Passed the part 107 today with a 92%! Had only 6 days to study. Based on the codes of my errors everything I got wrong had to do with remote ID. Exam is fairly easy IF YOU STUDY. Heavy on the sectional charts. I studied by watching this video about 3 times, watching the drone coach’s part 107 series (about 9 hours of lessons) & downloading an app called “Part 107 test” it has a ton of annoying ads but is very helpful since the majority of the questions on my exam were extremely similar to what was on that app. Keep in mind that I did put in about 30 hours of studying (began on a Wednesday, studied for about 2 hours after work and the entire day on the weekend ). Just passing on my method! Best of luck!
Congratulations. You did really good. Absolutely! studying is a must for the test. I put a lot of hours studying. That’s how I was able to create that video. Thanks for the tip on the app for everyone else to use. Enjoy your drone and have a beautiful day
I'm getting ready to take mine. I've watched several videos, and found new information on one that wasn't on all of them. I think it's best to watch several so you don't miss anything. For example, the drone coach mentioned 2,000 feet allowed over national parks, etc. Also you have to have waiver within a national park monument. This is the first I've heard this one.
I highly recommend this refresher for anyone that is taking the FAA 107 exam. I watched it just prior to taking the exam and passed with no problems. Excellent job Ms. Katia!!!
I signed up for this exam without a study guide, watched this video twice the night before, and passed with a 88%. The only part(s) of the test I was not familiar with were the questions regarding remote ID/broadcasting modules and FAA law exceptions. If you're reading this and taking the test soon, make sure you're familiar with airspace classifications, weather patterns/causes, and VFR sectional charts. Thank you Katia for creating this great study guide!
Just walking out of the testing center with a passing score. I watched your video 3 times. And 1 more before testing day. Thanks Katia. Like you say “IF I CAN DO IT, YOU CAN DO IT” thanks again.

The rest was pretty straight forward with rules, definitions, weather, pressures and all the new stuff from this video! Happy New Year and good luck to everyone!

@@claytonpendergraft6770 Are the questions similar to questions you see on the practice exams as well. I am scoring well on the practice exams but a little worried that could be due to memorizations as well.
My wife and I just passed our test in the Atlanta area. We watched this video 3 times (quick review before test). Came out 107 certified. Thanks for a great video and study guide.
Katia, I watched your video this morning completely before heading out to take my test. Watching your presentation helped me answer several questions and I was ready for harder ones that were not even asked. Thank you- I passed with 80%
This is definitely the best one I've seen.......thank you! You covered the new stuff very well. There are other good videos, but they're outdated. You're the first I've seen to properly cover the new stuff. I failed a practice exam using the older online videos, but after yours, I aced what struck me as a difficult practice test. Hope to get it done this week. You're awesome!
Passed my exam today..90%. I listened to your video as my final review before going to the testing center. You were right on and you helped me solidify a few points before the test. Some of the questions were a bit vague and I had to look at the answers and figure out if any of them would be true if some circumstance was added to the question. That seemed to have worked out. Thank you for posting this video and in case nobody said it today...you are beautiful. Thanks again!
Thank you Katia, I just passed with a 93%!. Watched your video many times and it helped immensely. The best tip of all, bring a magnifying glass the sectional charts are in very small print and I had to use them a lot. Also, learn the information don't memorize it. It will be presented much differently than on the practice tests.
Congratulations! I agree with you about the magnifying glass. It helps A LOT! Thanks for watching the videos and taking the time to send me a comment. Have a beautiful day.
I'm testing next week and have looked at several videos. This video by far delivered the best amount of information in the best format and time that I have seen. Thanks so much for putting this video together!
Just walked out of my exam and passed! Thank you, your study guide was the most helpful. One thing not covered in any of the study guides that was on my test was several questions about drone transponders and remote IDs. Also lots of radio frequency questions. Don't forget MULTICOM frequency: 122.9 MHz
I’ve seen a lot of people say this about the newer exams. I know this was 11 months ago, for you, but do you recall what kind of questions about remote ID were on there?
