Thank you a thousand times for being the voice of reason when it comes to not over-organizing a fridge!! Drives me up the wall to see Pinterest-perfect fridges with bins everywhere--there is no room for change!
Ok, this might be a weird compliment, but I just want to mention it as a non-native English speaker: Aside from helping me and many other people getting more organised and productive, your videos are also perfect for anyone who wants to improve their English speaking skills. Not only do you have a clear pronunciation and a very clear way of speaking, you're videos are perfect for learning the "household vocabulary". For example, just from this video I learned the word "Craisins" which I never heard before - too be fair though, I also didn't know it existed and never heard of it in my native language, too! Thanks for making these videos and although you're not that active on RUclips anymore, I just wanted to let you know you didn't just make a big impact on the organisation-community, but also helped me and probably a lot of people who are learning and improving their English as well. Gonna recommend your videos to friends who also learn English as a second language and watch English RUclips videos to improve their skills.
Thank you, I learned a few things about low/high vegetables drawers! TIP: lower drawers work great for thawing meats because it stops the possibilities of dripping blood on other foods. :)
Ideally, drawers would be full of fruit & veg for healthy eating. I would suggest designating some large Tupperware on the bottom shelf of your fridge (without the top on) for thawing meat.
Such a good tip, inspecting packaging to determine humidity needs for produce and reusable wraps and covers! I love these new videos focused on smaller, approachable ways to get organized even in temporary places. I’d love tips on how to keep measurements of places or to-be-organized areas in mind and at hand. We moved recently and I’ve been having trouble determining if something I see when I’m out will fit nicely in a space that I would like to add more organization.
I like that fridge!!! We are waiting for ours to completely die before getting a new one but I prefer the freezer on bottom style. Makes sense for the reason you explained. Warm air rises.
Thank you for the tips regarding humidity and, yes, while I do love drawers to keep things from going bad in the back, due to lack of access, you can send yourself nuts trying to maintain a system where everything actually fits well.
That was a good video!! I am an organize freak. I have things always organized in my home. Everything has its place in my home. Love your videos. I am learning lot of tips from you. I wanted to mention two things that I would like you to consider when you organize your fridge. 1) it’s not good to store bananas inside the fridge. 2) it’s always good to store cooked leftovers and other leftovers at the top most rack as it wouldn’t spoil the other food when kept in the lowest rack.
Great to see you again. You are making me crave a new fridge! lol!! The set up is great. Next, you should show us the freezer, organizing and how long to keep certain foods there. My husband seems to think that things are good forever as long as they are in the fridge! Ewe!! Also, can you please share the link for the glass containers and bees wax wrap? Thanks!!!
So, I have a request for a video. I've always wanted to know this of professional organizers and general people who love to organize. Where do you store all your organizing tools like bins, lazy Susans, helper shelf racks, etc? I tend to store mine in the basement storage area but then I end up storing them in the office and bedroom closet as well. I would love to see ideas of storage for organizational tools - I hang on to them because I change my systems around all the time. Oh and I also wanted to add how great it was to learn about high and low humidity for produce. That clears a lot of things up for me about why some packaging has vents and others don't. One thing I like to do with spinach is put paper towels in there to help keep it from wilting too fast from the moisture.
Yeah!!! So happy to see you back! You look beautiful as always and thank you for explaining humidity. I have always wondered about that and never took the time to figure it out!!! God Bless!
I thought I knew everything there is to know about this topic. This video taught me soooo much. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge Alejandra. You are the organization Queen. 💞
Excellent, I love your videos! They help me a lot. Every time i feel lazy i watch your videos and after that i feel soo motivated to clean ad organise my home.
Aw, this was great. And the Email was fantastic. I'm excited for you both and looking forward to see, you know... Ah, you will love it and never look back. We did the same 27 years ago and love it. Ok then, thanks for video lovely lady. ;-)
my spinach in the plastic containers go all mushy if left just like that. I put them in a plastic container with paper towel on bottom and top of the spinach container to soak up the dampness and it stays fresh for me like that.
Very well organised fridge. Great advice too about herbs and leafy veg etc. Just one thing you should never do and that’s - never put bananas in a fridge as they go off very quickly. They don’t do well in the fridge. ❤️
Could you do a video on room organisation for students/teenagers? Because we tend to have heaps of stuff and not always a lot of room to put it, let alone neatly.
If you drink a lot of milk and always finish it before the expiration date (like we do!) Then you don't have to worry as much about it being in the coldest part of the fridge. But if we are traveling I do always move it to the back bottom area!

@@EmRePhoto it doesn't necessarily need to be refrigerated. If organic peanut butter last longer than a few months in your house, then yes.. but if you're a family who eats it within a few months ,then it's perfectly FINE to leave out.

I freeze my herbs in a freezer bag. They stay green & it’s great to have herbs on hand all the time.

Your fridges where you are is different than in the uk. Our fridges have constant cold air in all parts in them.

Awesome! Thank you...
Yup I keep nuts& brown rice in the frig

After so many years of me watching you. You look prettier 🍬
To keep my carrots 🥕 fresher for longer I keep them submerged in cold water too 🤗
I don't like my milk to be really cold..That means I have to put it on the top part of my fridge..right?

fyi if there's an ice maker, the coldest will be at the top... not every fridge is built the same
Our freezer is on top so the top left corner is the coldest. We found out the hard way when some veggies froze in that corner 😂
