it's refreshing to see the character of a truly standup guy.
@nopillzplease2830 definitely court ordered lmaoo no way any scammer just pays it back out of the good of their heart
@@letsfindsomepeace9207 Yeah I meant wholesome for the people not exactly wholesome on his part 😂
What about the locals who they hired but didn’t pay
I was also so surprised he wanted to do it again after he spent jail time and went into debt to pay people back. What an upstanding guy...
Bro really went “Man, I gotta find a way to pay off all the debt that I got into from running a giant scam… I know! I’ll run *ANOTHER* giant scam to make all the money back!”
We are 1000% living in a script.
He's not trying to pay his debt he's trying to cash out and run from the consequences.
I will give Billy credit for one thing. He gave excellent source material for Internet Historian to make one of his best videos.
fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
As a big middle finger to Billy everyone should just show up at the location unannounced without paying for their tickets and create their own party so they still get a party and Billy still loses money
Hello there

How uncivilized.

It's soo smile-inducing how much Charlie is trying to hold back he's laughter when explaining the PYRT 😆

I honestly thought the guy probably just made a self deprecating joke when I first heard of the name
Soulja boy will show up. Might even bring his newest game console.
I remember Internet Historian’s video on it. My favourite line was “Billy claimed a storm came through the night before and turned all his promises into lies.”
The weird thing is, there may be people that will still donate to him; even after everything that transpired.
I honestly want to see him proceed with another Fyre Festival and watch fail like the first one, this will hopefully mean that Internet Historian gets to make a sequel to his FF video
When life gives you lemons, Internet Historian will make a video about it that's super fun to watch somehow
@Logan Desk Charlie also admitted to making better ham sandwiches than the ones at FF
The long waiting Fyre festival season 2
I have literally already messaged sumito personally to get the news to IH
Charlie actually getting serious and attacking something is truly a special thing and genuinely iconic. Truly he strings together words like a god weaving a blanket
You took the words out of my mouth. This was brilliant 🤣
Are you high?
Nah zoomers are just trash in comparison, penguinz is pretty in malding skills
@@Viroh good english man! keep it up 👍
If you think charlie is serious or mad in this Video you actually dont know him at all… 😅

I see a resemblance to Seth MacFarlane
Seth *MacFarlane
I mean he's up there with Peter and Chris Griffin I can certainly tell you that much😂
The bird is indeed the word!!
@Logan Desk ok👍
I mean, I've thrown bad parties before, but at least I've never thrown "spend four years in prison and end up owing $26 mil" parties.
You know Charlie isn’t messing around when his use of the word delusional is being used more frequently than normal
This guy is more like Eddy than Ed in that episode where Eddy tries to run the same scam multiple times with minor “tweeks” each attempt thinking the other kids wouldn’t catch on and that he was going to be rich
I know that episode! “Once Bitten, Twice Ed!”
It's not that Charlie is angry, it's that he's disappointed
charlie knows best
And angry
The documentary explains a lot. 1. Tickets were actually too cheap, 1k for 2 weeks in the Bahamas with food, lodging and a concert, 2. The marketing was too good and it sold out 3. He and his crew were told that they needed more time and money to organize a decent fest, he could've postponed but he was personally liable for several million dollar loans. 4. They compare themselves to Woodstock in the documentary, lol. 5. They wanted to do it on an island with NO INFRASTRUCTURE..
This man is the textbook definition of doubling down on a bet you knowingly will lose
I agree.
When I saw the “a pirate is someone that turns the impossible possible” line, the only thing I thought of is “damn, I thought pirates were rapists and thieves lmao”
To be fair, a decent number of pirates were just guys back in the day who didn’t want to be conscripted into the British navy.
On the other hand ya, a lot of them were a little rapey/plundery
Pirates deserve more than that! To read the seas and skies and maps so well, they weren’t only just rapists and thieves! A lot were of course but big up the good pirates!
2:48 honestly, just let him do it. If you're dumb enough to fall for it and get scammed by a known scammer, you kinda deserved it.
True, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me
I hope he goes through with it. We need more content.
@Ken North he will find them. people are more stupid than we can imagine.
@@ddenozor people were shocked when they found out rainbow wasn’t a flavour, humanity is not to be trusted
After seeing people pay hundreds of dollars for an energy drink, I wouldn't be surprised if soon people are on TikTok bragging about what trendy, expensive scam they fell for.
This guy had 4 years of his life to think in a cell and finally came up with the same idea that brought him to prison in the first place
What’s even more sad is, probably people will buy the tickets lmao. It wouldn’t surprise me
A bot has stolen your comment. And of course it has a couple hundred more likes than this one as of now.
@@jakehero95 man this bot problem lately is goddamn annoying. Seeing it on every videos 😒.
@@xSpooKee fr it got old a long time ago. Yet youtube still does nothing about it while they make as many changes that screw over creators and censor *us* as they can. Blows my mind that a bot can say the n-word and stay visible meanwhile if I just call someone ignorant my comment will be hidden from everyone except who I tagged. It's absurdly frustrating and ridiculous.
@@jakehero95 yeah you’re comment now is actually hidden. You didn’t even say one swear word. Guess ignorant is a bad word. Man I hate what RUclips is becoming and what they are doing these past years.
Never understood that "you wouldn't download a car" campaign. Everyone I know would absolutely download a car if they could.
To be fair a lot of pirates were also theater nerds. They would entertain themselves by putting on plays on the upper decks, sometimes hosting mock trials where they recounted the various crimes a crewman had committed. The crewman would plead his case and the crew would decide his "fate."
At this rate I’m shocked he doesn’t just start a kickstarter to pay off his 26 mil debt
I love that the court didn't legally bar him from arranging events.
They didn't think he would be this stupid lmao
The worst part is the people who know who he is and will still pay him
Exactly 💯
He was going to keep trying until pay money to be scammed turns into something mainstream that all the celebrities are doing. He's persistent with his business model, no quitter guy, truly an american role model.
“If you bet on the stupidity of the Americans public you’ll never go broke”

I'm with him Fyre festival was a complete fail, screw it double down and try again. What else has he got to lose?
As a fan of internet historian i see this as an absolute win!
Hopefully we'll get another episode within the next 5 years!
Oh yeah this is going to make a good one
Yeah I’m about to watch his video on the first one and witness the horrors

Even as he was about to go to jail, he started sending out weird scammy emails to everyone whose email he got from them having been scammed in his Fyre festival thing.

Could be worse. Weird people could’ve made Fyre festival successful the first time for those reasons lol
What really sucks is that if there were a real corporation that wanted to a festival like this no one would give them the time of day because of this guy
Ah yes, the guy who made a "festival" so bad that the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism itself apologized for it is _definitely_ gonna be allowed to host a sequel.
It's common for entrepreneurs to move on to new business ventures after the success or failure of a previous one. However, it's still important for individuals to take responsibility for their actions and to be transparent about their past experiences and any challenges they faced.
Thank you Billy. Finally we can get another episode from Internet Historian.
I mean, these are all good points. I just think the dude is a 100%, clear-cut sociopath. He can't process that people don't like or trust him....that's impossible in his mind. He really believes everyone else is the problem, not himself. He scores a 1400 on the douche scale and will likely never change. These are the type of dudes who end up murdering someone because they literally place no value on anyone's life but their own.
Totally agree. I first thought he was a compulsive con-artist. But I reckon being unable to accept responsibility makes more sense here.