I have watched Tony, and Altitude University and now Katia's Buzz TV along with studying the Handbook and read all parts of 107. I will be taking my test Tuesday, but i will say Katia's video is giving me a better understanding of what i need to go back and focus on before the test, and providing me with a lot of information the other videos did not give me.
Just passed my exam with an 88%. I watched this video 3 or 4 times. I took notes and then in between took a practice test. I used the App part 107 Exam Center: FAA prep by Tuli Education. The tests cost about 5 dollars per test so I spent about 15 dollars total. This video has all the information you need to pass this test! It is a really excellent summary of the material. Don't hesitate to stop the video and take notes on the slides. There are lots of good in depth videos on specific topics that other youtubers provide if you need to focus on a particular area like METAR or TAF. I did end up printing out the sectional charts but I don't know if I really needed to do that. You need to study for this test but not for like months. I started studying a week before taking it and have NO experience with flying anything. I probably spent 10-15 hours total studying/taking practice tests. Katia's video was by far the most useful of all the resources I used. You do not need to pay hundreds of dollars to take and pass the test. Thank you so much for the great video/help!
Congratulations! 🥂 I’m so glad you found all the info you needed to pass here. That was my intention, to prepare everyone for all the questions they will encounter. Thanks for the message. Have a beautiful day ☀️
Thanks for taking the time to make this video, including the extra time you took to mark chapters and present everything in such an organized way! I'll be watching it again right before I take the exam
Watched this a few times. Love the info and you present it well. Passed my test with a 92! You should be included in the must-watch study guides! Thanks so much!
Katia thank you so much! I passed my exam today and all I did was watch your video 3-5 times and take one free online practice exam. Many thanks and God bless you!
Congratulations!!!! Way to jump into the new year 2022! Enjoy flying your drone now!!!! Thanks for taking the time to let me know. I’m so glad the video helped you prepare for the exam.
This is a great video with a ton of info on the 2021 updates! I watched other part 107 study guide videos but many are out of date or just not in depth enough. I watched this video last night and it helped me focus on topics that I wasn’t fully up to speed on. Really a great job of breaking down the new regulations. I passed my exam this morning with a 98%!
I didn’t pay for anything. Read the regulations, supplement and study guide on the FAA website and take notes. The reason I say to get familiar with the actual regulations rather than only watching videos is that it’s a good idea to have them around or at least bookmarked for future reference once you have your license. That way if you ever aren’t sure about where/when you can fly you know where to look it up to stay compliant. There are some great videos on this channel that are up to date and go into detail. Make sure you fully understand the sectional charts, METARs/TAFs, regulations and read the questions several times on the test before you answer. The FAA likes to word questions in a way that can lead you to select the wrong answer because it is “kind of” right but not the best answer. The only one I missed I definitely shouldn’t have 🤦♂️
Katia what an incredible "Buzz" I watch it a few time, it was direct, no "Fluff" and inspiring, I passed my Part 107 today with a 90! A lot of the content you spoke about was there! Bravo Zulu young lady!!!
Literally just walked in the door from my test and passed! Got an 82% and proud. It was surprisingly quick too. Unless I had easier questions; it took me less than 30 minutes.
Helllo Erik, what did you do for studying for the exam?? I’m going to get mine soon but not sure on how much information I need to know before going into the test
@@kylemathis9741 I watched her video and took notes, then I watched Gary Glenn(he has a free video about 2 hours), and Tony Northrup(about the same time). They all pretty much say the same thing. The other 2 videos are kind of old as in hers has some updated information that you will need. And it doesn't hurt to order the airmen test supplement on Amazon so your familiar with it(the book they give you when you take the test). Other than that, it's pretty straight forward. Hell, I could make one of these videos
I took the test 3 weeks ago and passed with a 87% after watching this and a few other videos. The test center had software issues, and the test kept freezing. Because of software freezes it took 15 minutes to move beyond the 1st 4 questions, and a hour to complete a test which would not have been more than 1/2 hour. My test had several questions about medical approval from an FAA doctor, or state doctors in order to fly. This was not anywhere in my test material, but I saw it briefly while looking through the FAA site a week ago. I believe those Medical related questions caused me to score below 90%, besides being fatigued waiting for restarts of my computer to continue my test. I studied 3 weeks listening to this and other videos, and when I consistently got 90 to 100% on the practice test I scheduled my test. Thanks Katia I loved your presentation ❤️.
