I know a lot of you will not agree, but I lube everything when it goes back together. At the very least, put grease or anti seize between the hub and the aluminum housing it goes up against. If you are afraid that stuff will come loose, pay attention to all the cars sitting on the side of the road where the wheels fell off....oh wait....there aren't any. :)

Not boring to watch at all, my man. My son bought a 2008 Allure this weekend and the wheel bearing was the only thing left between him and the joy of freedom away from his crusty-old dad. Thanks for your help today and talking me through a couple of spots I was doubting myself.

Sometimes you need a brass hammer to smack the axle inward. Be very careful not to damage the threads on the axle.

@@andersonsgarage2334 gonna give it a shot had regular 3 pound sledge style hammer and just was nervous to mess up threads I'll definitely try giving this a go with a brass one and give it some beans lol

@@herpaderpa6474 yeppers. Be careful of the threads. Or use a punch so you only hit the center of the axle

so I don’t understand why are you cut out parts of the video where you’re having issues other people may have issues in the same spot And what size is the axle nut and how did you end up getting the bearing out?

Hey Jeff, the axle nut was 33mm. If you work the ears ( where the bolts go through) of the bearing back and forth until it moves without much effort it come right out.
