Great theatre, whether here or in the Chinese 999 step challenge, or in the vintage TV and magazine ads featuring safaris and sahara sand dunes back in the day. Very clever and creative folks at Rover, they make me smile about owning the 2012 Luxury Supercharged that I drive every day. It drives like a Rolls-Royce but can off-road like a bad-ass. Love that combo!
The video is amazing but with 2 problems, 3:59, no matter how many times you watch it, it seems like a RC toy car doing some rock crawling with some rendering effects. 5:29, there was a huge step, wonder how the vehicle got up there as it was slippery with water coming with backward force, should have shown that part.
My thought was it was a video of the car driving over flat ground with a thin sheet of water, like at their test track or something, overlayed onto a video of the slipway.
Beyond the glitz and glam combo with offroading ability, there is nothing the Range can do that the Land Cruiser cannot better. Never mind the costs of repairs after it takes a bashing...

I’ve tested most good off-roaders in the deserts and mountains in the UAE. We always take a Land Cruiser with us to pull them out of trouble
