Perfect, please do a lesson on the Throes of Rejection solo!
Hell yeah!🤘
Yeah!!
Attila my Master please do it!
Thanks a lot Attila, i'm an intermediate/beginner and dime is my absolute hero, and seeing a channel almost entirely dedicated to his playing really makes me wanna pick up the guitar and learn new stuff, thanks a lot!!!!
Thank You for sharing this!!! Means a lot to me to know such feedbacks man!
i cannot emphasize how much i appreciate you teaching that wild riff. most tabs wouldn’t help as it was too fast to catch on to the tempo of the open note 0’s, and slowing it down didn’t help much either.
you have my sincerest thanks!
Thank You for sharing this!
Attila, youre the greatest. There is such a lot of attention to details, always nice to watch and learn
Finally!! I remember I asked for this a few months ago and here its :D
I do remember, that was an extra push for me back than ;)
@@AttilaVorosOfficial Happy Birthday Attila :)
this is easily the most badass guitar riff ive ever heard
I totally agree! And also the context makes it even heavier. Super fun to listen to! \m/
what a monster riff!!!!! puts raining blood to shame
Amazing as always man, thanks 🤘🏼
THANK YOU SO MUCH! You are an amazing teacher!! I never woulda gotten this down without your video \m/
Thanks Attila
Love the demonstration and the lesson. Just wanted to add my 2 cents from what I discovered learning this...
For the solo, that first "down" after the pull-off from 10 to 8 is awkward, as it should be an "up" at that point in the sequence if your pick hand is moving in time. If you stick with true alternating picking, you will hit an "up" on 6th note of each sequence (11 on the B string) and a down on the 7th note. This eliminates the need for the sweep, provides the ability to hit the pinch harmonic, and keeps your alternating picking true throughout the sequence. After a few extra reps, it feels smoother and sounds more natural now.
Amazing lesson! Thank you so much. Ive always wondered about the solo! Sounds sooooo funky when played slow. Very creative on dimes part ❤️
Thanks Attila!
thanks for posting this instructional, I think I'm finally beginning to get the picking technique down and improving on my fretting hand posture for cleaner pull offs and hammer ons.
Great lesson. This helped me nail this riff. Subbed.
Thanks man, Im happy to hear it did! Cheerz
Thank you, your lessons are very helpful!
Thanks for teaching 🙏🏼
So accurate bro 🤘🏻
Looks good brotha
I Think, you are the best guitar player on RUclips for playing Dimebag Darrell parts. 🔥🔥🎸🎸congratulations
Love your channel!🤘🤘
Hey your not the only one jamming pantera songs on a jackson
@@floridianthrasher5426 I will be getting my Dean ML Dime slime next week. I can't wait!🤘
@@DRock8040 sweet, my ml is in the shop being modded it should be ready within the next few weeks
BRUTAL!!!!
Fantastic lesson. Seems i've been doing it a bit wrong all these years! Thanks.
thanks for the guitar lesson
We're playing this in our setlist so this helps alot
fenomenal!!!!!!!!!
I love your videos!!!! Pls do a "where you come from" solo lesson!!!
You're just as good as dime was man.. for real. If it weren't for you then I would never know how to properly play these songs. You really have something special with your channel man.
Very kind of You, but I know how far I am to Him! That being said, Im super happy to hear that my videos have helped You man!
@@AttilaVorosOfficialI saw that cover of walk you did on the les Paul. Man you got like a 6th sense or something to be able to even transcribe all those notes he's playing. I won't compare you to him anymore, but damnit you are close enough 😂
Arghhhh I can't ever see myself playing it at THAT speed. I've got it down at medium speed but damn.... for a non shredder it's difficult to get up to speed even though I love everything Dimebag has done.
Oh my god thank you so much!
My pleasure ;)
Awesome vid mate!!! Anytime you feel like putting more dimebag content out, please do
Thanks! Im just about to do one today, and there's sooo many on my channel ;)
Great lesson Attila thank you so much. Love your Schecter too!
Hey man,
Just came across Your podcast.
It is extremely cool, love the questions, love the vibe, amazing craft!! Thank You for doing this! \m/
@@AttilaVorosOfficial Thank you 🙏 Attila I would love to have you on my Podcast if you would be interested? I've been following you for a while now mainly watching your Dimebag vids - you are an incredible player and I would be honoured to speak with you. Hopefully you might be able to understand my Australian accent 😊

