Great video ! One thing to know when you are a beginner, you need space! Too many people think they will learn more quickly in small spaces but it is not! YOU NEED SPACE !

Actually this is interesting, when spooling up, the 3 cyclic servo arms move up. This causes the blade to change pitch, as a result it deflects the air to give it lift and not the shape of the airfoil itself. You should try reversing both blades, i did it on my hbk2. Initially no lift off but after hitting the 3d switch it actually flew.

I got a honey bee thingy half a year ago, I just couldn't fly it even for 30 seconds - literally! A few days later (having flown it for like 30 seconds?) I had an embarassing crash in front of my two brothers, broke the darn thing good :P I heard coaxial helis were much easier to fly and got those instead while my honey bee lay gathering dust. Looking forward to flying it now I have practise with the coaxials.

Thats a shocker :O My commanche heli can lift 100g extra load for around 5 minutes, I would have thought my honey bee fixed pitched could have lifted such a load much easier (haven't tried, as it has been broken for a while). So your heli couldn't handle an extra 37 grams? I'm finding it hard to believe, I was just about to buy the cam too.

Really cool video, i am at day 3 lol, got the HoneyBee FP myself as a first heli. Where did you get the battery warning light from? Do you have the item number / name because i want to see if i can get one here in the UK. Did it just plug straight in? And Well done! hope i get there as quick with little damage like you :)

Hehe - watching someone practice tail-in hover has to rank with watching paint dry. Actually LEARNING to do it is a little different, as anyone who has done it or tried will tell you ;o) Well done on your progress, that's a small space to learn in, once the heli is up it starts swirling the room air around too. Someone buy that man a beer!
