Thank you for addressing the functionality of getting your products out of original packaging and into clear organizers. I was one of those doubters until I tried it! What a difference it makes in so many ways! Putting items in the same place consistently is also a game changer for the entire family.

Hi Nikki, the tip that stands out for me, which I have implemented, is how to display foods to encourage consumption, using white or clear bowls. Yesterday, I took some apples out of the produce drawer/bin, and put them is a clear glass bowl. Today, I am getting ready to use them in my juicer! Those apples have been in that drawer for a minute. Thank you Nikki. This video is sooooooo helpful and inspirational, and produces immediate results!

I'm inspired!!!!! Where did you find your food storage containers with white lids? I have searched high and low and can't find any.
First off i had no idea that i needed to watch a video on cleaning my fridge. Now my husband would say i should have watched this video 5 years ago. But what you had to say really made sense. I never though about the food being more appealing in a container, and yes i could really see how it would help with organizing. My husband gets so mad frustrated when it is just piled in there like a house of cards. Thank you. Hi Nikki. I try to clean out at least once a week the night before garbage collection. Leftovers can pile up so quickly and be forgotten if I don't. LOL! Plus I hate a cluttered fridge. I don't see the heads-up emails for your lives anymore! I would love to get them Friday morning and then right before you go live so I can pull up a screen while I'm working. I usually end up grabbing one of two items you are showcasing. Please start again if possible! Thank you!

Organizing the fridge is the 1 area that challenges me most...maybe it's because I have a small apartment size fridge with basic shelves, no zoned drawers and things. Still, this video encourages me to implement these tips as best as possible beginning tomorrow.

I wipe the shelves down every week before I put the shopping away, it’s a good habit to get into. No sticky areas, no smells and no gone off food. Every couple of months I pull all the shelves out and give the a soak in the sink and a good washout, we don’t seem to have the size fridges in the UK compared to the UK though. I don’t use these plastic bins but appreciate how lovely they look!
Good advice... Sisletter (if I remember the name correctly) has really helped me with different systems and a lazy susan rotating organizer with large compartments and this became a game changer in my fridge. I ordered a second one. Huge difference.

How did i just find your channel? I love your advice. Especially the weekly wipe down and reset and the categorizing based on individual families. Great video. 👍 I love an organised fridge and recently corralled all my jams into a long narrow see though container instead of just grouping them together, it’s a game changer! Now at breakfast it is on thing to take out an put away instead of 3 and everyone keeps them neat plus it looks so much tidier. If you need to label containers with categories that might/will change frequently or date them, a white chalk marker or erasable other colour works really well.

This is great timing 1) I purchased a new fridge last year when I redid my kitchen and still haven't gotten it organized as well as I would like (old fridge was a side by side which I had perfectly organized. New fridge is a french door) and 2) cleaning and organizing it is on the list of to dos for this weekend. I totally agree that repackaging saves space.

Hi Nikki. Thanks for doing this video. What types of bottles and/or containers do you like to use for things like coffee creamer, milk, juice, deli meat and sliced cheese? I’m looking to redo my refrigerator organization and get rid of the bulkier original cartons and bottles in order to really utilize the space I have and make my refrigerator more functional.
By the way, I really love the idea of having a rechargeable air purifier in the refrigerator and I will be definitely purchasing one asap!
Just here to say that you shouldn't keep tomatoes in the fridge, low temperature can make them turn floury.

Your Refrigerator is Beautiful. I remember a few years ago you did a video showing your frig. Where do you buy all your containers and bottles? I Love all that bright white lids, and those bottles too
One of the biggest “ah ha” moments for me was realizing that just because the refrigerator comes with 4 shelves doesn’t mean I have to use all 4 shelves. Not only can I move the shelves up or down depending on what food I have, but I can take shelves out all together. Seems like a no-brainer but it took me well into my late 40s to make this revelation. Now I just store any unused shelf in the pantry.
