    I watch your videos over and over and am encouraged to keep going with hands that gave up appliqué due to the usual reasons....stiff, old, ouch! But moving body parts prevents also and so slow stitching has captured me and has begun my hands moving again! Your videos are just wonderful and teach easy ways in. I am still drawn to kwandi but small squares that are mug rugs and/or coasters are a more realistic beginning. Thank you for this and your other videos. I have one wooden spool that will have an attached story one day!!

      Thank you! It’s great you’ve pivoted to slow stitching. Your appliqué skills will give you so much insight into creating slow stitching collages (and a scroll for your spool).😊🧵🪡

    It's absolutely amazing how those pieces come alive after the stitches are added.
    I like each one but I think the off-white is my favorite. I love what you made with those pieces. I won't say what it is so I don't give it away.
    Thank you for a great video.

    I love this, Jo. I could see this as a gift for one of my friends, jar included, maybe adding a treat to the jar! I had better start now, though. I really enjoy your videos and have just begun slow stitching with some of your help and ideas. Thanks so much.💚

      No I don’t. All my pieces are raw edge. You can also fold the edges under if you prefer! 😊🧵🪡

    are the three little pieces 3 x 3. I made mine that size, but they dont fit around a jar. Hmmm.

    • @peaceofpi-studio
      @peaceofpi-studio  3 месяца назад +1

      Yes all three are 3 x 3 inches and they shrink a bit from the stitching to be just under 3 inches each. The distance around my jar is 8 1/2 inches. What’s the distance around the outside of your jar? Maybe it’s a fatter jar than mine?
