I'm 12 and I love to organise My room but because I'm 12 I don't have a job to get money so normally I would keep my lunch money to get organizing products and this video has really helped me

Alejandra, I could watch your videos ALL day, I recently left my job because of depression and because of the years I battled depression my house got incredibly messy and unorganized, almost like a hoarder... now I'm trying to tackle it, day by day... unfortunately because I just left my job, I can't afford to join on your website, but I'm hoping your RUclips videos can at least get me started.

I try to organize my outfits for work the week in advance and I think the vitamin organizer would be so cute to get the jewelry and stuff I always forget ready to go with the outfits! Thanks for these fun storage ideas!
Those bright blue drawer organizers also came in white. I picked up a few to organize inside of my junk drawer. I combined all of my "sick" meds like cold, flu, cough syrup, they are in a bin on the very top shelf in the kitchen. They are still accessable but out of the way as I'm not sick very often and occasionally when I'm deep cleaning, maybe twice a year I toss whatever is expired and repurchase so its on hand for when I'm sick, the last thing I ever want is to be sick and standing in line forever to purchase something overpriced at the drug store. Inside of my junk drawer I also store my basic meds, like a few vitamins and pain relievers. That bin organized all of my bottles perfect so they aren't sliding when I open and close the drawer. It also corralled my rubber bands, pens, and extra keys.
I use those pill organizers for small scrapbook supplies like brads and eyelets! i get the clear ones so I can see what is in there!

I went to the Dollar Store the other day and found those butter dishes too! I was so confused on what to use them for though, until now! Lol I need acrylic trays like that for my drawers for my makeup. Thanks for the idea, Alejandra!
Oh! And that mini basket thing the blue one that also came in strawberry milk pink, would be great for bath toys for the kids! You just put the toys in there and set it in the tub to let them dry, then after, put them under the sink! Just a suggestion (:
I'm in love with the medicine organizers. I have ADHD, anxiety, and chronic depression, and I take meds for that along with medicine for my skin and sleep (I know, I'm all drugged up & sound crazy). They're so great because they have an am and pm section - if anyone was wondering.
My 11year old autistic boy saw the paint organizer in the store when I was looking for something else and asked for the blue on to put his chips in as he watches his movies.So he had a great idea

I'm going to try using that butter dish for my medicine cabinet! Hope it fits, great idea. Actually is that butter dish marked 2 or 5, if not it shouldn'y be used for food storage. Always check the numbers in the triangle on the bottom of any plastic storage item. They may be cheap but glass is the best as there is no chemical leakage. Oh I've used the vitamin/pill organizer. Day to day it works fine.The problem with them is they don't lock securely so if you're traveling wrap a rubber band length wise to make sure the vitamins don't fall out. I use their gallon buckets for washing the floors & carrying my gardening gloves, trowels, seeds outside. Can't beat the Dollar Tree prices!

Tip# For the medicine organizers I break off, or scoop out lipstick that's at the end of the tube and put each color in its own square. You can then use a lipstick brush to apply, and now you don't have to keep 5 or 10 tubes of lipstick with just a few applications left. Plus then you can mix them for the perfect shade ,that's a snap to throw in your purse.

This is so inspiring. I've started to get into 're-purposing' items.
My latest one was a small tinfoil food container used as a vitamin caddy in my medicine cabinet. I couldn't find anything else that would fit the space and it was the perfect size. I've labelled it and used old bead containers to put my vitamins in also.
I'm slowly reorganising my home and I feel you are a big part of that. Also I loved the free video series. Still doing my tasks. :)
Dragged my cranky toddler through the organizational section of Home Depot last week and found some GREAT stuff. Because he was cranky I didn't stop to buy anything, but since I've been obsessed with these clear plastic shoebox style containers because they not only have the standard top, they OPEN FROM A DOOR IN THE FRONT!! That means never having to take the box tower down to get at the stuff in the bottom box, and no need for different shelves to separate them!! So far I was thinking that I could use them for COIN ROLLS, because we have a ton in a big mess of the different bags they came in, and I thought those would be easy to use and then I could store stuff on top of them! They also have the basic clear plastic shoebox for 98-cents, which technically makes them cheaper than the dollar store! Not so cheap that you should waste the gas to go to get them, but if you have to go for some other reason, like say your husband keeps breaking his lawnmower (um... no... that doesn't keep happening here...) and needs parts you can grab them while you're there already and save the 2 pennies!
If you line the wire baskets with the grippy counter top material you could use them for small items too :) A side note, i LOVE Altoids containers, You can use them to make a magnetic board, with magnetic paint or a cheap cookie tray, and attach small magnets to the back of the containers, and labels to each of them for small items, maybe inside the door of a small bathroom cabinet or something.. just thought I'd share that. I love the containers, I kind of save them.

