@ This car is not really for big cities in China. I personally have never seen anything similar in the central part of Shanghai. But people in rural areas of China also deserve cost efficient commuter cars and this could be a very solid choice.
@@darkphoton_15keVsorry for my poor English, the reason why you can’t see this car in Shanghai is that car price below 100000rmb can’t get free license plate,so, if you want to buy this car in Shanghai, you should pay another 100000rmb to apply a license for this car.
No good when driving uphill. It will over heat easily if uphill for a longer distance , and halt finally. Then you have to wait a long time to let the motor cool down.
Man, I wish Indian govt stops it shithousery and lets Chinese EV makers enter the market. The smallest EV in India that I consider except this one is MG Comet. And this looks vastly superior than the other one. And cheaper too.
There is no need for safety equiment, in Europe the cars with less than 500kgs are not considered Cars anyway... They are light quadricycles like the twizy. (This car is much more este than the Twizy)
No it won't. The market has spoken. A few decades ago we had plenty of cheap cars available, but they never sold enough to stay cheap since people were unwilling to compromise on performance, safety, looks, comfort etc. Else we could still have the first generation Golf and Micra for sale.
@@SweBeach2023 You're wrong. MIcra and Gold aren't that cheap and people would rather put money on a used larger cars at that price. These cars will sell like crazy for developed country since it's EV and not gas. It will also sell really well for people who only need it inside certain city/town for short commute.
wuling sold air ev here in indonesia. one user tried it in hilly mountain. the motor got over heated and need to stop. and wait until it cool down and go again but very slow uphill. and u will lost 30-40 % of the estimate range. in hilly mountain u need to buy more powerfull ev at least with 50-70kwh battery size. like omoda e5, MG4, byd etc
I feel that for around $200 more they could make it much better like installing a rear wiper, making a phone holder and mirroring option, making those screens less reflective...
@@stevenjones916 It is hard to get any real facts of China, but google says 900million+ people in China makes less than $300 a month, while the average income is a little more than $4000 a month. So I guess there is a 1% that earns tons of money and inflates the average a lot.
Just 10kmph faster and it would be fast enough for British motorways. Then it's a viable car. I'm absolutely sure they are limited to protect the motor and oil trade in the UK. Safety doesn't make sense when you can buy and drive a motorbike that travels at 200mph. The motor industry doesn't want very cheap motorway capable EVs because they would dominate the market and cut its value by more than half.
@@cocoaiscool2709 No. I absolutely do want to. I have owned two smart cars. I like small fast cars. Have you ever been in an old mini. Several of my friends had pretty fast ones back in the day. They were fun. Anyway, 70mph isn't that fast. Just fast enough to go on the motorway.

small cars are the way to go. the EU needs to wake up and make a special class for smaller cars with a top speed of 110kph. anything with 500kw+ should need a special licence.
It seems very good valute for that price. But I dont think that if will be sold in EU the price will be the same. It will be doubled at sure. Then it will be not so competative on EU market without optional financial green subvention for buying electric cars.
Wuling MINI EV's affordability is attractive, but Toyota's bZ4X EV offers a more comprehensive package, with its e-TNGA platform delivering exceptional performance, range, and sustainability.
compared to the 10 year old VW eUP, Smart ForTwo/ForFour or Mitsubishi iMiEV Citroen CZero and Peugeot iOn, this Wuling does out compete them. Then there's the heavy quadricycle in Europe which don't stand a chance
This car is a electric scooter car, while the VW eUP is a car that fully meets all regulations a real car must have in Europe. Those cost a lot of money to fullfil. That is why we hardly see any small cars made anymore, and only SUV's, cause they do not have as strict rules as the smaller vehicles. A VW eUP is a great car to drive, it feels bigger than what it is. It drives like any normal big car. It uses less than 10 kWh per 100km. It also has a better range than this moped-car.
And yet despite having a legion of fans VW canned it and put out a range of SUVs no one wanted. Go figure. Well at least Renault may fill the gap with Twin go.
@@AJames-jr8kw Mostly cause 10 years ago, the VW eUP costed almost as much as a Golf GTI, which was cool, bigger, faster, and so on. The Petrol Up! was a big success, but EU made small cars being too expensive to produce.

This works perfectly fine for daily commute within small towns below 40mph. I feel quite confident driving this car anywhere but the highway.
I dont see any problem driving this on highway since they are always people who drive slow.
And chinese cities are often bigger than some small countries

The Chinese car market really is a different world.
As always thank you for showing it to us!
I wish more of these cheap ev's would come to Australia🙏
Great for inner cities
Unfortunately Aussies are too obsessed with their big yank tank utes. No market for small cars.
Correction: Vehicle height should be 1578mm, instead of the "1670" shown in the video.
I like the interior color scheme. very soothing
Amazing car. I hope such affordable cars come to Pakistan and other developing countries.
I drive a Mitsubishi minicab miev EV Kei van and it's limited to about 106 kl/h so that little thing is just fine in my book, I'm in Australia.
Very well presented.
Good Value for money 👍
Good to see Fast Charging in a Wuling Mini EV.
Wuling Air EV is available in my country, but no fast charging is a big deal breaker.
Great video, great looking little car. Maybe you should do a 1000km road-trip with it for entertainment purposes!
This car would be perfect in developing countries. Much better safety than putting four people on a scooter or motorcycle...🤪

With the appropriate levels of safety equipment installed, these would sell very well in Europe and other developed countries, if the price was right.
