@Ahzoh vaping was marketed as safer for use near others, but because of how it hangs in the air, it prolongs that exposure. Especially for people closer to the ground. The vaper couldve told the staff if he was waiting on an order, while he ducked out to smoke.

This happened in Vancouver BC. Last summer I was working down there and witnessed an old man fall into traffic and be killed by a bus due to the Jolly Bee next door having too many people taking up the sidewalk. As this man lay there dying, a handful of us worked on calling an ambulance and blockading the man from the public. Most people were just walking by taking photos or videos. It's sick, it's sad and it needs to be addressed.
That's what a lot of people do. When I was in high school my freshman year we had a lot of fights, and everyone's first reaction was to just stand there and film it, fuck getting someone who can do something or stepping in (although it is tough and not always safe) Everything has to be recorded, no matter how tragic, so people can gain clout. Then when the sensible people call them out, they reel backwards and play the victim. This guy wasn't thinking about anything except the potential views he would get online. Fucking pathetic

This happened where I live and I use to catch the bus right where he was stabbed. This video makes me sick but so do the actions of everyone that was there that day. No one stepped up to help the dad that got stabbed. Not a single person put pressure on the wound or even stepped up to him.

@@NickNov i do cherish him, so so much. he’s recovering from prostate cancer and it’s been extremely hard on him. his radiation treatments have finished and now he’s in the recovery phase, but he’s sick as a dog and in constant pain. it’s so heartbreaking to see the ones you love in pain, knowing you can’t take the pain away. i am not religious but i have prayed for my family, and the poor mother and daughter.

Twice I’ve been in situations where I’ve had to help/save strangers, almost giving CPR to one, theres a Couple of times where I didn’t step in and on one occasion delayed my response to a pregnant woman collapsing in the hospital emergency room (as I wasn’t the closest and assumed those nearby would spring into action but didn’t) Those situations bugged and stressed me massively even now recalling them, that I didn’t help sooner, even though everything turned out ok as far as I’m aware, they still haunt/stress me out
I feel so horrible for the poor child. Like, my heart just broke hearing this story. That child saw something incredably traumatic and will now grow up wondering why her father had to die. And then the poor wife. She just lost her soul mate and best friend over such a trivial thing. I can only imagine the pain she's going through right now. All I can think about is my mum and dad. And how I would do anything to protect them and keep them together.

As a chronic vaper, I recognize my habit is terrible and not everyone wants to be around it. Same as smoking. And so I keep my distance from the entry way and shit automatically, but as soon as I see children Comin near me I quit vaping until they pass and will usually take an extra step or two away.
This happened where I live, Vancouver Starbucks. This blew up locally within hours and the backlash towards Alex was massive thankfully but there were also many who never even acknowledged the “Logan Paul” vibes this dude gave recording the video. Awful situation.
As a father of a toddler myself, this just breaks my heart. That little girl will probably never know terror like that in her life again (god willing) and thats extremely traumatic for a small child. The thought of my baby girl watching me die in front of her and no one else around her that she knows is terrifying to me as a parent as well. I don't have a child (yet) but I'm at the baptism of a very good friend's daughter soon and I can't in a thousand years ever figure out the pain of this family. Truly they don't deserve it at all. I just want to give them a hug.

I’m a father of two teenage boys and reading your comment regarding your feelings when contemplating how your daughter would feel if something like this happened to you is so relatable. As my boys get older and become more independent, I find myself further removed from such haunting thoughts. I know it’s because nothing can compare to the beautiful innocence of a little child. I recall many occasions watching my little boys play together in our back yard and a nightmarish thought comes into my mind similar to what happened to this poor father. Thinking about my boys all of the sudden being alone and in total fear while having no understanding of the situation elicits indescribable feelings. Every time I look through our picture albums, I really miss that stage in their lives. I wanted them to stay that young and innocent forever. But time has a tendency to fly by way to fast as a father. Now my oldest just got his license and loves the new car I bought for him. And my youngest will soon get his as well. I am so thankful that my boys never had to endure trauma, tragedy or loss during their years of perfect innocence. So I wish the same for your little girl. Take care and thanks for your comment

I don’t think as a society (ie, the western world) we’re ready to help yet. Unless he personally seeks help. I still feel like we are fighting fires, and have to wait for him to commit a crime (although this should be a crime) before he will be helped. And even then, America seems very punitive rather than rehabilitation focused.

