Some tourists might find Kuala Lumpur (KL) a bit boring, as their idea of excitement often involves nightlife, easy access to alcohol, drugs (like marijuana), and the sex industry-areas in which Thailand is more renowned. However, Malaysia is more of a food lover’s paradise, with a slower pace and a focus on family-friendly activities. KL reflects this cultural aspect, plus it has less smog and traffic compared to Bangkok and Jakarta. 4. Cities like KL have a significant number of foreign workers from Bangladesh, Myanmar, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Nepal, who are mostly employed in the service industry, construction, and manufacturing sectors. 5. Malaysia is also well-known for its high-quality and affordable healthcare, attracting many foreigners from Western countries like the US and Canada. Even Indonesians frequently visit Malaysia for health screenings and treatments.

most of all, Malaysia has a more relaxed pace of life (maybe not so in it's major city) and it is relatively safe similar to Singapore and Thailand. Maybe the infrastructure and quality of life isn't as advanced as Singapore and Japan but most expats find the trade-off acceptable.
Many Japanese come to Malaysia and start a family. It’s interesting that they do this easily in Malaysia, but seems to have trouble in Japan. Could lifestyle be the reason for lower birth rate there?
The other reasons i could think of are:- - Japan government policy in clean (re: nuclear) power generation has imminent risks. The Fukushima disaster added on to the radiation that still persisted since Hiroshima and Nagasaki vs a relatively less contaminated environment n Malaysia. - Risk free Interest Rates at c3.70% is a good bet for your money vs the low interest rates in Japan.
Good and bad information. Salmon 50 ringgit per kg in Malaysia? Please let me know where. Salmon is imported in all cases, hence way higher priced. Japanese integrating in multicultural KL? Japanese communities traditionally stick together in Mont Kiara, where they go to Japanese restaurants, cafés and bars, send the children to Japanese international schools and spend time together in their own community. But indeed, there is a large Japanese expat community here in KL

I'm from Malaysia. My friends (from the U.S.) and I are planning to go to Japan, although I'm a little hesitant because of the language and currency differences. What do you think?
I'm from malaysia and I love malaysia
Im grateful for my country 🥳
I'm from Malaysia. I love it over here❤
Cool vid, I’m Malaysian
as a malaysia we welcome many east people dont car if china korea even japan also to stay and help use ,we enviroment also so peace and not so strict like japan and japan can also learn more much when in malaysia they can get japanese product that are famous in some region expecially for japan fans like me can enjoy it with cheap price
Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾🙏🏻
most of all, Malaysia has a more relaxed pace of life (maybe not so in it's major city) and it is relatively safe similar to Singapore and Thailand. Maybe the infrastructure and quality of life isn't as advanced as Singapore and Japan but most expats find the trade-off acceptable.
Many Japanese come to Malaysia and start a family. It’s interesting that they do this easily in Malaysia, but seems to have trouble in Japan. Could lifestyle be the reason for lower birth rate there?
i do found myself working in company that has portion en speaking japanese. great time tho, glad to be working there
Did you have a valid research about this ?
Maresia yokoso to nihon jin :)
im Malaysian but still learning japanese.
gomen nasai :)
The other reasons i could think of are:-
- Japan government policy in clean (re: nuclear) power generation has imminent risks. The Fukushima disaster added on to the radiation that still persisted since Hiroshima and Nagasaki vs a relatively less contaminated environment n Malaysia.
- Risk free Interest Rates at c3.70% is a good bet for your money vs the low interest rates in Japan.
I'm proud being Malaysian ❤❗
As a Malaysian we all are welcome other countries to come our place :)
I love malaysia 🇲🇾 ❤
Good and bad information. Salmon 50 ringgit per kg in Malaysia? Please let me know where. Salmon is imported in all cases, hence way higher priced. Japanese integrating in multicultural KL? Japanese communities traditionally stick together in Mont Kiara, where they go to Japanese restaurants, cafés and bars, send the children to Japanese international schools and spend time together in their own community. But indeed, there is a large Japanese expat community here in KL
Malaysia have lots of Japanaese food and product make japanese feel like home when they are living in Malaysia....
Whoever is from Malaysia and whoever loves Malaysia thank you I'm from Malaysia and I'm a girl my name is just like just because my little brother's name

Sus 😂
Penang and Kuala Lumpur are not that safe 😅 They're not even in Top 5 safest cities in Malaysia. Other states are a lot safer.
😂
Agreed! KL is literally a tourist trap, babes. And also too much traffic! I only go to KL to visit my relatives, any other business other than that, I'm not going to KL!
As a malaysian, i think we should have more public transport in other state other than Selangor, our capital state
Imagine riding monorails in east asia
