+mishca cross YES and YES!! It's so easy and crazy fun to make (and use!!!) :) I cleaned a toilet yesterday (with the cleaners!) and caught myself smiling and laughing (because of the FUN cleaners!!!)! :)
I just use equal parts water and vinegar. This will work on glass, mirrors and counters. You could use essential oils but then you want be able to use it on the mirrors.

when I clean I make the cleaner fresh each time in small batches (one time use) so the ingredients are freshly activated and haven't been growing and sitting with bacteria for a long time. I add some lemon juice, a little bit of natural tea like green tea or hibiscus(I know it sounds weird but it helps make everything smell good), baking soda, vinegar, and boiling water to a heat safe bowl and just stir. Then once it cools down a bit I add it to a spray bottle and it works great.

me too! I'm a Matchy Matchy kinda person so these bottles are amazing... I think I would use the blue for window/glass cleaner, pink for clear water, orange yes for multipurpose (Orange scented cleaner), and green for room freshener (Febreze type sprays), I would have to find a white top for that purple coozie but what would ya use it for... hmmmm have to think about all the cleaners I use... I definitely am inspired to start thinking about natural cleaners (I have never used natural oils so have no idea how to mix them for cleaners)

You could use hot glue in a pattern all around the glass bottle to cushion it as well.

Keeping the toilet brush in the caddy seems dirty and weird to me. I don't mind spending a few extra dollars to have one in each bathroom.

I actually buy a new toilet bowl cleaner brush each week and just throw away my other as soon as I use it. Target sells an Up&Up brand toilet bowl brush for a little over a buck. Totally worth it not to have a nasty brush hanging around
+uponamidnightdreary I only replace mine every 5-6 months (also use the up and up brand haha). I feel like that's a lot of plastic to put in a landfill every week.

What about cleaning gloves?
These are great ideas! I use this channel to help me organize better while transitioning into Zero waste living. Although zero waste will not be 100%, it's a goal. Similar to maintaining your health or pushing yourself or for some, neglect that area because those aren't our priorities at that point in time. Everyone's goals will be different. I like unpapertowels, (some jobs you'll need bamboo paper towels), Compostable brushes, dish soap bars, stainless steel bottles with pumps (some straws I've had to replace with my stainless steel straws), coconut toliet brushes, etc. So I won't feel guilty for creating more trash in land fills. I also use 13 gallon bioplastics for trash bags and 3 gallon bio plastics for produce bags when my reusable produce bags are frowned upon but not my reusable shopping bags. There are many eco friendly options available all around us. As for cleaning products some I make and some I buy from eco friendly packaging companies & watch ingredients. I have skin sensitivities so I have to be extremely careful. Most hypoallergenic products in stores were not working for me and costs too much for me.

Would you want to do a "life hack" vs traditional cleaning method video? I see all of these like coke as a toilet cleaner, furniture polish on baseboards stuff that I wouldn't be able to tell if these are the best methods where I feel like you would know immediately.

the cleaning spray side is obviously heavier than the brush side tho
I think the baking soda bottle balanced the weight because it was a fatter and thicker bottle.
Do you worry about cross contamination from putting the cloths you use to clean kitchen counters in the same area as the cloth you use to clean toilets and the toilet scrubber?
+Angelica Guerrero The cloth I use in the kitchen stays in the kitchen! The all-purpose cloth in the caddy is just for bathrooms! I don't think I mentioned that but yes, they are NOT combined! Good question!
@@HomeOrganizing I kinda thought you probably washed the clothes after cleaning house (I think I would do so and you seem to do things the way I did when I was in my own place) *I am living with my mom since she moved into her own home and was struggling with bills and cleaning, and I am struggling at getting organized since I moved in her...you are definitely inspiring me to get moving and started on getting things done! thanks for that!!!
I would def use this caddy idea but I would just keep my bedroom/living room cleaning stuff to go back in fourth with.. I keep bathroom cleaning supplies in the bathroom and each bathroom has their own set of supplies I pick up from the dollar store. I love your video 😍
love! I actually especially liked how "real" this video was. Yes, you were a bit all over the place, but it makes us unorganized but trying to learn people, feel a bit better. Vinegar and water is a perfect natural cleaner half and half in a spray bottle :)
+Heidi Stewart I use white vinegar and infuse lemons in it for 3 days. Shake daily. Then strain the lemons off and add a bit of water and orange essential oil to the mix. Works great in my bathroom and smells heavenly.

+Brianna V.B. I use a quart size mason jar for the vinegar. I use 1 large lemon, and about 15 drops of essential oil. Water is about 1/4 cup.

i was so tickled with your colorful spray bottles that i went out, bought the caddy (already have one dh took over for first aide supplies), went to dollar tree, bought some koozies (but they dont appear to be as large as yours), but the only glass bottle that might fit was extremely heavy, not something my arthritic hand can tolerate. found some small water squirt plastic bottles for ironing at walmart, got them home & they wont fit the koozies. now i'm stuck with all these parts that dont fit together, and an empty carryall! . . . think maybe u could make up a set to sell me ;-) ??
Can you please tell us where you store your cleaning caddy?
Probably in a sheet closet, pantry, a closet in the bathroom or in a cabinet under the sink . Really you can store it wherever you have space and where it is convenient for you :)
