    Mate, i have exactly the same pack, been plumbing for 21 years, from Australia and work here, I got it cause was sick of always going to ute to keep getting tools so i pretty much have all I need apart from battery tools, had the same issue with zips I used 1 inch key rings instead of zip ties, my veto set me back $400 aussie dollars one of the pricest bag but you do get what u paid for. Nice setup.

    • @ThePlumbleBee
      @ThePlumbleBee  8 месяцев назад

      Lol yes! Just hate going back to the damn truck!! The key rings sound like a good idea too. Might have to try that when the zip ties fall off.

    Nice quality tools that it looks like you take good care of. Never be afraid to buy quality tools. They’re an investment in yourself.
    A lot of redundancy in that bag though. It could be slimmed down quite a bit and not lose any efficiency. But keep doing what works for you.

    You can REPLACE those zipper pulls with MAXPEDITION large pullers in black (they come in red also) The large will look proper and it just ties in and looks standard:) They don't break either and have rubber finger grips!

    I'm wandering how heavy is your toolbag.
    I have the same Veto back pack, (electrician tools) and its weigth is around 29 pounds, and start to be too heavy....
    Thanks for your video.

    60 lbs? Think its time to upgrade to the wheeler veto bag. Also, where are your aluminum pipe wrenches?

    • @ThePlumbleBee
      @ThePlumbleBee  8 месяцев назад

      Nah, I’m still good with my current setup. I’m going to use it until the “wheels fall off” 😉. I’ll consider getting one if that happens. Or when I get too old to carry it. I have pipe wrenches, just wouldn’t carry them in that bag as I typically don’t need them on most of my jobs.

    That drain key and ratchet is a really good idea! Did you modify that drain key, or it came that way?
    I also got the same veto bag. Mine weighs around 45 lbs. worth every penny

    • @ThePlumbleBee
      @ThePlumbleBee  11 месяцев назад

      I have one and many others of what I would call “specialty tools”, that I keep in my “specialty tools” bag.

    • @3vil3lvis
      @3vil3lvis 8 месяцев назад

      The band that gets stuck on copper pipe compression fittings is often referred to as an "Olive". These should be removed everytime the fitting is replaced, but some people half ass it with teflon tape and liquid pipe tape.

    Holly , I just got tired rom watching , you don’t need half of it for every day calls !!, do what you said about the speciality tools , just grab them before walking into the house , you know what the call is for already .like the basin wrench or the 5th set of pliers or the 8th screw driver 😂 but whatever is your back

    It's pronounced Ka-nip-ex, not Ka-knee-pex. Also, no such thing as "Milwaukee Channel locks". Those are both brand names for groove joint pliers. Same for your "Crescent wrenches". Crescent is a brand. Those wrenches are adjustable wrenches. Last, shed the backpack and buy an actual tool bag.
    You're welcome. Regards, A Licensed Master Plumber.

      Oh my, thank you so much for taking the time out of your day as a “licensed master plumber” to educate me on what 99% of people call these tools. And, those same 99% are well aware that its not their official name.
