Because of his Dr. Tornado from his down special, Mario Tornado has been replaced by his F.L.U.D.D. since Brawl.

He beeds punishment. Maybe a challenge only nana can do. Meaning popo probably has to be sacrificed.
If we assume the Ice climbers are in their default skin, you can’t sacrifice Popo because it leads the the Ice Climbers as a unit dying.

If its a trap, wouldn't it make more sense for characters to NOT be prepared for it? Like not having bombs or charges ready before they teleport?
Maybe they were expecting enemies and not a pit of fire?
Mario warned them ahead of time. Everything after that was trying to humiliate Bowser.

Aw man, this makes me wish, once again, that Ganondorf had a float mechanic in reference to his OoT fight. This challenge should be a breeze for him lol.
Unfortunately, the devs were too busy making him a Falcon clone to consider things that are actually fitting for Ganondorf.
Yes, that would be an interesting move that could be used for recovery and to avoid projectiles, and help with this slower speed

If you think about it Bowser probably made this trap, knowing that multiple characters would make it. But ultimately just wanted to make sure his arch nemesis wouldn't be able to pull it off.

I'm getting anxiety over the characters who succeed just standing on the portal afterwards.
Doesn't shulk fall faster with jump art activated? I remember that trying to spike with down air below the stage kills you with jump art because you get to the blast zone before the down air ends. Maybe he could make it by activating it later?
Yes, jump increases fall speed. No art reduces fall speed sadly.

This one was pretty easy but I do love some of the crazier strategies like with Ice Climbers and Joker.
It's rather upsetting how close Incineroar was
Portals really mess up the Ice Climbers, do they?
My idea to how they should have done it is that the portal has 2 stages: fully, semi, disabled.
All fighters except an Ice Climber can only enter it when it's fully, and it will go to disabled. An Ice Climber can enter when it's fully or semi, and it will go from fully to semi, and semi to disabled.
The timer seems to be 3 seconds, this timer is not reset when it goes from semi to disabled, so after 3 seconds from when it no longer was fully, it will become fully again.

I dunno why, but I feel like Incineroar could probably do it. Neutral-B slows down his descend quite a bit, so with a bit sidedrift, second jump and Side-B, he might be able to stall long enough to Up-B into the portal. Not entirely sure about that though 🤔

Sepiroth literally taunted Bowser by just hanging on via his Forward Air the entire time he was in that trap before he dipped out of it when the portal came back-

Wii Fit Trainer is like me in group projects. Does all the work but gets none of the credit.

i feel like some characters with a counter special could've either succeeded or come closer to success, because i tested some of their moves and saw that the counter slows their descent a little bit

If the ETLT doesn't work for a Mario All but One/Dr Mario One and Only, try this instead! (except with two pipes; one being the enter pipe and the other being an exit pipe)
61 Super Smash Bros Ultimate characters did survive Bowser's trap, but 28 Super Smash Bros Ultimate characters did not.
It would have been funny had you used Pacman's hydrant instead.

Not sure why they didn't make it so portals work for Ice Climbers properly. When a portal is disabled, it should have two states: fully disabled and semi disabled.
Fully disabled is the normal state it will go to as it does now. But if one of the Ice Climbers go through, it will go to the semi disabled mode instead. Semi disabled has the exact same timer for when it goes back to normal. An Ice Climber can enter a semi disabled as well, making it fully disabled, but it doesn't reset the timer. Now both Ice Climbers can go through it.

They have to stay three seconds to escape. The warp zone is open after three seconds when they enter

Both cloud and ken can make it. By using hadoken to stall and then using focus attack while double jumping, you can cancel out of the focus attack and up b to the portal. Cloud can instantly side b the second he goes through the portal, wait, side b again, and then double jump charge limit and up b. I spent too much time on this
Pyra could make it because of her neutral b stall.
Does Chrom and Roy Side B not stall them like it does with Lucina and Marth?
I feel Incineroar could've made it if Darkest lariat was used at some point to delay his fall
