i tried it in the doctor's office and it didn't do anything noticeable for me. age 21, also dont know how i got ptosis either, it's only on my right eye tho and it is definitely noticeable 😥
Visine L.R. Was like $20 a bottle and had the same active ingredient, but was discontinued and now you need an rX, can only order through a special pharmacy by mail and it’s over 10x the price. That’s the pharmaceutical industry for you.

Visine LR had oxymetazoline 0.025%, Upneeq is oxymetazoline 0.1%, so 4 times as strong, so likely to help people who didn't see an effect from the Visine.
Buy regular nose spray the same active ingredient oxymetazoline hydrochloride just make sure you don't get menthol or anything and just get basic nose spray

Great result! I saw Upneeq on the cover of Vogue magazine and just tried it for the first time. It’s amazing! My eyes feel so awake. It improves my peripheral vision. Thanks for making this video so others can experience too. It’s reassuring that an ophthalmologist uses it in her own eyes!!! 😊

thank you for this video, my eye doctor recommended this for me, my eyes are so much worse and considering the surgery but hate the thought of eye surgery - so I am trying these drops first, will keep you posted, but this video really helped me feel a bit easier about trying this eye drop.

I’m wondering if this active ingredient is the same that was in Visine many years ago, yellow label long lasting, this Visine was removed from the shelves due to this ingredient. Believe me, I will not forget this time as I was addicted to this eyedrop, and had paid $150 for a bottle of Visine from eBay. Finally seen an eye doctor to help me with my addiction. What ever he gave me it worked, but I relapsed am still to this day and I drop fanatic. And I am not comfortable leaving my home unless I have put eyedrops in my eyes are, Roto Max redness reliever, and Lumify. I am definitely going to check this eyedrop out and I because if my memory is correct, this active ingredient is definitely an alert eye-opener!
What are your thoughts on how effective can Upneeq be for congenital ptosis?

This is me almost exactly. I had one bad (really bad) bout of styes for several months in my right eyes. Since then, that eye is even droopier than before. It's not horrible, but I really notice it especially in photos. I'd love to know if this worked for you!

Hi Doc. I have amyloids on my upper right eyelid which makes my eyelid droopy. I had surgery but it’s still droopy. I will be going under another surgery, but for temporary use am I a good candidate for this medication?

Quick question, would naphazoline ( mixed alpha 1 and 2 receptor agonist ) technically have the same effect since it’s an OTC product? Thanks
I love it. I work a lot and don't sleep well. When I use upneeq I look well rested and fresh for the day. its been a lifesaver for meetings, zoom calls, and any time where I need to look my best. I don't notice any negative side affects outside of minor and temporary blurring of vision while the medication is absorbed.

I love your videos. You give such great explanations and detail. Would this be a product someone being tested for dry eye might use?
You can certainly try it but it might exacerbate your dryness (your eyes are more open, therefore more exposed, as well as the preservatives). My optometrist who is in her late 50's tried it and loved the lift but hated the dryness, but she has very severe dry eyes
It will make it worse. I'm done using this due to the dry eye so I'm scheduled for surgery in may.

Hey Dr.Wong- I have had a bad case of blepharitis/mgd from using the vegamour lash serum and my eyelids have definitely gotten more excess skin folds and it's made me feel really embarrassed and frustrated. All from this eye lash serum usage for 2 months. Is better treatment of blepharitis going to resolve this issue? I have been to a bunch of doctors but it's been really upsetting.
Does this work for people who have congenital myasthenia syndrome (CMS)?

Hi! Have you had patients who had Lasik try this medication?
doctor i know it is a different topic but because the video mentioned it, how can an ophthalmologist decipher if a patient has gd forbid an eye tumor like orbital rhabdomyosarcoma versus something that kind of looks similar simple a chalazion or orbital cellulitis?

One thing I noticed, my eye that is droopy is genetic, my mom has it, I also noticed one of my aunts has it as well as does my grandma. Runs in the family, hoping the drops help lift my eyelid.

Hey Mollie! Great question. One drop per eye is the recommended dose. You should not need to put both drops in one eye.
Can I just spray afrin in my eye for 10x less the cost?

My Dr that does cosmetic stuff for my prosthesis mentioned afrin because of my blepharoptosis. But do we just spray it in our eye with the prosthesis in? Do we take it out?

Ive been using this for 2 years and it works. However its expensive and there is no generic on the market yet. So BIg Pharma can keep increasing the price while preying on those dependent on these drops. A thing to note is this is only temporary...you have to use these drops forever and the costs add up. A 90 day supply is $300. 4 X 300 = $1200 a year alone. I would suggest get Ptosis surgery instead from a qualified ocuplastic surgeon. I'm looking into this for just my right eye for long term results
Yes, it is temporary and expensive. Hopefully we can make a generic version soon!

Hello! Many things can cause droopiness. It can be simply from getting older or it can be caused by a medical issue. If you haven't already, schedule an appointment with your eye doctor so they can give you an exam.
Upneeq is available in other countries as well.

I ran into a fence when I was 8 years old, and it cut the muscle of my upper right eyelid. Now my eyelid droops. Will this work for my situation?

Good question because I would use it when I go into the office or go shopping. My right eye lid droops and sometimes it impacts my vision too. I don't turn on my camera at Zoom meeting bc I'm so uncomfortable thinking others are looking at my wide or half closed eye.

I used it. It works, but not for very long. It only lasts about 5 hours. I wish I could take a second drop for the second half of the day so that my co-workers would not think something happened to me after 1pm.
So it made my eyes much WHITER, but not much bigger. I had higher hopes! (there’s a video of my before/after on my page)

Hey! I tried, they do not deliver in india. They suggest to get it delivered to someone you know in USA.
I tried it and did not see much difference. I need surgery. I need more brightness.

@@DrRupaWong I thought ptosis surgery shortened the muscle from inside the eyelid. Is that a different surgery? That may be what I'd want, but I s'pose I should visit an eye-specialized surgeon

do they help with blinking eyes too mine blink a lot lol :O I'm blind in the peripheral areas from a stroke

@@DrRupaWong thank you, i found some eyedrops, the blinking I found out is caused by dry eyes, and so I found some eyedrops called BLINK and it does seem to help it.

Ppl are just too quick to use meds like these just get the surgery instead of of continuously putting chemicals in ur eyes
Some prefer to use this every now and then for special events. Just personal preference!
