Enjoyed watching the painting process and the 'tricks of the trade' you've learned over the years. Lots of small details that will be helpful for all those working on murals in their own homes and even those who have already been painting murals for some time.
Are you thinking of painting a wall in your house? What will you paint? Also, I'm not sure if I clearly said Acrylic/Latex paints (general) can be purchased as interior house paint or as craft paint in small bottles. There are many places to buy acrylic latex paint.
Amy Dillard thank you Amy for this video. Its really helpful. Can we use normal acrylics paint that we use on canvas? Also, did u finish the mural with some coating after its dry?
Nisha sorry I just saw this question! You can use regular acrylic paints, but it may be less expensive to use wall paint from a home improvement store for larger areas. I did not seal it when finished, it stays on just fine. Thanks for watching!!
@@amydillardGypsySoul if i look on pinterest and make thn it will become a copy na, i dont want to copy another artist hardwork and give my name to it.
@@poojaagarwala3182 I agree- you don't want to copy someone else's work. But you can get inspired by what you see and as an artist it will give you all sorts of ideas to create something that only you can paint!
@@amydillardGypsySoul agreed but thats the problm, i see many murals of dffrnt artist just to get some idea but all i can think is the same designs or else combining a part of different different murals and create one, which ia also copying na, i mean nothing dffrnt comes to my mind.
I really want to paint my living room wall with light colors I have never done such huge flowers so pls give me tips to do it without fear or ruining the wall
Try drawing your design first with light- colored chalk so you can work out the composition. Then just remember you can paint over anything with the original wall color if you don’t like it. Good luck!
Lovely!! What a gift of talent and artistry!
