By making the point that it's creepy that he is following her, she annihilates her own argument that there is no problem uploading photos of _another persons child without consent._ What an idiot lmaooo
As she is 16 years old, and assuming she has 16 year old friends, she is literally distributing images of children for 'consenting adults' in the eyes of the law in the UK. Real P word activity, gotta say.
She is absolutely one of the teenagers who get in an argument on twitter and then start calling the person they're arguing with a pedo because they're talking to someone underage when they start losing the argument
I really can’t hold much against her, because she’s only 16, but for the people who keep doing this shit as adults, it’s fucking scary. Instead of assessing a situation honestly, they learn how to opportunistically bend any situation in their favor, no matter the consequences to others. And I fear society is only enabling this narcissistic behavior
@@eliotguerin192the reason people act the way they do is your mentality of “I can’t cold much against her” at what point can we start holding people accountable? But you can’t hold that against them, they’re 16! As an adult? Well, they’re probably stressed! Okay, how about elderly? No but they’re elderly I can’t hold that against them ): no one is SAYING to hold ANYTHING against her except acknowledging that she’s in the wrong and needs to learn from it.
the flat and callous way she said "well, I'll tell everyone that you follow me on instagram. A 16 year old girl. How is that going to work out for you?" gave me straight up sociopath vibes. That is not normal behaviour

I think it's more likely that she's secretly recording this and is trying to make it look casual and not tip off the father by not having the camera obviously recording anything, including her, but I see the point you were trying to make. Thats not true, there is no law against public photography of minors or adults. like i agree with the dad 100% the girls being an awkward dickhead but yeah no law against it im afraid google it if you dont believe me.

@Sirenz no, the sad thing is having this mindset. "oh yes, everything online is fake." can you give us a *spesific* source so we all know this is fake?
I’m 25 and I still remember how teachers had to send a consent forms (every year) to our parents, to take pictures of us, just to put up around the school. (In Canada). We were baffled as kids and obviously wanted to get out photos taken of us having a good time at school. Makes a whole lot of sense now.
@@ms.tatortots5419 Wait really? I wish I grew up with this, we had a ton of photos taken of us throughout our lives where I grew up. And I'm a 21 year old.
We do it here in the US too, except I think my district went with an opt-out instead of opt-in and it’s part of the enrollment process to make sure every parent does it.
I’m the same age and we had to get parental consent forms for just about anything, including sex Ed of course. It’s crazy how far the west has fallen from traditional normal values that keep people and kids safe.
This used to be normal. I personally grew up in the early days of the "new internet" and my mother was FB friends with my babysitter, guitar teacher, etc. The reason it is not seen as normal anymore is because the internet is no longer about connecting social circles, etc. It's now about "big number better".

Posting a picture of someone else's kid without permission, then calling them a pedophile for having a problem with it is a different plane of thinking i didnt even think was possible
Some people think you only follow them on any social media because of romantic and or sexual interest. Which is such a weird thing to think of in the first place.

The disgusting part is her accusing him of something that real victims most of the time don't have the courage to speak up about. Really hate people like her who use rape, pedo and being a victim as an escape card
For real. Not so long ago here in South Africa a kid killed himself because one of his schoolmates made false rape accusations against him as a joke. I still don't understand where the humor is in knowingly making a flase accusation but this shit is real and has real consequences.
I'm not surprised by this story, not unusual for someone her age. She's an immature teenager that thinks she knows everything and is too stubborn and insecure to take criticism or admit when she's in the wrong. There were definitely times I did the same at her age, tho never anything this egregious and I wasn't on social media till an adult. She ran to post her version of the story to get validation that helps her convince herself she was in the right and doesn't have anything to feel bad for, it's all just an effort to feel better abt themselves and skirt consequences/taking accountability. My oldest sister had a baby recently, she has a private account that only family can see of photos and videos of her. People online are creepy and I think it's amazing more parents want to keep their young children's photos off the internet. As badly as I want to share how cute my niece is, photos aren't shared outside close friends and family, because why does the rest of the world need to see photos of a child. It's messed up to share images of another person's child without permission online, and arguing with them because you did so and they didn't want you to is extremely childish.
11 years and I've never once posted a photo of my son online. Got in a fight with his greatgrandmother who was posting them and I had to file complaints with facebook to get them down. All because I didn't want creeps taking his photo.
As someone who started using the internet during the early ages social media. It’s honestly bat shit crazy to me that people are totally ok with posting hourly updates on there life with their face clearly online.
Her response was petty and immature and the entire scenario was a result of her inability to swallow her ego, apologize and admit she was in the wrong. Now she's let herself look like a fool, she's lost her job and whatever goodwill she had with this family. Well done. 👏
Not even 10 years ago this would be an embarrassing argument only between her, the family, and her parents. Now she has the power to destroy herself in real time.
I've worked an internship in a preschool classroom and I remember the other interns were taking pictures and videos of the kids. Having them do tik tok dances, outright saying their names. So stupid what people will do for clout.
It’s always the people who fight for literally no reason other then to win the argument. She gains nothing from keeping this photo up yet she made this big fuss. I will never understand why people don’t just back down from arguments where they have nothing to loose from admitting wrong.
Extreme delusion. Even criminals and rapists are like that. They believe they did nothing wrong. It's the world and society that wronged them, therefore they are entitled to do anything they ever want.
I can just tell she was going to accept the deal of deleting it and getting paid the first time he mentioned it but she just couldn’t stand being wrong which is why she sounds like that when she finally folds
Seems like a teenager thing. At that age a lot of kids have a habit of thinking and acting like they are a lot smarter than they really are. Im 27 now, and this girl's attitude just reminds me all too much of how some of my peers in high school could be at times. Always thinking they are capable of outsmarting the adults in the room.
As someone who’s currently in high school, it’s impressive how many people I see who do confidently believe they’re infinitely smarter than adults. My school is incredibly flawed, especially in the way it handles mental health and THE 9 STUDENT DEATHS the current senior class has had since freshman year, but they’re still adults with more experience. Again, they can obviously do so much better (like actually helping students with mental issues instead of bringing in a therapy dog for a single day without mentioning it and expecting everyone to be fine afterwards) but we’re also kids. We don’t know better about everything
I knew a few 'acquittances' that were like this, but nor actually my friends. I did not have an endearing loyalty to anyone who thought they were 'smart', since they always came across as assholes. Coincidentally, they were assholes.
A random middle aged man following a 16 year old is weird. A father who has hired a 16 year old to be the babysitter for his child following that 16 year old is not weird.
I did sooo much babysitting for randos back in my younger years and looking back I CAN’T believe they didn’t make me get a police check or anything. Like anyone could be a babysitter without basically any questions. Wild West. I don’t love the employers digging through your socials to keep tabs on you but I feel like this is a situation where it actually makes a lot of sense!
The father referenced that when he said she was of age and not having a "DBC" which is the UK version of a criminal background check. Her being a minor she isn't eligible by law to be checked being a juvenile.