Amazing. Goddamn you are good!!!🤘
Hey man, i really enjoyed this video because i've always wondered how this mid section solo had to be done. Now, i learned it thanks to you but at low speed, i'm still working out my own picking movements to do this. At low speeds its very easy to do, but when i try to speed it up with a metronome i cannot fit the slide into the next shape inside the measure but when i listen to the original i can clap my hands to the solo and you can hear it fits nicely. How did you get this up to speed without just winging it and hope for the best?
you are my master ( after Dime ;P )
🤘🔥🔥🤘
1:05, Drop D tuning, did Dimebag play in the same tuning on CFH as he did in all his other albums? I thought it was E standard. Great video either way! I freaking love that riff, and watching this video I'm learning it now! Thank you for all these videos you make man
Song was in drop D, 435hZ on the record 425Hz live, but this is a song that is very easy to play with standard tuning, too
@@AttilaVorosOfficial interesting. playing cowboys from hell in standard it sounds correct, but we all know dimebag always switched up tuning
I would like to say you're a BEAST😎😎😎BUT NO DIME IS😁😁😁 NICE JOB THOUGH BROTHER😊😉😎
if u watch the dimebag randall clinic video u can see he played it in standard d just like five minutes alone and a new level walk and so on
Attila much respect from NYC you should drop an art of shredding lesson 🤔
Maybe a playthough instead...soon? ;)
The solo is hammer ons and pull offs bro
Baleze vive Napoleon!! ;)
🤟🤟
Thank you for informative video! What's the song 0:20?
Any tips on how i go fast on that burst solo ??
👍
First of all, great work Attila! You have impressive technique and a very well thought way of arranging your notes and picking them.
I also think it's great that you made this "Play it like Dimebag" series so that players of all levels can enjoy his music by working on various riffs.
So, congrats for all of the above and the effort and time involved.
That being said, I'm not trying to pick an argument or anything. But what are you basing your arrangements and picking choices on? Is there an official Pantera guitar book that you use?
I'm asking because particularly for THE riff in Primal Concrete Sledge, I'm seeing an UPstroke on the open string chug chug (the 0 0-0-0 s that stay the same in the first 3 of the 4 "rounds" that make up the riff).
Here, look for yourself. Am I seeing wrong?
ruclips.net/video/k226LOnrk44/видео.html
If that's the case, might he not be picking the other notes as well with a different sequence of downstrokes and upstrokes than the one that you propose?
Hey,
Thanks for the kind words!
Regarding that part You might be right. From what I can see that Clinic video is that Dime played the A6 up and then the D4 down and then He did an upstroke on the first open E string.
I missed this one probably, sounds better this way, so good ears and/or eyes my Friend;)
I learn everything by ear and also using these RUclips videos to see as many details as I can. Most the tabs and tutorials videos are full of wrong infos regarding Dime's licks in my opinion. So for the most part I found this much better for how I go about and it also sounds better to my ears, BUT it doesn't mean that I will be 100% right all the time.

@@AttilaVorosOfficial Thanks for the fast reply.
Most welcome for the compliments. Credit where credit is due, ma fre'. :)
Glad I could bring a different perspective on this. Don't worry about missing it. Dimebag is, in my opinion, sorely UNDER-rated when it comes to analyses that have been made on him. (Which is why I applaud your work). As well as clear videos with the camera focused on him, like we have for other guitar gods. :(
I am mostly self-taught and learn things by ear or whatever resources I can find online, too.
The odd part about this particular riff is that I learned it many years ago, and was revisiting just the other day, for fun. And I took the time, for the first time ever to see how I actually pick it. And to my great surprise, I found that I was doing the upstroke on the open E string, as he does. Apparently it just felt natural to me too to play it like this when I first learned it.
Apart from this, I'm not sure I'm picking all the other notes like he does. As... it's really hard to tell with no clear videos. :(
dimebag actually played it in d standard u can see it if u watch the randall clinic video
Yep, that is a good observation. I'd say He only did due to practical reasons since that was just a small part of that backing track in which the rest of the songs/parts were written in standard tuning. In live gigs He could easily switch guitars but that clinic was different like that. At least that's my theory on it.
Does anyone know what tuning dime really using? I try drop d dont sound right and i try d standerd and still never sounds right😮
Here's a full video on that you might wanna chheck out ;)

Mantap bro ....
not sure if I now what You mean :)
He meant good job
what guitar is this in this video I want it
It’s a Schecter guitar bro
One note: dime doesn’t pick the solo that much. Most of it is legato you can go to the Moscow performance and see he’s not doing any alternate picking there
Yes, indeed he did not do that live, but on the album I hear the picking very articulately.
@@AttilaVorosOfficial ok but dime was known for strong legato licks, also at the dime clinic he did in ‘93 he plays it the same way. Just doesn’t make sense to me that he would change the technique that drastically
Please, take my money 😊
What guitar is this ?
Answered - 2U - in an other video
Majdnem jó,de azért lejatszodni Dimebag-től akár mit is,az márt nem vicc 😉👍üdv Felvidék
Dime didn't pick every note in the lead. It was almost all legato.
Im talking about the studio version in which I clearly hear pickings. That being said it is how I think it is. I do not know nothing for sure in this life.
would be great if you had have tuned it the same
doesn't sound like the original
thx dude