I saw the video this morning and it's absolutely gruesome. Not just because of the blood, but because no one is doing anything to help him. There's is a man sitting close to him and he doesn't move at all. People tell others to call the police and stay away from the injured man. This man was bleeding out and no one tried to stop the bleeding. Prayers to the family, especially the little girl that's too young to understand what happened to her beloved father. May Gosal rot in prison.

I think the most gut-wrenching part of that video wasn't all the blood that covered the pavement, but the sounds he was making as he dropped to the ground. I have seen all sorts of sick stuff in my life, but those screams coming from the tapes being played in the courtroom, which you only hear snippets from as people leave the room absolutely distraught is haunting. I felt bad days after watching/listening to that. To think the FBI supposedly uses those tapes to desensitize recruits is just chilling.

This is the saddest scenario I've seen in quite awhile. You'd expect something like this to happen in a dystopian movie or video game, just like that episode of Black Mirror where the woman is desperately trying to find help, only to be recorded in the process by onlookers. I hope that little girl has a good support system so she can find some peace in the situation. That has to be one of the most haunting experiences, and she's only 3.

I get where you're coming from, but it's also important to note that the guy who stabbed the father immediately went back inside the Starbucks. There's still an active stabber around the area and for those people, at least, it's wiser to not set that guy off any more and get attacked themselves. If the stabber walked away from the Starbucks, I'm certain the help would've been more immediate. It's just a lot more scary when you're steps away from the guy who did the stabbing. I was walking past when it happened (after 911 was called) and the amount of people that just walked past without blinking an eye absolutely stunned me. This is the 5th or 6th stabbing in Vancouver this year. I didn’t see Alex there but I also wasn’t really thinking about anything except for the wife who was, understandably, panicking. It was terrifying to watch and I can’t believe how calm Alex is, even afterwards. I’m still freaking out because it was 2 normal people - and by normal I mean just going about their day - and one of them died that day

This happened in Vancouver BC. Last summer I was working down there and witnessed an old man fall into traffic and be killed by a bus due to the Jolly Bee next door having too many people taking up the sidewalk. As this man lay there dying, a handful of us worked on calling an ambulance and blockading the man from the public. Most people were just walking by taking photos or videos. It's sick, it's sad and it needs to be addressed.

This happened where I live and I use to catch the bus right where he was stabbed. This video makes me sick but so do the actions of everyone that was there that day.
No one stepped up to help the dad that got stabbed. Not a single person put pressure on the wound or even stepped up to him.

Twice I’ve been in situations where I’ve had to help/save strangers, almost giving CPR to one, theres a Couple of times where I didn’t step in and on one occasion delayed my response to a pregnant woman collapsing in the hospital emergency room (as I wasn’t the closest and assumed those nearby would spring into action but didn’t)
Those situations bugged and stressed me massively even now recalling them, that I didn’t help sooner, even though everything turned out ok as far as I’m aware, they still haunt/stress me out
I feel so horrible for the poor child. Like, my heart just broke hearing this story. That child saw something incredably traumatic and will now grow up wondering why her father had to die. And then the poor wife. She just lost her soul mate and best friend over such a trivial thing. I can only imagine the pain she's going through right now. All I can think about is my mum and dad. And how I would do anything to protect them and keep them together.

