The furthest off road 99.9% of Range Rover Sports will get is parking on the pavement dropping the kids off on the school run.
This is a great video. I was part of the team that designed the spillway and plunge pool for the dam. When I first read what they were trying to do, I was very skeptical and thought it very unsafe. What an accomplishment.
We've been very grateful to many people associated with the Kárahnjúkar Hydropower Plant for their assistance in making this happen.

there looks to be a ramp at the top of the spillway is this true? how often do vehicles use this to check the integrity of the dam?
Its a few inches of water on an easy grade slope. What was so hard?

When you twist the key in the lock after a 7mo pause, in which a winter passed... and the engine begins to purr at half key... and you know the car was made in 1998... and it goes directly (after a wash) to technical inspection... and they forge it, and speed it on tambours, and measure emissions, and push the brakes at 4000 rpm, and it seems it never ends... then it comes out with a blank sheet = no major and no minor defficiencies... The only thing you can say is 'Hats off Land Rover!' My car is a Discovery 2. The heart I trust is her engine. And I know, Land Rover will never lower its standards, this video proves it!
