From start to finish that was great, seeing the hammer evolve , and talking of evolving, if thats what you do at 19, you'll be up there with the best of them in no time. Well done and keep them coming. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful tool. Consider using a spoke shave to shape the handle following the draw knife. It will save a lot of sanding time and allow more control over the final shape.

Nice job, Does the PP need to be so visible? Next you will be writing it on everything, just like that Diresta guy. Thats how it starts, a few initials here and there....

That would be cool to let us know the use of each tool that you make like this hammer cause... Well i, and i thik I’m not the only one here, have no idea of what the purpose of that particular shape is! Great video anyway 😉

A bit late, but a chasing hammer is used to hit engraving chisels. Engraving is also known as chasing, and the large striking face means you can watch the tip of the chisel on the piece, not the hammer when you strike.

I have I hammer just like that! , your forge needs some repair on the front , next time you build one weld flat bar around the hole so the sheet metal does not degrade as fast.

What are you chasing and what will you do when you catch it ?
Question on your burner.. thinking of making one, most others cast them using a refractory. what sort of lifespan do you expect from just using steel?
