For the people complaining about the use of plastic containers. It is realy no problem if you use hot water inside. The seed is inside a shell and there is no contamination. And 4 h inside that water makes realy no sense to worry. If you want to use plastic containers and you are worried. Use plastic containers free of BPA. Glass is a good thing to use, ff course. But don't be 8 or 80. Plant free of bad vibes and your plants will grow beautiful. 😊❤️
Objectively, most types of plastic are not heat-resistant and will leach harmful chemicals when hot water is poured into it. Doesn't take long for boiling water to break down the surface of non-heat resistant plastic types. The PP(5) plastic used in the video is the safest type for handling hot water (though it may still leach plastic additives depending on different manufacturers). The seed may be inside the shell, but it absorbs water through this seed coat...so any chemicals will be absorbed and accumulate in the roots when they germinate. The safest method is of course to just not use any plastic for hot boiling water. Lastly, good vibes are not scientifically proven to remove BPA and antimony. Lol.
What a beautiful video full of actual instruction that ordinary people can do. Ignore the plastic criticism. Every plant you buy is raised in plastic buckets tgat sit out in the boiling sun in nurseries……..
There's actually a research on BPA(harmful plastic chemical) uptake in 144 types of plants, and the unexpected result is that plants actually grow better with low amounts of the BPA leached from plastic. But the bad news is that this means plants actually do take in BPA into their system. Another study on tobacco seedlings also confirms it. It all still depends on the plastic type used, though. PP plastic is one of the safest and most heat-resistant types of plastic out there. Other types of plastics on the other hand, will always leach harmful chemicals into the soil, under the hot scorching sun. Not every nursery care about the plastic type used...so different nursery might have different BPA and antimony concentrations in their plants.
i recently pucharse a hydroponic growing system and i use cilantro seeds to start but never germinated in 30 days. Now i know the reason, the shell never broke. Thanks so much for your content.

Hola!!
We were shown how to grow these at school when we were 6 all we used was a piece of paper kitchen towel and seeds no need for anything else you just made sure the paper towel was always damp job done in 2 mins none of this messing about. Always have some growing on a small plate on my kitchen windowsill.
I think your brilliant in all this! Is there any ideas If you were factoring in any potential material that isn't included in forever chemicals or that doesn't have residual PFAS issues? Any help goes a long way 🙏
I loved your video however I don't know what supplies you used? What do you call those little red trays and where can I buy them? What was that rolled paper you used? Thank you for showing me this, just looking for this information so I can try it. Thanks again!
What did you mix into the water before you put the second tray on top? I'm assuming it is a fertilizer. Is it fertilizer, calcium carbonate, and epsom salt, like what is used for hydroponics? Thanks.