Thank you so much Anthony. I’m sorry your test was such a technical disaster. That’s crazy. But you managed to pass anyways so congratulations! 🥂 thanks for sharing this info on the medical questions. Enjoy your drone!
I've been studying for this test off and on for a couple of years. I started studying harder lately because I want to take the test in the next week or so. I really like the presentation in this video. It's lean and well organized, especially when you consider that the material being covered can be difficult and confusing. It helped fix some my my weak points, so it gets a like and a sub. Thanks!

Passed the test yesterday after watching this video like 20 times lol. Thank you for all the helpful information! It was super helpful on the exam - and I felt very prepared thanks to you. Thank you again, for helping me build another source of income.
Thank you, this is video is concise and very helpful. I'm about halfway through the PI course and working toward the exam. What I've learned is irregardless of whether you are a recreational or commercial flyer you REALLY need to know ALL of this information and get your Part 107 license. I was doing so much wrong before I started studying and it's all about safety. If you're flying a drone, EVERYONE needs to know this information.
I totally agree with you. From the moment I started studying the part 107, I realized drones are no toys. It gave me an opportunity to look at safety concerns, to really have everyone’s safety as a priority. I stopped flying on top of people, on top of cars, on top of streets. I never lose eye contact with the drone… Thank you for pointing that out and thank you for visiting Katia’s Buzz. I wish you the best on your test. Please let me know how it goes. 🐝
Ive been watching all types of videos and taking practice tests but I think this video definitely streamlined pretty much everything you might need to know to take this test and I like they way she explained things in real world terms. I take my test tomorrow and feel like if I watch this one more time before I go in I'll be good. Thanks Katia for putting this video together.
Hi Katia... I'm preparing to take the test in December 2023 and truly appreciate your video. I've been watching it while I work and studying for a bit after work. You're video is one of my favorite ones on RUclips! Take care... MDO & Company!
Just took the Part 107 exam today and passed on the first try. I watched this video at least three times. I recommend exploring other support materials too. I read some of the materials from the official FAA website. Also, I took several practice exams. My study for this exam ran about three weeks. Next up exploring a drone to use for Real Estate purposes. Thanks for sharing this video with us. Lastly, know what a rain cloud is, know about registering an international and domestic drone. Also, I was able to us a magnifying glass and it was very helpful.
Outstanding Video! Clear, concise and complete.. Just passed my Part 107 test with a 95% score; the information in this video was critical in passing. Didn't buy any of those courses, just bought the 2021 Remote Test Prep book, and watched this video.
Thank you so much for making this video Katia. It helped me immensely! Appreciate the time and effort you took to put together such a valuable free resource. Also thanks for recommending the lighted magnifying glass, I used one and it made reading the charts so much easier than it would have been without one. Happy flying! 😊
@@carlosherrera3600 Google "part 107 practice exams" and take all of them that come up. The "UAVGroundschool" tests were pretty close to the actual exam. For my test, 38 questions were rules and regulations (memory questions), 2 load factor calculation, and 20 were out of the supplement. Of those 20: 1 metar, 2 TAF, 17 airspace elevation questions.
A quick heart felt Thank You for this video. Passed the Part 107 this morning with 90%. (and that was totally guessing at a few answers) Watched your vid. several times. A word of advice to others....study, study, study. There were several unfamiliar questions on my test. Study the things you think you wont use... i.e. weather effects on aircraft and effects of weight on aircraft (center of gravity). Good luck.
