An NP34 was my first handgun
It was reliable and I shot it for about 4 years until I got sick of the heavy double action trigger pull

I'm hoping to get my RPAL once Covid restrictions are reduced. I was eyeing the NP22 as a cheap first pistol. This was really helpful.

Or consider Girsan for inexpensive handguns that actually have decent quality.

E2 is the best ergonomically of any Sig grip, some Norinco are really good.

i spent an extended summer in canada before covid, my friend had one of these and i used it alot. for the price this is a great deal. only issue i had (rare) sometimes the mag needed a strong hand to make it seat properly. accuracy was about 80% of an actual sig, close enough for me. cant remember it jamming even once and i went through a couple of thousand rounds..nice sidearm

    Nice review on these two.
The finish on those looks...rough. but for 3 bills, its probably fine.

I know this is old now, but i thought i'd ask anyway - in the article you mention the slides for np22 and Sig 226 are not interchangeable, I just watched another review where the poster had put a pro-cut Sig slide on his without issues - what slide did you try? Fingers crossed because i ordered the pro cut before seeing your review =)

The Quality control can sometimes be a small issue too, my NP22 doesn't quite fit the mecgar mags, You have to really slam them in there to get them to catch, so hard that I inertia charged the gun a few times, but really if you file down the mag catch like 1/1000th of an inch, they work perfect so very easy fix. Some NP22's they will work straight away

    nice vid
have you thought of getting a P762?
if so would be nice to see it on your show, also a detail strip of it. I am unable to get the firing pin out for a propper cleaning.
main difference to the NP22 is the grip is larger to beable to handle the 7.62x25 rounds.
