Actually this is interesting, when spooling up, the 3 cyclic servo arms move up. This causes the blade to change pitch, as a result it deflects the air to give it lift and not the shape of the airfoil itself. You should try reversing both blades, i did it on my hbk2. Initially no lift off but after hitting the 3d switch it actually flew.