I just past with an 82 this is the best video out i have found for the updated stuff that was present on my exam. There definitely with be questions about C1, C2, etc. Make sure to be familar with how to find charts the fastest for you. i started by using the table of contents but found it was far faster just to flip the pages and pay attention to figure numbers. other than that if you get every sectional chart answer right you will pass. but make sure to be aware of current rules and reg. some weren't mentioned here. For example should you dim your lights maker lights at night? if you look at your drone off center for 2-3 secs what will happen? and a few more tricky questions.
Recently took the exam. This covered everything I had on my exam. Just be sure to know all of these points in depth. Studied for a week and passed first time!

I just took my test and passed with an 82%. I used your video and a few others and several practice test for studying. I will say your video was super helpful for knowing the updated info that would be on the test. What shocked me were the amount of tricky questions; with some seeming to have more than one right answer. I am not a good "standardized" test taker so I'm sure that's where the problem came in. Hope to get it done this week. You're awesome!
Thank you! So glad I can help 😉 it’s an honor
Great job! 🥂🪅🎉
Thanks so much for letting me know. Good luck!
Congratulations. Thank you for taking the time to write me. I hope you take some awesome drone footage
Thank you NV Pharaoh. You’re going to ace the test! Good luck 😉
Thank you! And Congratulations!
I passed my pilots exam today after watching your video 4 times. I’ve studied a few other videos but yours explained it to the T . Thank you greatly
Thanks! & Congrats 🥂
Passed with 87%. This was the last video I watched in my hour before my test. Thanks!
Congratulations!!!! Have fun flying! 🥂
Thank for the advice about the magnifying glass with the light, big help. Passed on the first try with an 83.
Congratulations! Yes the magnifying glasses help a lot 😉
Mission accomplished. That’s the reason I made this video so I am really thrilled that it’s helping! Made my day! Congratulations on your test!!!
Hi Paratus, what study guides, other than this one did you watched? Did you pay for any?
Thank you! I really appreciate your comment. Congratulations on your exam! 🥂

One of the best videos! Take my UAG tomorrow. Here we go!
How did it go!? Did you pass?
You passed?!? 😉
Awesome feedback. Thank you. You can download the test supplement right here as well if you want. Congratulations on passing the test!
Thanks!
Thank you! Good luck on the exam. You may want to watch the slideshow right before going in for your short term memory - ruclips.net/video/fjyXAWpQa0E/видео.html
@@KatiasBuzzMedia No, no, no. Thank YOU. I've watched a lot of training videos in the last few years, but yours were a big part of my final preparation the last couple of weeks. Result: 90% on the exam today.
Next step, buy a bomber jacket, a scarf, and a headset so I look like a real pilot. :)
Just found your page! Take my test on Tuesday and have been studying for 2-3 days now. I will now follow the comments and watch your videos until Tuesday morning. Wish me luck!
Watch the slideshow as well for a quick recap. Best of luck! 😉
6:00 she said that I'd you are in a boat you can't fly ur drone. She just misspoke. The previous slide said that you CAN pilot it drone if you are on a waterborne vehicle
Katia, your video was one of the most up to date reviews I saw. I just passed the exam with a 92%. Thanks!!
I cannot thank you enough. I watched your video about 3 times and confidently passed my test today. Thank you for making this information available. You're great.
Congratulations! I’m so glad I could help!
Past my test today, 87 %with your help. Thank you very much.
Passed the test yesterday after watching this video like 20 times lol. Thank you for all the helpful information! It was super helpful on the exam - and I felt very prepared thanks to you. Thank you again, for helping me build another source of income.
Congrats! That’s awesome. Thanks for sharing. Stay in touch.
so only watching this video alone?
past my part 107 exam with 95% today. Thank you for this excellent video!