After hearing this I thought about what it would do to me, a 28 year old adult, to see either of my parents get killed in front of me and, and I immediately had to stop because that thought is just unbearable. I don't have a child (yet) but I'm at the baptism of a very good friend's daughter soon and I can't in a thousand years ever figure out the pain of this family. Truly they don't deserve it at all. I just want to give them a hug.
It might not be much comfort, but the mother was present on the scene too and holding the daughter while the fighting happened, so the girl was not alone, not that it makes the whole situation much better to be honest...

I’m a father of two teenage boys and reading your comment regarding your feelings when contemplating how your daughter would feel if something like this happened to you is so relatable. As my boys get older and become more independent, I find myself further removed from such haunting thoughts. I know it’s because nothing can compare to the beautiful innocence of a little child. I recall many occasions watching my little boys play together in our back yard and a nightmarish thought comes into my mind similar to what happened to this poor father. Thinking about my boys all of the sudden being alone and in total fear while having no understanding of the situation elicits indescribable feelings.
Every time I look through our picture albums, I really miss that stage in their lives. I wanted them to stay that young and innocent forever. But time has a tendency to fly by way to fast as a father. Now my oldest just got his license and loves the new car I bought for him. And my youngest will soon get his as well.
I am so thankful that my boys never had to endure trauma, tragedy or loss during their years of perfect innocence.
So I wish the same for your little girl.

I saw the video this morning and it's absolutely gruesome. Not just because of the blood, but because no one is doing anything to help him. There's is a man sitting close to him and he doesn't move at all. People tell others to call the police and stay away from the injured man. This man was bleeding out and no one tried to stop the bleeding. Prayers to the family, especially the little girl that's too young to understand what happened to her beloved father. May Gosal rot in prison.

I think the most gut-wrenching part of that video wasn't all the blood that covered the pavement, but the sounds he was making as he dropped to the ground. I have seen all sorts of sick stuff in my life, but those screams coming from the tapes being played in the courtroom, which you only hear snippets from as people leave the room absolutely distraught is haunting.

I feel horrible for that poor child. Her whole life is turned upside down and she doesn’t even have the full abilities to understand it yet because she’s so young, she’ll be forever traumatized and will probably grow up afraid and unable to trust anyone
This is the saddest scenario I've seen in quite awhile. You'd expect something like this to happen in a dystopian movie or video game, just like that episode of Black Mirror where the woman is desperately trying to find help, only to be recorded in the process by onlookers.
I hope that little girl has a good support system so she can find some peace in the situation. That has to be one of the most haunting experiences, and she's only 3.

On the video , you could see a guy drinking coffee in the background and seeing the guy die instead of help him , which shows how humans are slowly becoming heartless monsters

I get where you're coming from, but it's also important to note that the guy who stabbed the father immediately went back inside the Starbucks. There's still an active stabber around the area and for those people, at least, it's wiser to not set that guy off any more and get attacked themselves. If the stabber walked away from the Starbucks, I'm certain the help would've been more immediate. It's just a lot more scary when you're steps away from the guy who did the stabbing. Still, it's absolutely horrible

I was walking past when it happened (after 911 was called) and the amount of people that just walked past without blinking an eye absolutely stunned me. This is the 5th or 6th stabbing in Vancouver this year. I didn’t see Alex there but I also wasn’t really thinking about anything except for the wife who was, understandably, panicking. It was terrifying to watch and I can’t believe how calm Alex is, even afterwards. I’m still freaking out because it was 2 normal people - and by normal I mean just going about their day - and one of them died that day

That’s truly baffling, I think it may be shock to not want to actually get uninvolved. People walk past sleeping homeless people all the time, they could be alive, they could be just sleeping. It’s literally the strangest thing.

What saddens me is that the guy hadn't even died when he ran over there screaming that he was dead. The father must've lost hope immediately and believe it or not but stuff like that actually matters when youre in a life or death situation. Like most people freeze if they saw that traumatic event playing out in front of them, to have the ability and clear thinking to move and make decisions and actions, actions that were only beneficial to him.
