- We did it!! We hit 500bhp+! In this video we see the change in the S3 and just how fast it has become.. don't worry though, plenty more to come with this car - we are NOT finished with it yet!

Jesus Wosa What a machine. You will definitely get 0 to 60 in 3 seconds. 528 bhp is insane that power is frightening. You will definitely need new brakes ha ha. Keep the reviews coming 👍
Thanks Joe! Yes it is truly frightening.. I used to ride Supersport bikes when I was younger, I have to look at the road in the same way I used to ride them now if I’m putting that pedal down, making sure it’s safe to do so and that I have the space to do it. Dangerous in the wrong hands!

3.2 on these roads.. 100% a 3 second car now - that torque line is insane too! never thought the V4 was that capable!?

All that from a 4 cylinder, wow. I guess my stock 2018 S3 can easily be mod upwards in power without too many concerns. That’s 132hp per cylinder
Yes no problems, as long as you have a good tune and regular servicing - and keep an eye on temps, it's temps that kills these engines.
Congrats man, can't wait to see it do some proper launch. Camera on floor behind the car works well to capture acceleratiom.
Brakes would upgrading to better quad work well too? Been looking at them too and was quite tempted by the racing line ones as increase braking, reduce weights and have black discs.
Yes! Looking at the Forge 356mm 6 pots really, racing line are just as good though! The forge are drilled and groved whilst the racing line are just groved.
We have a dry spell on the weekend so I’ll be back out chasing that 3 seconds flat! I should of filmed the launch I did to be honest, lots of wheelspin through the launch meant the car hung in first gear until it hooked traction

Yeah so many footage are worth taking but not taken. Not always easy when alone though depending on the drive, always a bit cautious about leaving a camera on the side of the road.

Did you have to do a gearbox TCU map to the 7 speed DSG to cope with the stage 3? Im currently stage 2 and want to go to stage 3. Been told i need a stage 3 vts tcu tune to cope with the extra power.
Hey matey! yes - gearbox mapping is crucial to a stage 3, torque and clamping pressures need increasing to align with the new power distribution from the engine, the gearbox will actually limit torque if not done
This looks epic mate, super quick, mini Rocket 😂 been stage 2 for about 6 months on my Golf R and already thinking about stage 3.

car is insane!! your going down the route i want to with mine so just wondered of you could give me any advise I'm going to a stage2 within the next few weeks i hope so far I've just got a res delete but just wait for down pipe and turbo (witch will be going hybrid soon) turbo elbow silicone intake pipe and turbo muffler delete will be mapping when all that is fitted but wont be a full stage2 what else would recommend to do? also are you on stock internals as I'm wanting to go to about 500hp or maybe a little more

Thought the 528bhp was before the exhaust mod.
Would be good to put the stock back box on and dyno it before and then after.
No we hit 480bhp with the stock exhaust (we did have a boost leak though)
We wouldn’t be able to run the stock exhaust back on this map, as there would be too much back pressure on the turbo, we were seeing high EGT’s on the 480bhp with the stock exhaust as it was
What was the torque figure on the logistics rolling road , as when you run it on unicorns dyno the power was 417 ft lbs. unicorn dyno is a heartbreaker so good to know the difference
Logic rolled 404lbs ft - but we had a boost leak (I found out after) it rolled 426WHP too - but returning to Unicorn and running with the boost leak fixed we hit 496bhp and 427lbs ft on the logic map

I want this done to my exhaust but I’m scared it will be raspy and not a deep sound
Has a slight rasp - but these engines inherit that unless you baffle the inside of the backbox. The noise doesn’t really come out properly of the video but it is a deep note under full throttle
@@wosa9461 So my exhaust now has a deep note to it I just want it to be louder but also keep the deep sound I have a 200 cell downpipe and the silencer is removed or middle muffler. So I basically would want it to be a deep note how bad is the rasp? Is it still deep even under light acceleration?
I really hate raspy cars - this really doesn’t rasp, if you were extremely critical you can pick out a slight rasp - however the note is very deep (the car is essentially straight piped but with a resonator still in place) if I were to widen the tips it would be deeper again, my next video has some outside passing shots so hopefully you’ll get a better idea of the sound

Oh it’s intimidating alright! You can see people look over their shoulders when I put my foot down to pass 🤣 the cracks from the overrun are like gunshots too - again, video doesn’t really capture that as the GoPros have a noise limiter

Hi matey! Stock clutches (DSG) people seem to have issues with the DQ250 Gearboxes (6 speed) and clutches at stage 3, particularly if the car is 40k plus miles - I have the DQ381 (7 Speed) and have zero clutch slip/issues
@@wosa9461 well mine s3 is the facelift one with the seven gear dsg gearbox but it has slip issues from the 4th gear till the last gear. Also stage 3 by the way...
Now the car is at my tuner now they are triying to get it right with adjusting the dsg because there is no heavier clutch available yet for the facelift s3.
@@wosa9461 its all good now they remapped my DSG for almost a week but now its perfect...shifting as hell. 👍