I love all of these tips! I just wish my home had a play room or craft room or even an office. All we have are 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, dining room, living room, a tiny room for our rabbit and a really tiny doll room (bathroom sized)

I really enjoy how honest you are wth your little quirks....from enjoying a great zipper to hiding wires to putting putty on the bottoms of baskets and containers so they don't move and make noise. I was bored the other day and I actually tried a few of your hacks and they all worked! I know these videos are a few years old but I hope you put out some new ones in the new year. 1:06 I got those...for my cups and small dishes/spices in a 2:53 & 3:13 small bin,that makes a pull out shelf, in the kitchen cupboard..lol

New subbie. I just discovered the many uses of the dollar tree butter dish for organizing. I use them to store my washi tapes and I also use them to help organize my breakfast-to-go bar. I keep small granola packets in the base and I line up my nutmeg, cinnamon, salt and pepper on the lid. I heart the dollar tree. You have a wonderful channel.

I love how you mentioned the idea of the vitamins organizer for jewelry. It's also good idea to use it if you're planning what jewelry or earrings you're using for each day! Love the dollar store going there tomorrow!
I love buy containers made for a specific item and then you use it for something completely different. I found some wooden cutlery holders from ikea. Stick them longways on the wall and they are perfect for displaying nail polish bottles!!
I but those baskets with the hole cut outs all the time, they change the colors available and I agree that they look much nicer/cooler than other stuff at the Dollar Tree. I mostly use them in our media/gaming room because it's got shelves on every wall and then I put cords, controllers, card decks, stuff like that in the baskets so they're not just sitting on the shelves.

The problem I have is finding spaces to put all the organized items. Do you have a video about assessing your house for the best places to put all you little boxes, shelves and drawers? I have a small space, but a lot of hobbies that are really not very related. Plus most of my rooms are pretty square, so it is hard sometimes to find places to hang bars and put shelves...

I have a small storage room now but have to move in 2 months and freaking out about how to maximize space in a 1BR apartment. I have all my wedding/party décor in totes currently.
for the butter dish another youtuber uses the lid for washi tape and the tray for resting a glue gun. you can also use it for a paint tray.
Pill organizers are great for storing fake nails in. I rarely ware them and it takes a long time to shape and file them to fit my nails. So I prep them ahead of time, while watching TV or something then label the boxes with which finger and hand. When I'm running to an event, I just pop them on, paint and go.

These are great ideas! My family been trying figure out how to keep medicine in the cabinet without falling out. You mention about the small slender thing it's great for medicine. I will have to go next month to get more storage. I enjoy your videos.
The big pill organizers is great for organizing the paper clips and thumb tacks etc.. For your office.

Thanks! I am reorganizing my studio and saw a perfect fix for a problem I was having on storage. Also if I may add at the dollar tree they have royal blue mini milk crates. I love them and they are super strong with heavy duty plastic. I was shocked!
The Dollar Tree is an awesome store. I have alot of small shallow drawers so the little basket organizers are a must for me, I don't like opening a drawer and having cosmetics and things roll around. I like the idea of pill organizers for a purse jewelry item. I also use them as containers for mints. I find the metal containers alot of mints come in to be hard on the ears lol! Ty!

I use it to store my Dailies contact lenses. It fits perfectly! I have one for the right eye and one for the left eye, and store them side to side in my bathroom drawer. You should do electronic organizing videos. By this I mean your iPad, Google docs, and stuff like that. I am in middle school and it would really be helpful for us students out there. Great tips. You could take the criss cross mesh basket at 1.50, turn them around, and store lipglosses, or chubby pencils standing upright inbetween the slots. I saw this tip on another video... I think Enkore suggested it.

Thanks for this video, Alejandra! I saw that you previously recommended chrome drawer pull-outs. I went on a search to find very good quality ones to fit my cabinet pantry, needing 21" X 21". I saw some for over $150.00 each. I ended up ordering extremely high quality ones for a third of the price at Kohls, on-line only. I registered to have promotions sent to me, and in doing so, they sent me a 20% off coupon. If I spent more than $49.00, I'd have my item shipped for free. So I ordered my hard to find chrome pull-outs, and another little item to qualify for the free shipping. I did this two times. :-D Bottom line, I TOTALLY enjoy them!!! I'm waiting until net month to order a couple more. Thank so much for the excellent suggestion!

I have a round medicine organizer that I use not for daily use but for travel. I put one type of medication in each compartment. Tylenol, Advil, Gas-X, decongestant, antihistamine, etc, etc. They are great for this.

The "baby boy blue" basket also works great in the bathroom to keep hair products (hairspray, gel, brushes, etc) contained and easy to grab out of the cupboard.

I carry around some makeup, laptop, utensils, binder, notebooks, glasses, earphones, etc. lots of gadgets!!! and theyre all stuffed in one of my pouches!!! You are so inspirational! You make my OCD come alive!!
