My wife is 7.5 weeks pregnant after a 5 day, 3 embryo transfer. Initially, all three embryos implanted and her serum HCG level skyrocketed. She soon expelled 2 embryos and her HCG level plummeted. The last ultrasound indicated 1 gestational sac with a fetus, which was one week retarded in growth and her HCG number increased somewhat. We are praying for a heartbeat on her next ultrasound. 🙏
My doctors tried to get me to fast. I have PCOS, and at retrieval my BMI was 32. I kind of fast, but I snack. I've never been a breakfast person, so I don't get hungry until 11ish. I eat berries, nuts, cheese, or lunch meat. Then I have dinner at 4pm ish. I eat a smaller portion and diet. I then don't eat or snack past 6pm. I'm now at a BMI of 28.9 in one month. My transfer isn't for another 2 months due to treating my endometriosis. Ladies, my doctor said your BMI can lower your success rate. I'm hoping to keep loosing and it's hard when you have PCOS and endometriosis AND on Lupron. But we got this 💪

And most embryos get lost between day 4 and 5. So it makes sense that more previously frozen ones stick because most of the bad ones have been filtered out, and the ones who make it to blastocyst have already proven that they can grip properly.

According to google, you can’t leave chronic endometritis untreated, it’s caused by bacteria infection. Apparently you have to be treated with antibiotics

How to avoid abdominal issues/ uterus infection if occur after OPU in ICSI.
If frozen is more successful - why don’t they push for that first rather than fresh.
I don't know if this helps, but my Dr actually pushed for frozen as he said it would transfer better.
I would give anything to have another baby. I had one really young and lost both tubes. I now how to save every penny to do IVF. 😢