Thank you Katia, I passed my exam yesterday and gave you credit!! I also put a link to you:)
Congratulations! This is fantastic news. You must be so relieved. Thanks for the credit. ;)
@@richsantana7825 how’d you do?
Thank you! Just passed my exam this morning. Watched your videos a few times with others and help me out greatly. Thank you again!!!
Congratulations Nelson! I’m so glad the video helped you pass!!!! 🥂
Hi Katia... I'm preparing to take the test in December 2023 and truly appreciate your video. I've been watching it while I work and studying for a bit after work. You're video is one of my favorite ones on RUclips! Take care... MDO & Company!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you so much! Good luck
Thank you so very much! I am watching a variety of Study Guides, but you are giving wonderful details, tips, etc. Thank you again.
You’re very welcome. This is pretty much what can be expected on the test. Best of luck!
Thanks for all the great feedback, including the magnifying glass! It helps for sure. Congratulations!
Outstanding Video! Clear, concise and complete.. Just passed my Part 107 test with a 95% score; the information in this video was critical in passing. Didn't buy any of those courses, just bought the 2021 Remote Test Prep book, and watched this video.
Congratulations! So glad I could help!
Thank you so much for making this video Katia. It helped me immensely! Appreciate the time and effort you took to put together such a valuable free resource. I took my 107 exam today and passed with a 98%. Also thanks for recommending the lighted magnifying glass, I used one and it made reading the charts so much easier than it would have been without one. Happy flying! 😊
R my
Just walked out of the test with an 85. Watched your video a dozen times and took 3 practice tests. Good to go! Thank you!
Where did you take a practice test if I may know?
@@carlosherrera3600 Google "part 107 practice exams" and take all of them that come up. The "UAVGroundschool" tests were pretty close to the actual exam. For my test, 38 questions were rules and regulations (memory questions), 2 load factor calculation, and 20 were out of the supplement. Of those 20: 1 metar, 2 TAF, 17 airspace elevation questions.
Awesome. Congratulations!
Good luck.
Thank you so very much for your feedback. Congratulations on passing the exam. You rock!
Great tips! Congratulations!
this video was extremely helpful. I passed my exam with an 80% yesterday. I appreciate you Katia!!
Thank you Daniel. Most appreciated. Congratulations!!!! 🥂
Appreciate you. Just pass today with 82% using your study guide.

Thanks for the video Katia! Received a 90 after watching this 1.5x and refreshing on the technical pieces. Cheers!
Congrats 🥂
How close was the actual test compared to what Katia presented here? I’m about to take my test
@@Atlas6355_ All tests vary by test center. For my test, i'd say ~70% on common sense stuff and the rest were like map/weather and by common sense i mean ie: what does a decrease in oxygen do to your night vision.... increase, decrease, does nothing type of questions
Brilliant 🎉

I just took my test and passed with an 82%. I used your video and a few others and several practice test for studying. I will say your video was super helpful for knowing the updated info that would be on the test. What shocked me were the amount of tricky questions; with some seeming to have more than one right answer. I am not a good "standardized" test taker so I'm sure that's where the problem came in. Anyone getting ready to take the test, delve deeply into the extact wording the FAA uses for their answers and questions. Thank you Katia for a wonderful study supplement!
Congratulations! And yes, I agree with you a 100%. Some questions are tricky and the best way to know how to answer them is to know what they expect.
Passed the 107 with a 92 today. Thanks so much for this and your condensed video!
That’s great! 🥂🎉 congratulations!
I like the way you break up the studies with related graphics and video clips, this helps me to keep concentration on a heavily concentrated study like this one. I Bought the magnifier that you suggested.

36:00 Interesting (at least to me) note. Some of the METAR abbreviations that seem strange to English speakers are from French words. For example, BR for mist is from the French 'brume', FU for smoke is from 'fumée', and GR for hail is from 'grêle'. Source: the "METAR" article at Wikipedia.
Ah très intéressant! That much easier to remember if you speak French! Thanks 😎
