I flew and really liked the DA40. I want to try the Cirrus (the ballistic parachute is a nice feature lacking in the DA40) before I pull the trigger.

That approach was kind of fast, i also will recommend you to keep your hand on the throttle all the time during landings. Keep it up.

I imagine he was keeping speed up to maintain positive control through the drafts. Looked a bit choppy up there.
My hands are always on the throttle during take TO and Ldg, speed may be looking fast in the video but really wasn't. 55 tks at touch down at most.
Well, not always. During the take off ground roll you took your hands off twice. Speed was a little too high, you kept floating.
